Computers. Technology. Inventing. Planning. Building. Creating. This was Strife's life. His entire life, down here in his lab.

Strife's lab.

Strife's lab was located underneath the headquarters of the United Races. Syeed just referred to it as the 'basement', which Strife hated, because it's nothing like a basement. This is basically Strife's home. This is his life. He's spent countless hours down here, helping out in saving the world just from his chair. He's invented so much that he is almost 50 years ahead of everyone else in terms of technology. Sacred items that the public doesn't know about are right here in his lab.

A time machine. This time machine can travel both forward and backward at any point in time. Strife can remember the first time he made this; the prototype version. It took him about a week to figure out how to exactly build it and then a mere two days to build it. The prototype could only travel backward, but Strife soon managed to make it travel forward, as well. He's only used it a few times, most notably when a villain simply known as the 'Time Lord' attempted to erase Syeed from history. In other words, while the time machine is cool, it's also one of the most dangerous inventions of all time.

A 3-D printer. It could print and replicate just about anything. This is one of his inventions that Strife adored dearly. See, the 3-D printers the public has only lets them print out the small stuff. Strife is able to do more than that.

Another invention of Strife's was the United Races headquarters itself. He built it in just a mere 18 hours. What a lot of people didn't know is that it also served as a ship that could take flight through the skies, space, and wherever else. Whenever he, Syeed, and the rest of the gang went on intergalatic adventures, this was their go-to ship. For now, the United Races members who were travelling in space were using another ship built by Strife.

Then, there was Strifes exosuit. Well, he had two versions of it, really. One was right in his skin, which he could call at will and it would cover his entire body. He rarely ever used that one in case of emergency, though. There was also the one that hang in a pod next to Syeed's. Strifes suit was just like Syeed's; it was invincible, indestructible, and could survive just about anything. Strife never needed the exosuit though, as he was more fond of sitting behind his computer monitor and feeding Syeed information.

Strife sat in front of his computer, looking at the screen. He sighed, deep in thought. The Banshees were an interesting race. They were very intelligent, Strife thought as he looked to his right, where the pod he had recovered from the Banshee ship lay. They created a virtual reality as sort of a "backup" to their planet. Or, in other words, a real-life USB.

Strife hadn't really examined or touched the pod yet, as he was still pondering what exactly to do. Should he turn it in to G.U.N? He doesn't want to think what they'd do with it. He always saw them as irrational and crazy most of the time; but maybe the most logical choice would be to give it to them. Or...maybe he could keep it. Maybe he could tin-

Strife's thoughts were interrupted by a huge shake of the floor. He turned and saw Syeed enter the room, with Flame beside him. Syeed made his way over to Strife, as Flame took a few seconds to examine the lab.

"Buddy!" Syeed shouted, as he walked over to Strife with his usual grin. "We uh...just realized, we don't know WHERE these guys hold their prisoners."

Strife looked up at Syeed. It didn't take him more than a second to come up with a plan. "You're an actor. Have you tried playing the prisoner?"

"Oh, yeah." A blank expression crossed Syeed's face. "Playing the prisoner. But..where are the cameras and stuff? I can't play a role unless I...ya know, have it."

Strife sighed. Syeed, ACTING stupid as usual. He sat up and pointed up to the elevator that went back up to the headquarters. "Go."
