A/N: Sorry about the long wait. I work at a resort city and work has been crazy with the holiday. I hope you enjoy this chapter
"Oh, umm hi. My name is Ella Montgomery, I'm a colleague of Ezra's. Is he around. I have a question to ask him about the spring musical"
Shit. Aria quickly hit the mute button on the phone so that Ella wouldn't be able to hear her side of the phone. Aria quickly shook Ezra's body that was entangled within hers.
"Ezra!" She whispered hurriedly. He stirred briefly. He moaned and scrunched up his face into a pout.
"Ezra!" She yelled this time. He didn't understand the severity of the situation. He needed to get on the phone now before her mom began to suspect anything. He groaned again but made no other attempts at communication. Aria had never had to wake Ezra up before. On the rare occasion when Aria and Ezra could spend the night together, he had always been the first one up. Perhaps last nights activities had worn him out. He sure as hell had worn her out. returning her thoughts to the situation at hand, Aria noted that clearly, shaking him wasn't going to cause him to wake up. Getting panicked, Aria raised her hand and slapped Ezra square on his naked chest. His eyes automatically shot open and he gasped in pain.
"What?!" He said angrily. He looked around the room for a potential threat.
"My mom's on the phone!" Aria told him tensely. Ezra looked at her in annoyance.
"Well don't tell her your here" he grumbled out before untangling his legs with Aria's and turning her back towards her burying his head in the pillow.
"No, Ezra!" Aria grabbed his arm and turned him back around, "your phone! She's calling your phone Ezra."
Any trace of annoyance left Ezra's features as the news Aria had delivered sank in. He sat up on the bed. The comforter that was before covering his body slid down and pooled around his hips leaving his toned chest exposed.
"W- what?" He questioned, Aria noticed the way his eyes darted around nervously, "she's on the phone right now?!" He whispered tensely. Aria only nodded and handed Ezra his phone. He noticed it was on mute and thanked God that it was. He couldn't even imagine the trouble that they would have gotten into if anyone had overheard the couples conversation. "D-does she know your here? What does she want?"
"She asked something about the spring musical or something. I don't think she knows."
"Okay, good," Ezra took a deep breath to compose himself. He quickly pressed the mute key again and raised the phone up to his ear, "Ella? Hey, it's Ezra Fitz." Ezra tried to keep his voice as light and friendly as possible.
"Oh hi, Ezra!" Ella greeted pleasantly, "Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you! It's 10:30, I thought you would've been up by now but I guess not!" She laughed and Ezra laughed as well although his was much more forced. Aria looked up at him curiously, wanting to know what was going on. Ezra moved his free hand to lightly caress her thigh through the thin bed sheet as a sign of comfort.
"So, um, you had a question?" Ezra asked after a moment of silence. He tried to keep his voice even to hide the fact from Ella that he was currently lying naked next to her teenage daughter, also naked, who he had just taken the virginity of hours ago.
"Oh yes! As you know the spring musical has in the past years been organized by the drama department. However, yesterday, Corrie, the head of the drama department, called me and wanted to know if we wanted to join forces and have the English department join in on the project. Marsha Welch already agreed to help out, but I was wondering if you would like to as well."
"Um, wow, that's a big commitment. I would really love to and I'm very interested but I might need some, um, time to think it over," Ezra stated. He had done theatre when he was in high school and a bit when he was in college but had never done anything sense. He thought directing a show would be extremely fun. Especially, if Aria were in it, then they would have an excuse to hang out outside of school. They could out for coffee under the pretense of 'helping with lines'. She could go over to his apartment to help him 'design the set' or ''work on music'. At the cast party they could drink together, he could be with her while she was with her friends. Ezra realized that he was getting extremely ahead of himself, he hadn't even officially signed up to help.
"Ezra?" Ella asked on the other line. He had gotten so lost in his fantasies he had completely missed what Ella had just asked him.
"Sorry, Ella, can you repeat that?" He heard her laugh and he had to chuckle as well. Aria took his hand that was skimming her thigh and entangled her hand in his. She looked nervously up at him. Ezra smiled down lovingly at her and squeezed her hand. Aria smiled back up at him and kissed his wrist. He seemed to be calm enough that Aria could conclude that they weren't in any imminent danger of being discovered.
"I asked if you would want to come over for dinner tonight, Marsha and Corrie are coming over to discuss the show and I was thinking you could just sit in and see if the show is something that you would want to help out with."
"You know what, Ella? That sounds perfect." Ezra said excitedly.
