On Friday, after some small interviews with Ministry officials they apparated to Forks in the late afternoon. Harry and Caleb were holding their kids. The sun was setting behind Blackpine Cottage just in time for bed. "Where are we dad?" asked Julian.
Harry smiled. "We're home."
"Home?" asked Caspian.
"Forks, it's the town where we live." said Paul.
They walked into the cottage. "Maybe we can turn one of the guest rooms into a bedroom for the kids." said Jacob.
"That's a good idea Jake." said Caleb.
Harry set Julian down. "Paul, Jake, why don't you show them around the house while we get their room ready?" The wolves took their sons into the house while Caleb and Harry walked upstairs.
They walked into the guest room just across the hall from both master bedrooms. "The room is big enough." said Harry.
"It has a nice view of the lake." Said Caleb. "And good fresh air."
Harry took out his wand and conjured up two full size beds with two night tables on both ends and one in between. Caleb painted the room was painted blue with murals of moving animals, deer, stags, rabbits, unicorns, elegant wolves, Pegasus, a clear lake with fish and beautiful marine life and a variety of colorful birds.
Harry enchanted the ceiling like the Great Hall to look like the night sky with a setting sun and small stars starting to shine. He also added some white curtains to the windows. "We'll have to get them clothes."
"I'll take care of that while you're at school." said Caleb.
"Urgh…I have to do homework and classwork." said Harry. "Remind me again why I signed up for muggle high school?"
"You had to blend in with the muggles…" said Caleb.
"Oh that's right I forgot." joked Harry.
The kids walked in with Jacob and Paul. All were amazed with the new room. "Wow…" said Jacob.
"This is great." said Paul.
Caspian looked around. "Is this my room Uncle Harry?"
Harry walked over and kneeled next to his nephew. "Yes, this is your room." said Harry. He gesture or Julian to walk over and the boy did, hugging his father. "Yours and your cousin Julians too. I want you both to love each other like brothers, take care of each other as brothers because we are a family."
The boys nodded and hugged each other. "Like this dad?" asked Julian.
"Just like that." said Harry.
Caleb kneeled down. "Together and united you are strong, love each other well. In each other you'll find a brother, a confidant in who you can always trust. Always be honest with each other. Just like Harry and me and just like your dads Paul and Jacob"
The two kids nodded. "We will." they promised.
Paul walked over. "Now boys, are you hungry?" They kids nodded a yes.
"Lets get something to eat." said Jacob. "Race you down?" The kids smiled as they rushed after Jacob down the stairs to the kitchen.
Around 2am the four parents were awakened. "What is that?' asked Caleb.
Paul woke up. "It's Caspian!" both jumped out of bed.
"Jacob!" said Harry. Jacob woke up. "Julian is screaming!" Running to the door they met Paul and Caleb in the hall and ran into their kids rooms.
Indeed, Caspian was crying and Julian was screaming. Caspian ran into Pauls arms while Jacob and Harry sat on both sides of Julians bed. Caleb pointed his wand to a stuffed bear and chanted. "VERAVERTO." Transfiguring the bear into a tea set. A small blue liquid vial smoked (appeared in a puff of blue smoke) into his hand. He added one single drop in each cup. "Julian." said Jacob.
"Baby wake up." said Harry. "It's just a dream…" Julian opened his eyes, he was sweating and shaking. He clutched onto his fathers tight.
"They wouldn't let me go!" cried Julian.
"They had me chained in ice cold water, it was dark grey and smelled like fire!" cried Caspian.
Caleb gave him a cup of tea. "Here kiddo. Drink this…" Harry turned to him. "Frigia charm…those bastards."
"What is the frigia charm?' asked Paul, hugging Caspian he wiped his tears.
"I'll tell you later." said Caleb. His voice was hard and angry. They felt the wind blow hard outside.
"Babe…" said Paul. "Control yourself…the kids." Caleb nodded and the wind died down.
"Th…they were slicing my fur off with knives, it hurt so much!" cried Julian.
Harry was in tears along with Jacob. "They will never touch you again." Harry kissed Julians forehead.
Paul walked over. "Julian…Have some tea, it'll calm you down." He gave the cup to Jacob.
"Y…yes Uncle Paul." asked Julian.
"Sip it carefully." said Jacob. "It's hot." Julian nodded. "Here, sit up on the headboard. It'll be easier."
