Chapter Thirty-One

His hands remained fixated against the stirring wheel. Knuckles pinching white with every turn he made beneath the darkened but yet peaceful sky. The sky in which held the stars that stared down on me with such concern, as well as beauty.

I stared directly towards him, no signs of fear whatsoever resting behind my eyes, only that of pure and utter hatred for the boy whose existence contaminated the air around me.

"What are you going to do with me?" I asked, leaning forward on the cars dashboard.

Although I was eager to appear unafraid and confident in front of him, my heart was still racing. Every once of pain he had inflicted onto my body in the past stinging my existence in that moment, like the past was seizing hold of every single one of my nerves.

He looked quickly towards me before facing the road again, "shut up."

"Wow," I rolled my eyes. "You pretty much just kidnapped me, the least you can do is provide me some conversation."

He hissed, "I said shut up."

I couldn't stop my legs from trembling, no matter how fearless I tried to act, my genuine fear was slowly trying to regain its hold on everything I was in that moment.

My mind took me back to the day he beat me behind the school, and everything he had said to me in the corridor, before he dragged me out onto the field.

"She's a fighter!" He laughed. "Just my kind of girl."

My idea caused my heart to race and my throat want to vomit. My stomach turned and I so badly wanted to die in that moment, but it was the only thing I could think of in order to escape at all.

I moved closer to his side of the car, adjusting my arms close to my body in order to squeeze my breasts together, and make my cleavage more noticeable.

"Is it because Liz is unavailable?" I whispered, placing my lips closer to his ear.

His jaw clenched as my breath brushed against his eardrum, and although his struggle to keep his eyes fixated on the road was obvious, I knew that I was going to have to try a lot harder to grab his attention.

"You see..." I breathed sultrily. "I know you like a girl who's a fighter..."

He stared towards me out of the corner of his eye before looking away again, but the important thing was that he looked at me, and whatever it was that I was doing – was working.

"And Liz..." I bit my lip. "She most certainly wasn't."

He slammed on the brake, jolting the car to a stop and causing me to fall against the dashboard with an aggressive amount of force.

He clenched my jaw in his hand, "I'm not going to fall for this shit trick of yours."

My face was pulled towards his so that I felt his wretched breath against my lips, but his eyes continued to stare perversely towards them, as if he was falling for it anyway.

"Fall for what?" I exclaimed yanking my face from his grasp.

His eyes widened, the street lights dancing like a dangerous and uncontrollable fire in his pupils. But I didn't need to be warned by my surroundings about what it was I was getting myself into.

I inched on closer, locking my gaze with his and staring up at him with such lust, such seduction, that I wanted him to kill me there and then.

"Kid," I placed my hand against his thigh. "There's no way he could ever satisfy me the way that you can..."

"What are you..." he could hardly catch his breath, "doing...?"

My lips were millimetres from his.

Kill me now.

I bit my lip, "I'm gonna show you how a man like you should really be treated..."

And then I grabbed him like an animal, and kissed him like a whore.