"Great! Dinner is at 6:30! And uh Ezra was that your girlfriend who answered the phone" Ella inquired. Ezra felt his heart skip a beat trying to think of all the possible reason she could be asking that questions, all of them being bad.
"Uh, yes," He finally answered. He swallowed nervously. He decided that honesty was the best policy at this point, also he couldn't think of a good lie. Saying that it was his mom or his cousin would probably raise more questions.
"Oh, well she's welcome to come to dinner as well! I would love to meet her."
"Oh, umm, she already has plans. Maybe next time," Ezra awkwardly stated. He could feel Aria staring up at him, her big doe eyes seeking answers. Ella and Ezra quickly exchanged their goodbyes and Ezra quickly hung up the phone and released a huge breath he had been holding. He sunk down in bed until his head rested right next to Aria's he looked over at her and kissed her deeply, "That was the most stressful phone call I've ever had the misfortune of being apart of" Ezra said with a smile on his lips.
"Yeah, well at least you at least knew what was going on! I still have no idea what you two talked about," Aria pointed out she snuggled in closer to him and lightly kissed his nose. "I'm assuming she doesn't know I'm here by the lack of making out and/or drinking?"
"What do you mean?" Confusion clouded his features.
"Whenever you get upset you either end up getting drunk or passionately throwing me on your bed," she paused and removed her arm from underneath the covers and let her hand stroke his hair moving aside the little fringe in the front that would always fall down and cover his eyes. Ezra sighed and moved closer to Aria so that their chest were against each other, her head resting on his chest. They rested in comfortable silence for a while, relishing in the quiet moment they could share together.
"Not exactly the 'morning after' I imagined but I like this just as much" Ezra spoke softly. His one hand traced down the curves of Aria's body.
He felt her nod against his chest and then in a small voice she asked quietly, "Was it good for you?"
Ezra pulled back just enough so he could look down at her and lock gazes with each other, "Aria, you have no idea how amazing last night was," he said reassuringly. Aria smiled up at him softly and languidly attached her lips to his.
"Why are you asking?" He questioned, "it was good for you too, right? I mean I wasn't too rough, was I? I-I tried to be gentle. It seemed like you enjoyed it but I know that losing-"
"No, Ezra!" Aria cut in, effectively stopping his rambling, "You were... It was... Gooooood" Aria said stretching out the o's to really emphasize to him how great last night felt. She really couldn't think of a word to describe how mind blowing and fantastic last night was. Ezra looked down at her and smiled cheekily.
"Did I rock your world, baby? he asked with a deepened voice. He winked at her and started planting light kisses on her jaw.
She laughed at his silliness, "You rocked the bed, that's for sure," she said giggling. His kisses moved to her ear and he bit down on her earlobe.
"Call me Mr. Flintstone, I can make your bed rock," he sang in her ear before sticking his tongue in her ear.
"Ezra!" Aria squealed and pushed him off her, laughing as she did, "ow, don't apmake me laugh!" She whined.
"Why?" He asked perplexed.
Aria looked down not meeting his gaze, "because I'm sore and it hurts to laugh."
"Want me to kiss it an make it better?" Ezra said sweetly, Aria let out a laugh and shook her head and removed the covers from her body as she moved off the bed.
"Not right now. I need a shower," Aria answered as she walked into the bathroom. Aria left the bathroom door propped open slightly and Ezra could hear the sound of the shower being turned on. He imagined how Aria would look as her naked would glisten and shine underneath the water droplets falling from the shower head. Oh the things he would do with her delicious body that sadly they didn't have enough time for the night before. Ezra contemplated going in there in joining her, but he hadn't been invited and he didn't wan to impose on her if she wanted to have some alone time.
"Hey, Mr. Flintstone," Aria called from the bathroom doorway, a smirk on her face, "are you joining me or not?"
Aria turned around and retreated to the bathroom not waiting for a response, missing the elated smile that graced Ezra's features as he tore the covers from his body and ran to join his girlfriend in the shower.
Both freshly showered, Aria and Ezra returned to Rosewood. Ezra had dropped Aria off at Spencer's with one long parting kiss in his car which definitely raised some teasing and laughs from the girls.
"So does Mr. Fitz always give you a mammogram when you guys kiss or...?" Spencer asked with a devilish grin from her desk chair as Aria walked into her room where Hanna and Emily were also seated.
