POV: Shibuya Kazuya (Naru)

~ Flashback: Continue: Inside the classroom… ~

"Hey, Naru. How are we suppose to- you know, catch this kid-ghost?" Takigawa asked.

I paused a second and turned to Matsuzaki.

"Matsuzaki, how many charms can you make in 10 minutes?" I asked, ignoring an idiot.

"Hey, ignoring someone who is talking to you is- just harsh..."

Brown and the others simply smiled toward Takigawa, who just frowned.

"A-Anyway… What kind?" Matsuzaki ask.

"A temporary sealing charm," I answered.

"Okay... At best, I can made about 8? No, 13 at the most… but if I have an extra hands. I'm about to make 20 or more."

"Make 20 charms in 5 minutes," I demanded.

"Hey, are you being serious here? Making charms isn't that easy! It takes a lot of skill and time to make a charm!"

"Am I hearing someone saying she can't do her job?" I questioned.

She look at the ground and mumbled, "I didn't say I can't do it!"

"If it makes the job a bit easier. I won't mind helping you do half the work, Matsuzaki," Brown said.

"No, I have something else in mind for you," I said.

"Sigh, it can't be help... Since, Masako is still unconscious... I just get to do it myself. But listen here, Naru! Don't blame me if it doesn't last long enough!"

'As long it last long enough to keep it going around the room, it's good enough,' I thought.

"Then, can I help instead?" Mai's voice came out of nowhere.

"Mai! Your awake! Are you okay? Did anything happened to you while we were all separated from each other?" Matsuzaki said, worriedly.

"I'm fine…" she said, in a strange tone, "Uh… Is it alright?" She look at me.

I turned away and sighed.

"Get started. I need it up on every corners of the wall, window, and doors before he returns."

"Right! Mai, come over here. I'll show you what I want you to do," Matsuzaki said, to her.

"Matsuzaki…" I sign her to come closer.

She look blank at me and come closer to me.

"I need a barrier… A strong one," I whisper to her.

She sigh and wave her hand in o.k. She grab Mai and start to walk away.

"Let's go, Mai-chan!"

"Oh, okay..." Mai follows Matsuzaki with a worried face.

"Takigawa, stop it's movement for a second or two," I said, after both the female are gone.

"Hmph! Yeah. Whatever," Takigawa said, "But you know, Naru... Wouldn't he know what we're doing here?"

"Yes," I answered.

"Y-Yes?! Then, it won't work, right? I mean, he won't enter this classroom if he knew that it's a trap!"

"That's the point."

"Seriously, I don't understand what you're doing anymore."

"Just do your job."

"Which is?"

"To stop his movement for as long as possible until, Brown exorcist the spirit out of the body of that boy."

Takigawa sigh, "Just hope it works. Come on, John... I need to prepare... so help me, will you?"

"Okay?" Brown said, uncertained.

Takigawa and Brown stared at me with a frown face.

"Do you have something to complain about? Not that we don't have much time left to make another brilliant plan," I said.

They look at each other, "I have no complains... Do you?" Brown asked to Takigawa.

"Whatever... Let's go, John," Takigawa said, shaking his head.

After they both left, I looked around the classroom and felt the change of atmosphere hasn't disappeared yet. Just like when Mai wake up a few half an hour ago, the atmosphere was so... different in a way.

'Something isn't right here...' I thoughted, felt a bit anxious.

I walked toward the classroom door and turned around.

'Seriously, what's going on with me? Why can't I focus?' I leaned against the wall near the door.

At the corner of the room, Mai and Matsuzaki were making charms.

"Hm… Not bad, not bad. You aren't that bad at this," I heard, Matsuzaki said to Mai.

Mai look up toward Matsuzaki and smiled.

"Thank you…" She said, warmly.

At the center of the room, Takigawa and Brown were whispering to each other.

'At the moment, nothing is going on... I need to figure out a way to get us all out of this building. Damn it! This spirit is pretty clever...' I stared up the ceiling.

"Hey, Naru?" Mai, called out to me.

I look down and saw her troubled face.

"Are all the charms done?" I ignored her troubled face.

"...Yes," she softly answered, she clenched her hands together.

I look past Mai and show Matsuzaki showing the o.k. sign.

"Good. Tell everyone to gather in the center of the room. And, tell Takigawa and Brown to be-"

"Naru!" She suddenly yelled my name out loud.

I stood staring at her crying face and felt this terrible pain inside me. I clenched my teeth together and faced away from her.

'W-What's with her?!' I thoughted, "Tell Takigawa and Brown to be… ready," I said, after a long silent paused.

Mai didn't responded.

"Did you hear what-" I turned around.

At the same time, Mai dropped to the ground trembling.

'Something isn't right,' I thought, as I observed her behavior.

"W-What are you doing?" I asked, her coldly.

She didn't respond.

