This is an AU sequel to my story, Potions of Love. I will bring aspects of Potions of Love into this follow-up saga, so I encourage followers to browse the first story, which was loosely based on the movie Love Potion Number 9. Many of the characters in this story are from the TV series #Castle, which ABC and Andrew Marlowe own. Others are from my imagination.

Detective Beckett questions Castle about the 'Flowers for her Grave' murder and discovers he's not high on the NYPD. Still, he wants to be involved with the department. She's not the only one touched by an unsolved homicide.

Of the three things Kate Beckett values most in her life, literature stands out. That's why she ends up going to that book launch party for her favorite author, even though she thinks the new saga isn't as good as the one that came first. She just had no idea what it would entail in her life, let alone how Richard Castle could be even more than she used to believe.

On a distant planet, Rick Castle hopes to get some rest and relaxation at Dome 27. He doesn't.
