19. Grey

I sighed as I looked up into the grey sky.
"This sucks."
"I know."
Sitting next to me was Gwen.
We're both stuck in my car in a thunderstorm.
My car was out of gas.
It was quiet but the silence was comfortable.
"Look, I'm sorry about…."
"It's ok."
"You sure."
"Yeah I'm sure at least I'm stuck with someone I like."
I turned my head to the side.
I didn't want her to see my blush.
"You ok, Kevin."
"Yeah everything's fine."
My mind was now filled with thoughts of her liking me more than a friends.