Paul hugged Caspian as Caleb stood, hands on the windowsill, looking out the window, he was angry. "Why don't you guys try to get some sleep."
Harry nodded. "Uncle Paul is right." Julian had finished his tea. "Lets get you tucked in ok?"
Julian nodded. He turned to Jacob. "Dad, can you stay with me?"
Jacob looked at Harry. Harry smiled. "I have homework to do anyways."
Jacob got into bed and hugged his son. "I'll stay kid." He kissed his forehead.
"I'll stay with him Paul." said Caleb.
"Are you sure babe?" asked Paul. Caleb nodded and he leaned in and kissed the siren lovingly on the lip. "Love you." Caleb got into bed with Caspian.
Harry kissed Jacob on the head. "Thank you love."
"Love you Harry." said Jacob.
"Me too." said Harry giving his werewolf another peck on the head.
As Harry and Paul left the room they heard an angelic choir singing a soothing lullaby, it was smooth like a breeze. Thank Merlin for Caleb's powers, both Harry and Paul knew that music would help them all sleep. Paul went to his room, he was soon asleep, bewitched by his future husbands song. Harry put on his earphones an played on some Stevie Nicks on his iPod and sat down to do his homework.
Saturday morning Caleb, Jacob and Paul woke up around nine o clock. Paul walked into the kids bedroom, in a pair of black boxers, and saw both kids sleeping in one bed with Harry. He smiled walking over to shut the curtains and give them some more pillow time.
He took a shower and a while later he walked into the kitchen he met Jacob and Caleb, they were sitting at the kitchen table. Caleb was in a blue wizard lounge robe and Jacob was in some green boxers. The kitchen island had an arrangement of platters with fruits, breads, butters, jams as well as sausages and bacon. Jacob was eating some fruit sausages with bacon and orange juice. "Is there coffee?" asked Paul.
"I just brewed some." said Caleb, waving his cup. Paul grabbed a cup and poured himself a cup with some sugar and cream. "I'm sorry, but we don't have any eggs."
"We can go to the store later on today…" said Jacob. "…and get some."
"What are we going to do?" asked Paul. "These kids need help." Jacob nodded. "What did you give them last night? In their tea?"
"A dreamless sleep." said Caleb. "It's like sleeping in peaceful darkness, no dreams and no risks of nightmares."
"With just one drop?" asked Paul.
"Adults , being adults, can take a whole vial. But since they're kids, I gave them a single drop." said Caleb. "They were tired, so it's more than enough."
"We still need help." said Jacob. "Some therapy."
"I think Harry has a friend who studied Magical Psychology." said Caleb. "I'll tell him to call her and see if se can come." He looked at the time…9:30am. "Where is he?"
"I checked on him before I took a shower, he was sleeping with the kids." smiled Paul.
"Let him sleep another half hour." said Jacob. "We should be going in around an hour."
"Where to?" asked Caleb.
"I thought we could go see Billy and Victor." said Jacob. "So they can meet their grandchildren."
"I think that would be great." said Caleb.
"Plus, Jacob and I want to talk to our dads about something." said Paul.
"Ok." said Caleb.
Seth walked in. "Hi guys…" he looked at their tired faces. "rough night?"
"You could say that Seth." said Jacob.
"Is something wrong?" asked Seth.
"Yes and no." said Paul. "Sit down…"
Seth sat down. "What's up?" He looked around. "Where's Harry?"
"He's upstairs sleeping with the kids." said Jacob.
"Kids?" asked Seth. "What kids?"
"Our children." said Paul. "Caleb and I adopted a son, so did Jacob and Harry."
"What?!" said Seth. He was not expecting that. "You four are fathers? Two kids?"
"Yes." said Caleb. Paul walked over, stood behind him and put an arm on his shoulder. "We adopted them in the wizarding world, they were victims of terrible torture and abuse, they didn't want us to leave their side and we didn't have the heart to say no. We connected with them. Our son is a siren wizard like me, we named him Caspian."
Jacob smiled. "We adopted a werewolf wizard, his name is Julian."
Seth smiled. "And are you four ready to be parents?"
"No and yes." said Paul. "No we weren't planning it when we went. But we are sure when we did it and we are sure we love those kids with all our hearts."
"Then they'll be pack." said Seth. "Victor and Billy are at the Uley house."
"We'll meet them there today, we want them to meet their grandchildren." said Jacob.
"We'd like you and Leah there too." said Paul.