"More importantly," Hanna said cutting in from her position lying on her stomach on Spencer's bed, "I would just like to point out that the amount of tongue that man uses when he kisses is alarming. Remind me not to share a drink with you again."
"Like you and Caleb are such saints," Aria shot back defensively, "I bet half the of the saliva in your mouth isn't even yours!"
"She has a point," Emily added from the chair next to Spencer. Hanna shot her a dirty look and the girls commenced into a fit of laughs.
"So, how was it?" Emily interrogated, as soon as Aria put her bags down and sat at the foot of Spencer's bed.
Aria immediately felt herself smile as she remembered the events from the weekend. Even though only hours ago Aria was with Ezra in the heart of The Big Apple, it felt like a lifetime away. "Oh god, it was amazing," She said in a trance, "we went to dinner and spent in hour in Soho and walked around time square and the musical was phenomenal! The amount of talent that was in that stage. There was this part when the guy who played Angel-"
"Just fast forward to the part where you and Fitzy did it," Hanna said cutting in. Spencer and Emily began to laugh when they saw the look on Aria's face.
"Hanna!" Aria scolded as she starred at her in shock. Although she shouldn't be that surprised, it was Hanna after all.
"I told you about Caleb and mines first time!" She answered defensively.
"Unfortunately," Spencer muttered. Hanna had described the event in great detail down to the color of Caleb's boxers to how long he had lasted.
"No one asked you to share!" Aria retorted.
"You know Hanna, there is a such thing as sharing too much," Emily said with a wink. Hanna rolled her eyes and tossed a pillow in Emily's face.
"It was amazing," Aria confessed, all the girls looked at her and squealed happily, "Ezra is just... Wow. He's amazing," Aria finished with a smile. She still couldn't find the right words to describe the previous night.
"If you say that it was magical I'm going to barf," Spencer said negatively from her chair.
"You know, I don't know why people say that it's magical," Hanna chimed in, "I mean yeah it feels good and there's this whole intimacy thing but in reality it's pretty awkward because like you have to figure out what things go where and-"
"Is that really that complicated for you and Caleb?" Emily questioned.
Hanna rolled her eyes and continued, "You know what I mean! You have to, like, discover what feels good and you need to, like, learn the others bodies and stuff."
"I get what your saying, but, yeah, Ezra doesn't really have that problem," Aria said. Even though she didn't like to dwell on the fact, Aria was aware that Ezra had been with other girls in the past and he was very well versed in how to make a girls body feel good. Something which she appreciated last night especially.
"Do you ever feel intimidated by the fact he's done so much more than you?" Emily pondered.
"Like, sexually?" Aria asked. She thought it would be embarrassing telling her friends, that she would feel uncomfortable, but surprisingly enough she enjoyed the conversation they were having. That being said, if Hanna was looking for all the juicy details, she would be sadly disappointed. Emily nodded her head in answer to Aria's clarification.
"Not really," she answered honestly. Aria looked down at her hands and began to fidget with her rings, "I asked if it was good for him and he said it was, I mean we did it three times so I'm assuming he enjoyed himself."
"Three?" Spencer asked incredulously.
"Is he even a human?!" Hanna yelled, "doesn't he need time to, i don't know, recover?!"
Spencer and Emily burst out with laughter. They're heads snapped towards Aria eagerly waiting her response.
"We cuddled in between! It wasn't just like rapid fire. He isn't Superman," Aria argued. Spencer and Emily whipped their heads back towards Hanna waiting to see how the blonde would respond.
"But ooooh, imagine Fitsy in only a pair of tights and a cape," Hanna said longingly. Like watching an intense game of tennis, Emily and Spencer moved their gazes back towards Aria. It was no secret that Aria was the jealous type. They had all witnessed the Simone incident and of course the Jackie incident. They knew that when students would try an flirt with Mr. Fitz it rarely bothered Aria but they wondered how she would react when the student that was 'crushing' on Fitz was her best friend.
"Yeah, well imagine him without the cape or the tights," Aria smiled wickedly and winked at Hanna's shocked expression.
"You know, I bet Fitz would have a really nice butt," Spencer wondered aloud, deep in thought.
All the girls turned and laughed y her statement, Aria included.
"If you guys are finished objectifying my boyfriend I think I'll be leaving," Aria said standing up and picking up her bag.
"Leaving so soon?" Emily asked confused.
"Yeah, I really only stopped by to pick up my car. My mom is having a big family dinner tonight with some of the faculty so I should go help her set up," Aria explained as she moved around the room to give the three girls departing hugs, "I'll see you guys soon! Thanks again so much Spence for covering for me. I owe you big time!"