"Mai!" I called out her name.

Then, suddenly she stood up and came closer to me. And give me a hug.

"Hey, Naru! What happened to Mai?!" Takigawa said, in panicked.

Takigawa, Brown and Matsuzaki came running outside the classroom.

"Seriously, what are you two d-doing?!" Both Takigawa and Matsuzaka said, surprised.

"Oh, my..." Brown said, after staring at me and Mai for a long time.

I look down and felt an unpleasant feeling. I unconsciously push Mai away from me.

"Naru?" Mai said, softly.

Her head was tilted downward, face covered with her short hair.

"W-Who are you?!" I asked her, "Mai won't do something like that. That stubborn brat won't-"

Under the pile of hairs, I saw a smirk on her face.

"DIE!" she shouted.

She pull out a kitchen knife and came running toward me.

"N-Naru!"

"Mai!"

I heard both my name and Mai's name being yelled out.

~ End of flashback?! Why? ~

POV: Shibuya Kazuya (Naru)

For a long time, Principal Giro stay silent and nervously drum the desk.

"Uh… Yes, those files were fake. To tell you the truth…" Principal Giro pause and walk toward me and Lin.

He took a quick peek outside his office and lock the door.

"Please, have a sit… It's a long story after all."

Lin and I walk to a chair and sit down. The principal slowly walk toward his chair and led back.

"It was… five years ago, if I believe so... Many things happened. The most tragic case was when, a man named, Jiro, became an insane man. He killed his second girlfriend just to obtain her face and and heart."

"This girls name… was it Kimo?" I ask.

"Y-Yes… How did you know?"

~Short flashback~

"Naru, please!" Mai cried, tears running down her face, "I need to save, Kimo and Lucio. They want to be save. But that evil man, Jiro won't let them go. I won't go back with you, while I save them. Sorry…"

"M-Mai, wait! It's too dangerous to go alone!" I tried to chase after her.

Mai look back at me and smiled.

"Sorry… Talk to Keli-san, Naru."

She walked with a girl with the same uniform as Mai. As I observed, the girls uniform was dirty and ripped.

'Mai… Be careful...' I thought, worriedly.

~End of Short flashback~

"Just a wild guess…" I answered.

Lin glare at me and start to ask the Principal questions. An hour has gone by when we finally have none to ask the Principal.

"Thank you for your cooperation, Principal Giro," I said.

"Y-Yes," Principal Giro answer.

Lin and me left the Principal's office and head to the old school building.

"That was a useful information," Lin said.

"Did you send the information to Brown?" I ask.

"Yes, he said, his coming back in 2 to 3 hours from now."

"Good, we would be ready by then. Start gathering the others to the front of the old school building again. And have them start the project, I discussed with you early on."

"Okay."

Lin walk ahead of me and left.

"Now then… I have some business with someone, it seems," I smirk to myself.

I left the camps and head to a certain residents.

~?'s Residents: Front Gate~

Door Bell - Ringing

"Buzz… Who is it? Buzz…" An older english speaking lady ask, through the mic.

"My name is Shibuya Kazuya, I'm from the Shibuya Psychic Research group. I was the one who ask to see Miss. Yoshimoto," I rely in english.

"Buzz… Oh! Miss Yoshimoto's visiter? Oh, please come in! Come in! Buzz..."

"Thank you."

The gate opened and another woman greet me.

"Shibuya-san, right this way, please."

She brought me inside the house and lead me to one of the house room.

"Please, wait for Yoshimoto-sama here. And enjoy this coffee," she smiled and left.

Ten minutes later…

"Shibuya-san, gomenasai. I hope I didn't keep you waiting," an old and kind voice said out of nowhere.

"Not at all, Miss Keli," I said, greeting her in.

~ Back to Flashback ~

Mai came running toward me with a unbearable laugh coming out of her mouth. Just when she was about to stab me, Takigawa came and block the blade and push her back.

"H-Hey, Naru you okay?!" he ask.

"I don't need your worries," I said.

"Sheesh, I even saved your life. And that's what-"

"Seriously, could you two fight about that later?! And focus about Mai, please?!" Matsuzaki said, panicky.

Both my and Takigawa's attention turned to Mai, who patiently and quietly laugh.

"Done already~? Oh, here I was having fun~" Mai said, happily.

She wave the knife in the air and slide the knife against her face.

"It's so warm…" she twirl around, "Let's beginning!" she smirked in amusement.

"Matsuzaki! The barrier!" I demanded.

"I'm already ahead of you!" Matsuzaki said.

She casted the barrier up.

"Takigawa! Brown!"

"We're on it! Brown, be ready to exorcist her!" Takigawa said.

"Okay!" Brown relied.

Takigawa started to chant in Buddhist. Mai stood staring at Takigawa.

"Why you! I-I can't move!" She said.