"Count on us." said Seth. "I think my mom, Sue Clearwater, would like to invite you all to dinner."
"Perfect, Luna will be here this afternoon so it'll be fine." said Caleb.
Seth smiled. "Cool! See you in a while." He walked out to the terrace, shifted to his wolf form and ran into the woods.
11:30am. Paul and Jacob drove the family over to the Uley House. "We'll go in first." said Jacob. The wizards nodded and they walked out towards the house.
"Who lives here dad?" asked Julian.
"Our friend Sam and his wife Emily." said Harry. "We're here so you can meet some people." He saw Julian stiffen. "They're friends Julian. Do you believe me?"
"I trust you dad." said Julian.
"Who are they?" asked Caspian.
"Your grandfathers." said Caleb. Caspian gave a small smile.
"We have grandfathers Uncle Caleb?" asked Julian.
Caleb nodded. "Yes. Would you feel comfortable meeting them. I promise you're safe. No one will harm you or your cousin Caspian."
Caspian looked at Julian, for leadership. Julian nodded so he decided to spea up or both of them. "Ok…"
"Aright…" said harry. "Lets go."
Jacob and Paul hugged their dads. "Tells us boys." said Victor. "How did it go?
"Everything good?" asked Billy.
"It went very well." said Jacob. "Harry and Caleb were amazing. They were trafficking children, wizards and magical creature like werewolves and centaurs, using them for illegal experiments. Many were left homeless and alone."
"How terrible!" said Sam.
"I hope they do find them a good home." said Billy.
Paul looked at Jacob. "I'm glad you said that dad…Because there's someone we want you to meet." Paul walked out and brought in Harry and Caleb. Victor and Billy saw the two kids. The kids looked around analyzing everything around them. Jacob took Julian in his arms. "Dad, this is Julian, your grandson…Julian Potter Black."
Billy was in shock. "Wha…What?!"
"You're not…?" asked Jacob.
"No." said Billy. He smiled. "I'm surprised, but ha…happy!"
Harry walked over to Jacob and patted Julian on the arm. "Julian…this is Billy, your grandfather."
"Hello." said Julian.
"Hi." said Billy.
Jacob hugged his son as he placed him on the floor. "Go hug your grandfather."
Julian walked over, cautious, but when he saw the love in Billys eyes he gave him a small smile allowing Billy to pick him up and put him on his lap.
"Dad…" said Paul. "This is our son Caspian."
Victor smiled. "Really?!"
"Caspian Cromwell Lahote." smiled Caleb.
"Come here my boy!" said Victor, opening his arms. Caspian looked at his parents who nodded lovingly, he saw Caleb wink at him. Feeling trust he walked over to Victor and the man picked him up hugging him tight.
After a few minutes, they were joined by Sam, Esme and Carlisle. "What's all the commotion?" asked Sam.
Billy looked up. "How is Emily?"
"What's wrong with Emily?" asked Harry.
Carlisle took over. "Emily is suffering from a bad flu. Many people are in intensive care at the hospital, lets hope she doesn't have the same thing" He closed his medical bag. "I took some blood for more tests."
"Is anyone else sick?" asked Paul.
"No." said Carlisle. "Esme came with me."
Esme smiled. "I brought her some crab stew from town. It'll do her good." She noticed the children. "Who are these angels?" The children smiled at her, it's impossible to not be scared of Esme given her warm motherly heart.
Harry smiled. "This is our son."
"Your son?" asked Esme.
Carlisle smiled. "He's handsome." Julian smiled at him. "What's his name?"
"Julian Potter Black." said Jacob.
Esme smiled. She looked at the boy in Victors arms. "And this little guy?"
"He's our son Caspian." said Caleb. "Caspian Cromwell Lahote."
"He's adorable." said Esme.
"So what about Emily?" asked Billy.
"I gave her some medication." said Carlisle. "If she isn't better in forty eight hours, I insist you take her to the hospital for more tests."
"Thank you Dr. Cullen." said Sam. He shook Carlisle's hand and escorted him and Esme to their car.
Driving back to Forks. Esme sighed. "Edward is not going to like this."
"No he's not." said Carlisle. He took his wifes hand as he drove down the road. "We must be strong for him."
***This was fun and moving. I wonder how they Carlisle and Esme are gonna break the news to Edward? How will Edward react when he sees Harry and Jacob with the kid? Is Emily's flu just a flu? … Hmm?
