AN: Okay, so we're getting really close to he point where I'm planning on taking a break from Nightwings Flight. The reason for this break is because I'm going to try and catch Legend of the Dark Knights to the point where Flight is. That's probably going to take me a long time though, so I'll do my best to elongate this period of time as much as I can.

18:00 NOV 4TH 2013 TERMINATOR BARRACKS
I walked down the long hallway, placing my helmet onto my head. 'Deathstroke realizes that he can just call him over the intercom,' I thought to myself angrily as I stopped outside of Renegades courters.
I pushed the metal door open to see a shirtless Renegade hanging from the ceiling, his pants hanging around his thighs as he pulled himself up to touch the ceiling with the palms of his hands. He turned his head around to face me, his blue eyes piercing angrily through my helmet even though he had a smile on his well chiseled face.
"Hello Ravager," he said, grabbing the ceiling with his hand and dropping down onto the floor. "Does Deathstroke have another mission for us?"
"Uhh, well, um, yes," I fumbled, trying to keep from looking at his muscular chest that was glistening with sweet. "We're receiving a shipment of weapons at the Gotham Docs, and Deathsroke wants us to make sure no one interferes with it."
"That's not gonna be easy," Renegade said, picking up a towel he'd left on his bed and whipping off his face, arms and chest. "Batman tends to keep a keen eye on the docks in case some criminal decides to bring in some kind of weapon of mass destruction."
"That's why I'll be punched on a building across the river," I said, looking around the room for anything to distract my attention. "That way I'll be able to take out any threats to the mission without them noticing me."
"You better wait for them to take me out first," Renegade said, glaring at me with those piercing baby blue eyes again. "Remember, Batman is still the man who raised me, and if you kill him you've lost one of your bargaining chips."
"I realize that," I growled, walking towards the smaller man, forgetting about his exposed chest. "But if you are unable to incapacitate him then I'll have to take the shot!"
"Fine," Renegade mumbled, walking over to the mahican that was wearing his suit, taking the top off and pulling it onto his body before taking off his own pants and replacing them with that of the snug fitting suits. He strapped on the utility belt, pulled the cowl over his face, and stepped into the custom made boots. "Let's get moving,"

19:00 NOV 4TH 2013 GOTHAM CITY DOCKS
I laid on my stomach on the inside of a crane arm, waiting for the boat that contained Deathsrokes shipment. 'Why on earth would he send it to Gotham, Bludhaven would have been much easier,' I thought to myself before I realized it was because Batman was here that Deathstroke had chosen here. "That bastard!"
"What was that?" Ravager asked on the other end of the coms system.
"Nothing," I answered, grumbling under my breath since I forgot they'd made it impossible for me to talk without Ravager hearing everything.
"Well stay focused, the shipment should be coming in any moment," Ravager replied just as a boat began to head in towards the bay. "Get ready."
The ship docked, a small battalion of Ravagers beginning to move the crates off of it. Supervising it was a man dressed in thicker body armor, and a solid black steel mask with what looked like orange claw marks across the reflective glass of the eyes.
"looks like Batman didn't think anything of this shipments," I said as the last box was brought off of the ship.
"Fuck!" Ravager yelled, the spark of hope I'd just had completely extinguished. "Renegade, I've got Batman up here, so you're on your own for the rest of this!"
"Great," I groaned, the Terminators suddenly getting engulfed by a cloud of of smoke. I jumped out of the crane arm and extended my my gliding suit wings, moving quickly over to the ship. I dropped down into the cloud of smoke, turning on my detective vision to see a small slender figure ramming their knee into the face of the last standing Terminator. "Can I help you?"
"Dick?" Jasons voice said, the small figure staring at me before booking it out of the area, heading towards the street.