"Yeah, yeah," Spencer said with a smile, "I'll just put it on your tab."
"Hey, Aria! Can you get the door please?" Aria heard her mom call from downstairs. Aria had arrived at her mom's house about an hour ago and was put to work as soon as she arrived. Vegetables were chopped, sauces were stirred, placemats were set, and a whole big mess was made. The festivities in the kitchen had quieted down and Ella had dismissed Aria to wash up, letting her know that some of her colleagues would also be present for dinner. Aria never enjoyed these awkward dinners when she would encounter her teachers outside of school. It was bad enough to have to deal with them in school.
Aria looked up from her Chemistry textbook and over to her laptop. It was 6:00, her mom told her that dinner would be at 7:00 and people wouldn't start arriving until 6:30. Perplexed, Aria rolled out of bed and made her way down the hall to go and get the door. As she walked, the sweatshirt she was wearing slid down to rest around her mid-thighs. It was Ezra's Hollis sweatshirt. It was always fairly difficult to go long periods of time without seeing Ezra, so Aria had kept his sweatshirt in hopes that his smell combined with the soft fabric would help ease the lonely nights spent away from him. Even though she was in his company mere hours before, ever since last night when they crossed that line, a minute without him seemed unbearable. Aria hoped that her Mom would just think the worn out sweatshirt belonged to Byron. As she approached the door, a vibration from her phone which was wedged in the pocket of her jean shorts, alerted her to a new text message. She pulled her phone out as she reached for the door. Blindly, she unlocked the door as she read the text message from Hanna how was trying to plan their next shopping trip. Aria moved her gaze from her phone to the door to see who was there. When she looked up her eyes met the too familiar pair belonging to Ezra. Without thinking, Aria pushed against Ezra's chest sending him tumbling back away from the door. Aria quickly slipped out the door and closed it silently behind her leaving her and Ezra outside her mother's front door.
"What are you doing here?" Aria whispered frantically toward Ezra. The confusion in his eyes disappeared and was replaced by a joking gleam.
"I can't just stop by and tell my beautiful girlfriend how much I love her?" Ezra asked softly. The sincerity of his deep voice was betrayed by the devilish grin on his face.
"No!" Aria snapped back. She looked around the hallway making sure that they were out of peering eyes before whispering back, "Look, I love you, but you need to leave. My mom and my brother are inside," Aria pleaded. She quickly reached out and placed her hand on his cheek, "I'll try and see if I can spend the night at your place, but it's really bad for you to be seen here right now because my mom is hosting this dinner with a bunch of the faculty members from school," Aria explained quickly to him in a rush.
"I know," Ezra said with a smile, "I was invited."
"W-what?" The wheels started turning in Aria's head until she realized that Ezra really wasn't here to see her, he was here for the dinner with the rest of her mom's colleagues. Aria suddenly punched Ezra in the arm in anger, "You're such an ass! Why didn't you tell me that before I entered cardiac arrest seeing you here at the doorstep!"
Ezra rubbed the spot on his arm where Aria had punched him, "Ow, that hurt!"
Aria rolled her eyes at him and kissed him lightly on the lips, "Get over it," She whispered to him before winking at him. Ezra laughed at the smile that was on her face. She moved away from him and reached back to the door of her mother's new house that she had moved into once her and Byron split. Ezra followed Aria as she opened the door and entered the house. They made sure to keep a good 5 feet distance between them at all times, as to lessen the temptation to touch each other. As Aria and Ezra walked side by side she glanced over at him, as if feeling her stare he met her gaze and gave her a heart warming smile. Not touching him was better said then done, Aria decided. As they entered the kitchen they saw Ella pulling out what appeared to be a tray of lasagna and placing it on the counter to cool.
"Do you need any help with that, Ella?" Ezra said with a friendly smile as he hurried over to help Ella with juggling the many bowls of food she had just picked up. Ezra grabbed the bowl of chips and the container of salsa from her, along with a bowl of fruit, leaving Ella with a vegetable tray and cheese and crackers.
"Where am I taking this?" He asked politely.
"Oh, if you'll just set it down on the table over there, it'll be greatly appreciated," Ella replied with a thankful smile. Ezra moved over to the table that Ella indicated and began to set the trays of food up. Ella followed him over and set the remaining food on the table, "I don't know why I just didn't buy all the food instead of trying to make it myself," Ella joked.
