I grin at my dad as he falls over for the third time. My granddad stops and laughs as I adjust the straps on my backpack and climb upon a boulder. I look out over the mountain we were currently climbing and grin bigger at the view. My dad grumbles and wipes the dirt from his face and climbs up next to me.

"I'd love to live here" I smiled, looking at dad.

"Really?" he replies, smirking slightly. I nod and smile breathing in deep before jumping down off the boulder. I grin up at him then flinch slightly at the storm starting to roll over, I look up at my granddad who seems to be glaring at the sky. He sees me looking at him and gives a sort of supporting smile before walking ahead; further up mountain. I step forward, placing my foot stupidly on a loose rock, near the edge of the path. My foot slipped and I fell over the edge squealing as I tumbled down. I managed to correct my direction to a small ledge where I could come to a slow stop, hopefully. Luckily I did and I lay there breathing heavily as I coughed and rubbed mud off my face. I heard my dad and granddad calling my name, then felt the earth cover me. One of them must have jumped down, I slowly lift my self up and look at my dad.

"You good?" I nod and try to stand, wincing at the sound of a crack. I grab my dads shoulders and pull my self up.

"I'm going to lift you up, your gramps is gunna pull you. Just grab his hands, got it squirt?" I nodded and felt his hands on my waist as he lifted me up. Grabbing onto my granddad's hands I tried to used my feet push myself up. I groan at the pain in my ankle but continued non the less. When I was pulled up, my granddad set me down then continued to help my father up.

Once everyone was up and safe, we decided it would be best to get up to the cabin we were originally going to. I didn't really want to put pressure on my ankle, I would rather stay here in the storm but I knew that wasn't an option in my dad's mind. He seemed to notice my hesitance and kneels down, his back to me. I smirked and climbed on his back, giggling as he stood.

"Aw~ Daddy!~"

"Shut up." He climbed up the mountain, leaving my granddad to carry both his own and dad's backpacks.