I ran after Jason, turning off my detective vision once I exited the cloud to see that he was wearing the same uniform I'd worn when I was his age. 'Damn it Bruce, what were you thinking?' I thought to myself as Jason grappled up onto the shipping containers. I followed quickly rolling once I landed and continuing to chase after the red clad teen. I threw my Escrima at the teens back right before he began to jump over a gap in the containers. The electrically charged weapon him him in the lower back and knocked him into the side of the container, the metal denting slightly as he fell onto the concrete ground below. "Fuck!" I yelled, jumping down to make sure he was okay, my heart beating threw my chest.
As I landed Jason's gloved hand hit me square in the face. I grabbed his arm and twisted him around, slamming him into the metal container.
"I looked up to you!" Jason yelled, spit flying out of his mouth as he glared at me angrily. "How could you do this to us?!"
"Shut up Jason!" I yelled, letting go of the teen and backing up, raising my hands so that he knew I didn't want to fight.
"I thought you were my brother!" He yelled, getting into a fighting position, doing his best to keep the scowl on his face. "You're supposed to be a hero…"
"Jason…" I started, looking down at my hands, realizing what I could do. I formed the simple sign with my right hand, smiling at the younger teen.
"What the fuck is that supposed to mean?!" he yelled, throwing another wild punch that I easily avoided. "Damn you!"
"Jason!" I yelled, trying to figure out what to say to the young teen that wouldn't give anything away to Ravager.
"Renegade, the Bat's heading your way!" Ravager yelled over the coms. "I need you to take out your opponent as quickly as you can before he gets there so that we can outnumber him!"
"Understood," I said, looking back down at Jason. "You're gonna want to hurry before he gets here."
"Good point," they both said in unison, Jason grappling back up to the top of the shipping container and running away.
21:00 NOV 4TH 2013 TERMINATOR COMMAND ROOM
Deathstroke rammed his boot into the side of my head as I lay on the metal grate like walkway of the room.
"You let him get away!" he yelled, picking me up off of the ground and punching my square in the face, one of my toot getting knocked out. "You disobeyed a direct order!"
Deathstroke reeled back for another punch, but Ravager grabbed him by the arm. "That's enough," he said, the two men staring at each other before Deathstroke decided to drop me.
"Fine, but next time, I won't be so merciful," Deathstroke said, turning around and walking back to his chair, bumping shoulders with Ravager.
"If that's merciful, I don't want to see you when he wants me dead," I said as Ravager helped me up off of the floor.
"Trust me, you don't," Ravager replied, helping me out of the command room and into the hallway where he picked me up entirely and slung me over his shoulder. "I'm sorry."
"For what? it's not your fault that your father wants to beat me to death," I laughed, wincing from the pain it caused.
"I mean for the way I've been treating you lately," Ravager answered, his voice softer than usual. "You're not a killer Dick, and I shouldn't expect you to be, even if it meant my brothers life."
"Don't apologize for that," I said sternly, the image of Joey's throat getting slit racing through my head again. "I should have had the guts to kill him."
"It's not in your blood," Ravager said, opening the door to the medical ward and dropping me on the empty bed. "I brought your roommate back," Ravager laughed, looking over at his brother. "Don't worry though, he shouldn't be here for too long."
"Did he get hurt on a mission?" Joey asked, looking directly at his older brother, his face filled with concern.
"Yeah, he just made a bit of a mistake, slammed his head into some shipping containers," Ravager said, looking back at me. "But don't worry, he'll make it, he just needs some rest, and a new tooth."
"You lost a tooth?" Joey signed frantically, looking at me with those big eyes of his.
"Yeah, but It's no big deal," I said, leaning back against the wall. "I'll be out of here in a few days, no problem."
"Good," The blonde boy signed, leaning back in his bead, exposing the pale skin of the scar across his throat.
"Yeah…" I said, looking back up at Grant who had taken his helmet off and was now sitting on the single chair that had been placed at the foot of both of the beds.
"Yeah…" he replied, staring back at me with his intense brown eyes, the same thoughts going through his head as mine.
'This is all my fault…'
AN: Well that started as a fun chapter with slight homosexual implications, and ended really fucking sad. I'd like to apologize to everyone for that, but hey, at least Grant and Dick are friends again. As always, thanks for reading, and please review, it really helps me.
