G.U.N HQ.

Syeed and Flame stood in the headquarters of the Guardian Units of Nations, oherwise known as G.U.N. They were in a conversation with Abraham Tower, the Commander of G.U.N.

"So, let me get this straight..." Syeed said, looking up at Tower. "You call me here to get me to work with you? I told you before, I never have and never will work with the law. That's just not my style."

"LISTEN HERE!" Tower said, his tone aggressive. "We are being INVADED by aliens, and from what I heard, these aliens have telekinetic powers! Can't you break your ignorant rule just ONCE?!"

"But we don't need your help." Flame butted in. "Clearly, you need ours. And we don't want to give you our help. We've delt with things like this before. We've never needed G.U.N for anything as major as this."

Tower rubbed his temple, his face red in fustration. "Okay, whatever. I knew this was a bad idea. But...that's exactly why I had a backup plan."

"And what do you suppose that is, old geezer?" Syeed chimed back at Tower. In response to this, Tower shook his head at Syeed, walking over to a huge sliding door that read 'DO NOT ENTER'.

"If you wont work with us..maybe you'll work with some of your friends." Tower pressed a button, as the sliding doors hissed open. Syeed looked and saw two familiar faces.

Eli the Squirrel. An enviormentalist that Syeed met a few months ago.

Jawez the Echidna. A tough, quiet guy. Mostly keeps to himself and rides alone.

"HEY!" Eli shouted, wearing a G.U.N suit and armor. It appeared that Jawez neglected to wear the armor. When Syeed asked, Jawez simply stated that he was in it for the sweet reward he was getting.

Tower interrupted the reunion, coughing loudly. "Syeed, I'm guessing you already know these two. But they go by a different name under MY order. They go by...

...The Unstoppable Clock."

Green Forest, the outskirts of Central City.

Syeed, Eli, Flame, and Jawez walked in the Green Forest. A Banshee ship was reported to have crashed here. It may seem like it, but Syeed was not here working with G.U.N, although right now Eli and Jawez were technically G.U.N agents. Syeed was here to recover pieces of the ship for Strife to crack and examine. He was also here to help Flame, who he hadn't really talked to yet, so he didn't know exactly what he was helping Flame with. Syeed turned to his left and saw Jawez and Eli chatting it off. Syeed decided that he'd catch up on things later, right now he needed to know what was going on with Flame. Syeed slowed his walking pace a little, walking side by side with Flame.

"So uh, what exactly is it you needed help with?" Syeed said, looking over at Flame, who seemed lost in thought.

"My friend, Nitro. He was kidnapped by those...aliens." Flame said, still looking at the grass below them. "It's true. They have TK powers. They used it to weaken Nitro, who has PK powers. But...the TK they have is not the same TK we know...it's...different."

"Well, this whole race is different if you ask me. I mean, look at them, they're all AWKWARDLY skinny! Have they ever hit up the gy-"

Flame cut off Syeed before he could ramble on. "Yes, they are. But will you help me rescue Nitro?"

Syeed nodded in approval. "Yeah, sure. I'll help you. If he's not already dead."

The words stung Flame like a venom bite. "Yeah."

Syeed looked over at Flame. He had heard of Flame several times before, but this is his first time meeting him. Huh, no surprise that it takes an alien invasion to bring the heroes of the world together.

"Here it is!" Eli shouted, pointing to the crashed ship, which still seemed to be in fine condition despite the fire and smoke omitting from it. "Okay, so we need to go inside and examine the ship for The Commander." Eli's voice trailed off as he ran inside the ship, Jawez following behind him.

"I'll stick around outside." Flame said, nodding to Syeed. "If any of those alien freaks try to ambush us, I'll buy you guys some time."

Syeed nodded in return and walked inside the ship, looking around. He pressed a button and his exosuit covered his entire body. Strife spoke through the helmet.

"Okay! We're online! Now I just need you to walk around and scan stuff for me to see." Strife said as Syeed walked around the ship. "Jeez, these ships are pretty big." Strife said, attempting to get a good look. He spotted a round white shape. "That must be what they use to move around. But it's not a steering wheel...that ball must be a motion detecter that allows them to control the movement of the ship with their hands, without the need to touch anything. That's pretty cool..." Strife trailed on as Syeed walked around the room.

