Yukiandkyo: Hey guys, I'm back with a new chapter. I'm actually really excited to start writing this story again. I have to admit, I lost interest in it for a long time but I'm definitely back in. Just a warning, this is the only one of my stories that doesn't have a written copy. It goes straight from being typed to being published, so please forgive any typos or grammatical errors. I'm currently looking for a Beta to help me with that, so if anyone is interested, please PM me. Anyways, on with the story.

"Danny, Danny, hey man, are you alright?" I bolted upright and looked at my best friend in confusion.

"Huh? What happened?" I looked around and found myself in the library at school.

"We were here studying for Lancer's test tomorrow and you just passed out. We were really worried about you man." Tucker said, worry lacing his voice. I looked at him and Sam, something about this seemed off. I shrugged it off, it was probably nothing.

"Sorry, I'm alright. It's probably because I was up so late last night studying for Mr, Davenport's math test."

"Oh yeah, that thing was brutal, I couldn't even figure out number 7." Tucker complained as he started to put his books away.

I shrugged as I put my on books in my backpack, "To be honest, I don't even remember the test. Today's just like a big blank to me." I looked up and saw my friends looking at me funny. "What?" I asked confused.

"Dude, you can't remember anything about today?" I shook my head, "That could be serious, did you hit your head in the bathroom or something?"

"You should go get yourself checked by the nurse. First you pass out and now you have amnesia?" Sam said, looking at me with her eyes filled with worry.

"I'm sure it's nothing Sam, maybe I'm just really tired, and that's why I can't remember anything." I said, trying to come up with an explanation.

"Well, maybe we can help you remember what happened by telling you what we've done today." I shrugged, it wouldn't hurt. "Let's see, we all met up at the front of the school after you were dropped off by your dad like we usually do. Umm, you were super embarrassed because your dad was doing who knows what and accidentally activated one of his ghost weapons which ended up splattering Dash with ecto goo. So you spent most of the time between arriving and first period were spent hiding from a very ticked off football team. Is this helping you at all?"

I scrunched my eyebrows together, thinking about everything Tucker told me. Something about it sounded familiar but other than that, it didn't help with anything. I shook my head, "Nope, sorry Tuck."

"Hmm, maybe Sam's right, it might be serious dude." Tucker finally responded.

"Meh, I'm sure it's no big deal, like I said, I'm just tired. I should probably head home for a nap though just to make sure. Let's go." I said as the bell rang and everyone started pouring out of the library.

"Alright, but we're heading straight to your house so you can get your rest." Sam said as we walked out of the library. I was about to argue with her but she fixed me with a glare so intense I felt like I had been caught doing something I shouldn't have.

I groaned and let my head droop, "Fine." We headed into the hallways and went straight towards our lockers. I opened my locker and pulled out some of my books. When I looked down at them however, I was confused. I wasn't able to read the title of the books. The words were all squiggly and blurry. I squinted at the book, trying to figure out what book it was. "Hey guys, what book is this?"

"That's your math book, dude, are you sure you're okay?" Tucker asked, looking really worried.

"I don't know, first I can't remember what happened today, I blackout, and now I can't read my books. Maybe I should go see the nurse."

"Yeah, that could be serious, let's go." I closed my locker and followed my friends through the hallway. As we walked through the hall my head slowly started to throb. The closer we got to the nurse's office, the more prominent my headache became. A few steps closer to the nurse's office and it felt like we were stepping into a refrigerator. A shiver ran up my spine and I let out a gasp as the pain in my head became too much.

~.~.~.

I bolted upright with a gasp, not noticing the blue mist that escaped my mouth as I did. I sat up, taking a few seconds to catch my breathe. After I recovered I looked around and found myself in the bedroom from earlier, my bedroom. What was I doing in here? Last thing I remember was that I was in a library and then…

A ghost! I was in the library, and a ghost attacked me, I remember now, and I had turned into one too, how was that possible? I'm still human right? I was so caught up in my thoughts I didn't notice when someone entered my room until they were standing right next to me and cleared their throat. I jumped slightly in surprise and turned to see Vlad, I blushed, a little embarrassed to be caught off guard so easily.

"I'm glad to see you're alright Daniel, you gave me quite a scare. What were you doing in my private study?" Vlad asked as he sat on the edge of my bed.

"I-I was exploring the house, like you said I could. I didn't know that you didn't want me in there, I'm sorry." I said as I looked down, ashamed.

"Nonsense Daniel. I said you could explore and I never said you couldn't go into any room, however, if you are interested in reading I have an actual library with a wider variety of books for you to choose from. Perhaps you'd find that more interesting than room full of either dusty old books or books full of very complicated subjects." I sheepishly nodded, agreeing with him. "Well, now that we have that settled, it's almost dinner time. Would you like to join me or would you rather eat here in your room?"

I thought for a second and decided, "I'll eat with you." He nodded and stood up, I swung my legs over the side and stood up, following him out of the room. As we walked down the hallway, I thought about what had ended the fight. The ghost had sent some sort of electro ball at me and it shocked me, but before he could do anything, someone had stopped him, Vlad.

"Vlad?" He paused and turned to me when I said his name, "When I was in the library, something attacked me, a kept talking about his employer and how this was his employer's house, when had almost knocked me out, he stopped, why?" I asked, trying to figure out what the heck was going on.

Vlad's eyes widened as he heard my question and he looked at me in shock. He opened his mouth, but quickly closed it again, looking like a fish for a second. "I-I really think we should eat first Daniel."

"I want to know what's going on, what if that ghost comes for me again? And whatever stopped him last time isn't around?" I asked, fear creeping into my voice.

:You won't have to worry about that Daniel, it won't happen again, I promise."

"How do you know that?" I asked. I gasped as a shiver ran up my spine and a blue mist escaped from my mouth. I looked around, was that ghost around again?"

"Daniel, please relax, you're beginning to worry me. How about this, I'll explain what that ghost was doing here and why he won't be bothering you after we eat dinner." I looked into his eyes and felt a wave of calm sweep over me. I took a deep breathe and let myself relax before nodding. "Perfect, now come on before the food gets cold."

Anyways, thank you so much for all the favorites, follows, and reviews. They really do inspire me to write more. Anyways, love it, hate it, just review it, buh-bye!