"Everything looks great, Ella," he complimented. Aria observed how charming her boyfriend really was, "So where's, everybody else?" Ezra asked as he observed the empty kitchen and dining room, "It's starts at 6:00, right?"
"Oh you know, I think I did tell you 6:00, I meant 6:30. I'm sorry, Ezra. You know, why doesn't Aria give you a tour of the place while I finish setting up the food?" Ella suggested, she gave Aria a pointed look telling her that she needs to do this, as if Aria would have any objections to getting Ezra alone in her room.
"Yeah of course," Aria agreed, "um, follow me, Mr. Fitz," she said awkwardly.
As they walked up the stairs Ezra was right behind her so that her back was against his chest. He leaned down slightly and whispered in her ear, "I think she believed the awkward vibe between us."
Aria smiled to herself, "I think she was too busy being charmed by you," she whispered back. Ezra wrapped his arms around her waist but Aria quickly swatted them off, "not yet."
Ezra dropped his arms and kept more distance between them. As they rounded the top of the stairs Aria noticed that the door to Mike's room was open. Aria knocked lightly and walked into his room. Mike was lying in bed in the dark with headphones in playing video games on his laptop.
"Hey Mike," Mike looked over took off his headphones.
"What?" he asked annoyed, his gaze never leaving his computer.
"Mom wants you to help set up," Aria said, Mike loudly sighed in annoyance and threw off his covers as he got out of bed, "You don't have to be such a diva," Aria commented.
Mike stopped in the door way and gave Aria a once over look, "You've got hickey on your neck," he said coldly before storming out. Aria's hand went to cover her neck.
"Someone isn't in a good mood," Ezra commented dryly. Aria took the short walk to her room and Ezra followed her. When they entered Aria locked the door and went over to her mirror to examine her neck. Ezra immediately headed to the bookcase that lined her walls and began to look through her books. Aria pulled down the neckline of her sweatshirt and noticed that Mike had been nice when he only mentioned one hickey on her neck. In actuality Ezra had colored her neck with many dark hickeys.
"Fucking, Ezra," She cursed under her breath as she pulled out her foundation and began to try and cover the marks.
"Sorry?" Ezra asked, having not heard her. He turned around from the book shelf to see Aria aggressively rubbing make up on her neck.
"I don't appreciate the artwork you left on my neck," Aria told him.
Ezra looked at her confused, "What are you accusing me of doing to your neck?"
"Leaving a shit ton of hickeys," Aria stated, Ezra laughed and smiled proudly.
"Guilty," he said with a wink and moved on to looking at other things in her room. Aria watched him from the reflection in the mirror. She watched as he took in the walls of her bedroom. He stopped at her bed and examined the suitcase that lying on top of it. It was the same suitcase that she had taken with her to New York. Ezra started leafing threw her clothes. Just as Aria had finished covering her neck she heard Ezra behind her make an audible groan full of lust which immediately had the effect of turning Aria on completely.
"Watcha got there?" She asked with a smile, already guessing what Ezra had found. He turned around and wrapped around his hand was the sheer lace black thong that she had worn the night before.
"Why didn't you wear this?" He asked never leaving his eyes from the pieces of fabric twined around his fingers. Aria got up and sauntered over to him. She pressed her body against his and intertwined their fingers together.
"I did," she whispered coyly against his lips, "however, someone was a little eager last night and ripped them off right along with my pants." Ezra looked down at her frustrated before joining their lips together. He detached their hands and moved his hand down to feel her ass. Aria pushed him down on her bed, careful to avoid the suitcase. She climbed on top of him and giggled at the expression on his face. She ran her hand down his chest and rested them on his belt. Ezra closed his eyes and tried to control his breathing as Aria shifted her hips slightly applying friction on his groin. He moaned and she smiled wickedly, Ezra was completely at her mercy.
"How fast do you think-"
"Hey Aria? Ezra? Can you get the door?" Aria quickly climbed off of him at the sound of her mother's voice across the house. Ezra sat up and ran his hand through his hair and cleared his throat. Aria reached over and quickly rubbed off her lip gloss that had been left on Ezra's lips. Aria made her way towards the door but Ezra remained sitting on her bed. Aria looked back at him as he tucked his shirt into his pants.
"Coming, Mr. Fitz?" She said with a wink. He looked up at her and smiled brightly.
"Please please please, stay the night," Ezra begged her. Aria smiled at him before exiting her room and going downstairs to get the door.