As Takigawa continued to chant, he eyed at Brown to start the exorcist. Brown nodded and start to read his Bible and spread holy water around Mai and to Mai. I keep my distance away from the two people who are working and silently watch. Mai struggle to move and Takigawa and Brown begin to shed some sweated.

"In the name of…" Brown finally finish reading the Bible.

He and Takigawa paused, waiting for something to happened. Mai didn't move for a moment, but she nod off to one side and mourned.

"W-Where am I?" She said, in a tired voice.

She look up and squash her eye together and her face brighten up.

"Monk-san? Brown-san? ...Even Matsuzaki-san? What's going on?" she paused, "The last thing I remember was I was talking to this little boy and then… then… I don't know what happened after that…?"

"It's… o-okay, Mai. But are you really Mai this time?" Takigawa said, in suspicious.

"What do you mean by, am I really Mai this time? ...What do you mean?"

"It's nothing, Mai. Forget about it," I said.

"Naru? You here, too?"

"Hmph, Brown, where did it go?"

"It?"

"It's still inside the barrier," Hara finally wake up.

She get up and covered her mouth with her kimono, like always.

"Masako…" Matsuzaki said, faintly.

"All those loud noises wake me up…" She frowned.

"Loud noises?"

"I'm talking about the emotions of those childrens… Wait a minute, they're more furiously than before! What did you guys do?!" Hara ask, turning to each one of us.

"Nothing… We didn't touch those children."

Hara start to feel the atmosphere once again and had a surprised face.

"T-They're all gone… What's going on here?!" She collapsed to the ground.

"W-What? Where did they go, Masako?" Takigawa ask.

"I-I don't know. They were outside for a second.. then, something empty- like a black hole took some of the children and disappeared," Hara face up and eyes closed.

"Something Empty? Like a blackhole? What's that suppose to be?" Takigawa ask.

"Don't look at me! I don't know!" she faced away from Takigawa.

"What was that for?"

Hara stand up and head toward me.

"I don't know whether or not if I should have told them the truth, but the empty thing was that evil man- Mai and I show… It was that some evil man who took Mai somewhere unknown as well," she whispered to me.

I nod and started to enter in deep thought.

'Evil Man?' I thought.

I watch Mai talk to others and smiling.

"Hara-san, can you tell me,where the evil man and the little boy is right now?" I whisper.

She look around the room and nod.

"The evil man at the moment is… feeding right now. Because of the barrier it can't enter the classroom. It's wandering around the second floor near this classroom… And the little boy… He's standing next to Mai… Since he's trapped inside the barrier, he can't escape out. So, he's trying to pull Mai away from everyone…" Hara paused.

"What's wrong?"

"Something got the evil man's attention… He stops feeding? Now, he's hiding. I don't know why he's hiding, though."

"...I see. Thanks for the information."

"H-Hello? Anyone in here?" A female voice said, "K-Kenta-kun, are you sure we should enter the old school building? I mean, my teacher even say not to go near the old school building."

"Stop being such a pussy cat, Mei-neechan. I just want to meet those cool people, I saw a few days back. Besides, it won't hard to watch them would it?" Kenta said.

"No, but didn't you see the stairs? It was destroyed!" Mei said, with a nervous tone.

"H-Hey, isn't this dangerous, Naru?" Takigawa whispered to me.

"Naru, it's them! That girl is in danger! That's why it was hiding at first!" Hara said, finally realizing the meaning.

"Wait, what?!" Matsuzaki said, panicly.

"We need to warn them!" Mai said, worriedly.

"It's already too late for that girl," I said.

"What? Why?" She look at me with a crying face.

"It's because it already trapped them here. The moment they decided to enter the second floor," Hara said.

"N-No…"

"Naru! It's moving toward the two-"

"Ahhhhh!" A female screamed.

"Mei-neechan!" The boys voice yelled after.

"Naru!" Mai said, my name.

"Don't even think of stepping out the barrier, Mai," I angrily glare at her, "Don't you dare."

She look at me straight with an unwavering stare. I couldn't win with her strong feelings to help and care about others, so I give in.

"Fine…" I said, feeling a bit awkward saying something I don't usually say, "But Takigawa and Brown, will check things out first and when they give a ok. We can go check them out."

"Naru… Thank you!" her face brighten up with relief.

Takigawa and Brown went outside the barrier and check out things. For a couple of minutes, they both cames back inside the barrier. Takigawa was holding a little boy and set him down on the floor.

"We found him in the ground unconscious… as for the other girl… she's outside… I'll get her. Brown… help me cover her…" he said, sounding a bit disturbed.

"M-Monk? What happened to the girl?" Mai ask.

Takigawa smile toward Mai and laugh. He and Brown went outside again.

"Naru…" Brown called for me.

I went outside the barrier in front of the classroom, where I saw the girls body.