"All I'm hearing is nerdnerdnerdystuffthatIdontcareabout." Syeed chimed at Strife. "Can I stop walking around like a robot now?"

"No. Not quite...hey, what's that?" Through the helmet, Strife spotted a pod. Syeed walked over to the pod, touching it.

"I have no idea, but I'MMM SUREEEE you want me to risk my life to find out."

"Exactly, Syeed. Sit in the pod and find out what it is."

Syeed groaned, climbing in and sitting in the pod. Suddenly, everything went black. When the lights came back on, he found himself in the middle of a town. A town full of Banshees. Syeed's eyes darted up. He quickly sat back down in the pod and he found himself back in the ship. He stepped out of the pod, looking around. "What the hell was that?"

"I...I think it was a simulated world." Strife spoke through the helmet, coughing. "See, these Banshee guys miss their home world so much. So, my theory is that these pod serves as simulated realities to help them cope and remember the good times. Or, possibly..."

"Possibly what?"

"Possibly, that's where the surviving Banshee citizens are. The Banshees that are invading us might just simply be a military. It makes sense. To have them live in a simulated version of their world until they get the real thing again. Clever, might I add."

"Huh..you know what's shocking about all this...?" Syeed asked Strife.

"What?"

"That I don't give a damn. Oh, boo hoo, they lost their planet. Who cares? That doesn't mean take over another. Why don't they just live in that fake world forever?"

"I don't know, Syeed. But I do know one thing...I NEED that pod."

"Right. I'll get it to you..." Syeed spoke as he heard lots of noise and rumbling outside. "Shit, be right back." Syeed dashed out of the ship.

He found Eli, Jawez, and Flame fighting off some Banshees. Jawez slammed one of them into the ground, creating a huge hole in it's place. Eli was on a tree, firing the bullets of his AK onto the Banshees below. Flame had caught one of the Banshees in a ball of fire and watched it slowly burn to death. More Banshees closed in on Syeed. He started using his martial arts skills to fight some of them off, but began to get overpowered. Eli dropped down below and spindashed into some of the Banshees, clearing them off Syeed. Syeed got to his feet and nodded at Eli. They turned to Flame, who had burned a hole right through a Banshees stomach. "Tch." Flame said, watching as the Banshee fell to the ground. "Those bastards deserve the worse from me." Flame added. Syeed didn't usually kill, but for these aliens, he was pretty sure he'd have to. Syeed looked up and saw Strife coming down in a ship of his own, called the Twin Tails, but TT for short. It was one of Strife's smaller ships that he designed for about 6 people to fit in. Syeed wasn't surprised about how quick Strife got here, as the TT was pretty fast.

Strife landed and got out of the TT, dashing towards Syeed. "The pod? Is it safe?"

"Yeah, it's safe. It's right inside the ship." Syeed pointed at the Banshee ship.

Strife nodded and proceeded to run inside of the ship, with Eli following behind him.

Syeed looked over at Jawez and Flame, who were exchanging some words.

"Nah, I really don't care about G.U.N or their agenda. They offered me a swell prize, though." Jawez explained again. "But I'm also having fun squashing these aliens. It's light work."

"They kidnapped one of my friends, so I'm set out to find him." Flame replied. "How I intend to do that...I don't know."

"Well, you can start by questioning some of them instead of killing them." Jawez chuckled.

"You know how hard that is to do? But that's a fine idea. I'll make a mental note."

Strife came back out, carrying the pod with an assist from Eli. They carried it over to the TT and threw it inside, both of them climbing into the ship after.

"Hey, guys, we're getting a ride!" Eli shouted to Syeed, Jawez, and Flame.

Flame and Syeed shared a glance. Flame shook his head at Eli. "That's fine. We got what we came for. We have bigger things to attend to."

Jawez turned to Flame and Syeed. "Catch you guys around." Jawez made his way towards the TT and climbed inside. Flame and Syeed watched as the ship started up and took flight, soon disappearing in the distance. Syeed turned to Flame, holding his hand out.

"Alright...let's go save that Nitro guy."
