A.N.: Hiyyaa Guys!! I've FINALLY got over my massive Writers Block!! YAY!!

Merlin frowned, reading Arthur's letter yet again, just to make sure he was reading it right. He hadn't sent him a dream, but he had dreamt that he had. Confused, but silently praying that he had sub-consciously sent the dream, he prepared to meet Arthur, packing a little food and telling Gaius that Arthur needed him for something. How could i send something without trying? he thought, sighing. He had no idea whether he had sent a dream or not, but he prayed he had.

Just before dusk, Merlin set out for the west tower, smiling slightly. He was hurt that Morgana had betrayed him, but his feelings for Arthur had never left, he had just buried them deep down so Arthur could be happy. But hearing that Lancelot had betrayed him, that must've hurt Arthur so Merlin had let his feelings return, and this time they came back stronger, and less likely to ever go away. When he got to the top of the staircase, he took a deep breath, suddenly feeling really nervous. Why would Arthur love him? He was a servant, nothing more. As he climbed through the trap door and onto the roof, he gasped; there were candles set in a circle, and a blanket had been laid out in the middle of the tower. Arthur was stood with his back to Merlin, looking out over Camelot. He turned round as Merlin walked up to him, smiling. "I'm glad you're here tonight, Merlin. There are some things i wanted to talk to you about. Sit down, there's food for us, although I just needed to ask one thing before we eat." He said, looking slightly nervous. "Are you a sorcerer?" gasping, Merlin nodded slowly, before sitting down on a cushion at the edge of the blanket. Oh god, please don't hate me! He thought, terrified that Arthur would abandon him then and there. Arthur just stood there gaping for a few seconds before sitting opposite Merlin. To be honest, it all made sense to Him. There had been times where Merlin had saved Arthur's life, but no one really knew how. Now it made sense; Merlin had used Magic to save him. Arthur smiled at Merlin. "You know Merlin; lots of things just made sense. I understand how you saved my life so many times. I always used to wonder about that. Especially how you could've knocked me out without help." He said, still smiling. He gestured to Merlin that he should start eating, and Merlin tucked into the well-made food of the royal kitchens, his feeble bad of bread and cheese forgotten at the top of the stairs. "Thank you for the food sire, but you said you wanted to talk to me?" Merlin said, looking quizzingly at the prince. "Merlin, how many times must I tell you? When we are speaking in private you may call me Arthur." he said, looking at Merlin in a strange way. Merlin nodded, looking slightly worried. "Sorry Arthur" he said, apologising for his mistake. The Prince got up and moved so he was sat next to Merlin, their thighs almost touching. Merlin shifted uncertainly, not sure how to react. Arthur smiled and produced a bottle of wine and two glasses. He poured them both a glass of wine and relaxed against the side of the tower, looking up at the stars. Merlin sighed, sitting next to his Prince, a question forming on his tongue, and rushing out before Merlin could stop it.

"Arthur, would you care if I was gay?" he asked, surprising himself and the Prince. Arthur turned his head, looking at Merlin in a puzzled look. He shook his head, wondering why Merlin had asked. "No, of course not. Why? Are you?" The prince asked, inwardly praying. Please let him say yes! That would make my task tonight so much easier. Merlin blushed slightly, "No reason, i was just wondering" he said, a little too quickly, and the prince turned to look at him. "Don't lie Merlin. Are you?" he asked, as Merlin blushed crimson. Sighing, Arthur gave up on asking and quickly kissed Merlin, closing his eyes as he felt the softness of Merlin's lips on his. They both just sat there, not moving, and neither noticed as the trap door opened slightly and two pairs of eyes looked at the prince and his manservant.
