I haven't updated in a very long time but finally had the chance to read over this monstrosity...seriously eww. So I re-wrote some of it to make it better.

Smurfette sat up on a grey boulder, watching the sun rise in the early morning. The tip of the big round sun burst through the tops of the trees igniting they sky with bright orange rays. It had been almost three days since she was transformed into a human sized smurf and she was getting tired of hiding out in the forest away from the Smurf Village. Sure she got visits from the rest of the smurfs like Handy and Brainy but mostly Clumsy, but she was getting lonely and sick of the same scenery. Smurfette was convinced there was something out here lurking in the forest and once or twice she was sure she saw black eyes hiding behind bushes and fierce rustling when her back was turned. It was as if something or someone was watching her. Then the rustling sound began again, even louder than usual this time causing panic to rise up in Smurfette.

"Who's there?" she called.

"Whoa." The muffled voice yelled. Then Clumsy burst out of the bushes tangled in a net of some sort.

"What the?" Smurfette asked out loud. "Clumsy Smurf! What ARE you doing? You nearly gave me a smurfattack!" Clumsy smurf looked down at his shoes sheepishly.

"Sorry Smurfette... I was just trying to get lots of smurfberries to give to you but I got caught in a net and dropped all of them, then I tripped over a log... and well here I am.

"Oh Clumsy! You silly smurf I'm fine I don't want any smurfberries." Smurfette lied. At that moment her stomach growled softly. She shifted her position so best to hide the grumbles so Clumsy didn't hear. Clumsy stayed with Smurfette all day till the sun was about to go down.

"I better go Smurfette, or I'll lose my way." Smurfette agreed.

"Go on, I'll be fine, I don't mind the dark." The truth was she did, she hated, loathed it even. It always felt as if someone was watching her.

Smurfette sat at the edge of the lake, her feet swirling around in the cold water. She exhaled and swung her legs out of the water. Smurfette lay on het back, her third day of being a human sized smurf was over, and she didn't know if she could take it anymore. She closed her eyes and as she was about to fall asleep the sound of a twig snapping erupted in the still air. The bushes rustled and Smurfette jumped up onto the boulder holding a branch out in front of her.

"W-who's there?" she asked her voice shaking. The bushes rustled furiously and a hooded figure stepped out of the shadows.

Papa smurf had stayed up all nigh for three days trying to find a cure for Smurfette but as the days stretched on he became less and less hopeful. "Oh smurfs! Will I ever find a cure?"

"Gargamel! Oh smurf!" Smurfette gasped.

"Don't fret my dear; I'm not going to hurt you..." Gargamel said but his voice trailed off as if he was thinking. "I bought you some food." He said producing two crimson apples.

"NO! I don't want them! You probably poisoned them so you can get my smurf-essence" she said taking several steps backward. Gargamel stepped forward two steps.

"They are not poison, trust me." He said trying to keep his voice different and somewhat comforting to lure in the oversized smurf.

"No! Go away!" Smurfette said waving the branch fiercely. Gargamel returned the apples to his pocket and put his hands up in fake reassurance.

"Fine, I'm going, I'm going." He said and slowly backed up and disappeared into the shadows.

Seven days, a whole week has passed since Smurfette was transformed into a human sized smurf. Seven days of hanging out with Grouchy, Clumsy, Gutsy, Greedy and Brainy to pass the time and seven nights filled with the most painful feeling Smurfette had ever felt, a feeling that felt familiar. Was this similar to the loneliness she felt after her creation? The segregation of the reals smurfs and her, the fake. Being alone over the past week had got her thinking.

Smurfette was beginning to lose hope of getting cured as Papa Smurf hadn't found anything yet.

"I'm not even sure why such a potion was in my lab. I don't remember making any of that sort!" Papa Smurf said when Smurfette asked him if he could make the potion but using the opposite things. "I don't think reversing the ingredients will help, but we can try!"

Smurfette hid a worried frown and snacked on some smurfberries but since they were so small she was hardly ever full.

Gargamel refused to give up, visiting her at the same time each night. Each time her offered her a delicious looking red apple. Smurfette, being so hungry was finding it harder and harder to resist. He had it in mind that he would make her trust him and just when she did he would steal her smurf essence!

Gargamel sat fuming in an arm chair by the fire in his castle.

"Why won't she take the apple Azrael?" He shouted. Azrael sat by the fire flicking his tail impatiently.

"Meow!" He wailed. "Meow!"

"Yes, yes, yes I'll feed you later!" Gargamel shouted. "I need to find some potion that makes me look younger so Smurfette will trust me! I need the smurf essence for my magic!"

Azrael's head snapped up to look at Gargamel with a disapproving look. Probably angry that he didn't get to eat the smurfs instead.

Gargamel stayed up well into the night studying all of his magic spell books to find what he needed and just as the clock struck three o'clock in the morning he found it!

"YES!" He bellowed, jumping up and down on the spot.

He quickly gathered what he needed and with high spirits he set to work.

He was finished by the time it was lunch time and he stood grasping the bottle of amber liquid with a triumphant look on his face.

He guzzled the whole vile concoction and the effect quickly took place. His face filled and became less wrinkly, his skin turned golden brown and softened. His eyes turned lighter and his hair grew out and became soft, wavy and down to his shoulders. His long thin arms toned and became strong.

Gargamel let out a loud laugh with his head thrown back in happiness and a grin plastered on his face.

"Azrael! I did it!" Gargamel shouted. Azrael padded up to him, sniffed him curiously and them meowed.

"It's me Azrael! It Gargamel! It worked!" He laughed hysterically for a few moments. "Now I can steal all of the smurf essence I need!"
