Zarge walked down an alleyway. Next to him was Alan, the mysterious fellow he just met. Zarge sighed. How the hell did he get himself involved with a person like this? It didn't matter. Strange alliances were the last thing to complain about during a time like this. Before Zarge emerged out onto the street, he was grabbed by Alan. Alan's claws almost pierced Zarge's skin.
"Wait." Alan said, pointing to the end of the street. Zarge could see prisoners being loaded into a Banshee ship.
Station Square.
"Well? What're we just standing here for?! Let's go save them!" Zarge whispered loudly.
"No. Let them get caught." Alan said in a calm tone.
"What...? Are you insane?"
"Are you?"
"Unlike YOU, I care about the people of Mobius. Not just myself."
"Hey, smart ass, how about you hear me out instead of jumping the gun."
"Yeah, and what exactly is there to 'hear out'?" Zarge's ton became more aggressive. Who the hell did this 'Alan' guy think he was?
"We follow the ship to figure out where they hold the prisoners. It could lead us to the Banshees hideout." Alan said, his expression unchanging.
Oh. That..actually wasn't a bad idea. Of course, Zarge didn't come out front and say that.
"Tch. Whatever." Zarge replied, watching as the ship flew away.
"Let's go." Alan chimed, spreading his wings out and launching into the air.
Zarge sighed, using his ice powers to create sort of a "hoverboard" and flew after Alan.
Station Square skies.
"So, uh, what's the plan when we get there? Attack them? We don't know how many of them are at this 'base', if there even is one." Zarge posed the question to Alan.
"Well, no. I suggest we gather more people and then attack. And I'm pretty sure there is a base, kiddo. Let the elders figure it out." Alan replied to Zarge, his tone growing a little more aggressive.
Zarge smirked. "Huh." How old was Alan anyway? It seemed futile to ask at this point.
"Banshees." Zarge heard Alan whisper.
"Where?" Zarge looked around. There he saw them. They were on some kind of...flying motorcycle. "Alright!" Zarge shouted, flying over to one of the Banshees and knocking them off. Zarge saw another Banshee and froze his vehicle in place, leaving the Banshee in mid air. Zarge saw a couple of more Banshees closing in on him and he created an ice tornado, sending it at the Banshees and destroying them.
Zarge continued this process for a minute or two, before realizing that even more Banshees were coming out of the wood works.
Zarge looked over. He saw Alan's wings grow wider. Freakishly wider. A dragon tail soon grew on Alan as well. He saw Alan breath fire all over the skies, taking out every single Banshee.
"Fuck this." Alan shouted, flying at the ship that they had been following. The last thing Zarge saw was Alan blasting a huge hole in the ship and crashing in.
Inside the Banshee ship.
Alan, enraged, walked through the Banshee ship. Guards attempted to come at him, but he blasted them away in seconds. He walked to the main control room of the ship, bursting the doors down. Alan spotted the Banshee who was flying the ship and stormed over to him, slamming his face into the control panel.
"ENOUGH WITH THE BULLSHIT! WHERE ARE YOU GUYS LOCATED?" Alan screamed, his eyes lighting up with fire.
The captain of the ship smirked, spitting at Alan. "Go to hell, Mobian scum."
"I'm a HUMAN!" Alan yelled, and in a rage he burned the Banshees left eye out with his fire breath. The captain screamed, holding where his eye used to be.
"You're CRAZY!" The man tried to run away, only for Alan's large tail to smack him back into the wall.
"You will bring me to the Banshee hideout. You will free these prisoners. And if you don't meet any of my demands...you will die. GOT IT?!" Alan's voice echoed.
Zarge walked into the room, looking around. He saw the Banshee on the floor and Alan standing over him.
Alan kicked the Banshee in the face, shouting again. "I ASKED A QUESTION...DO...YOU...UNDERSTAND?!"
The Banshee gulped, looking up at Alan.
"I do."
"GOOD!" Alan shouted, walking back at Zarge. "That's how you get shit done, kid."
"How long did it take you to figure that out?" Zarge said as he smirked at Alan.
He was met with a tail slap that sent him flying across the room. As Zarge's head smacked against the wall, he groaned out in pain. Alan walked over to him, looking down at him.
"Don't test me."
