A/N: I needed to change the little girl's name to Homura since Shizuku sounds like a boy's name (I think XD) so anyways, her name will refer to Homura not Shizuku...
Ash's Precious Little Girl - CH III: He's Mine! Not Yours!
"Ash, are you sure you are willing to go through with this?" Dawn asked her friend. The two trainers were sitting on tree stumps as they watch Brock do a check-up on Homura.
"What do you mean, Dawn?" Ash turned to his friend with a question look on his face.
"I mean are you wiling to act your…….where did you got that from?" Dawn's expression was like this……00 when she saw Ash eating a giant cookie shaped like a fish.
Ash shrugged. "I don't know but it's good, want some?" Ash offered.
Dawn sighed. "No thanks but thanks anyway."
Ash shrugged again as he went back eating his cookie. Dawn turn her gaze away from him as she turn her attention to the light-green haired little girl. Homura notices Dawn's stare as she harden her glare at the blue-haired girl.
"Ash?"
"Yes, Dawn?" Ash halted his eating as he turned to his attention to Dawn.
"How is it possible for Homura to be up and around?" Dawn asked him with a stern look on her face. Ash tilted his head to his side. He clearly didn't understand what she was trying to say. "I mean when we first found her, she was covered in blood. I was so worried about her but now she looks fine like nothing ever happen. Isn't that kind of weird if you think about that is?"
Ash took another bite from his cookie and swallow. "I was thinking the same thing." this caught Dawn's attention. "When you left to go fetch Brock, Dawn. Homura started to wake up. At first she freak out on where she was and why she was covered in blood?"
Dawn listens closely to Ash's story. She waited patiently for him to continue. Dawn saw him finish his cookie but then suddenly got another one out of nowhere. Her eyes widen. Where in the world does Ash get al this food from? "Ash…..where do you….uh…..never mind just continues."
Ash nodded. "Well, I tried to calm her down but she didn't listen to me at first. She tried to attack me which surprised me. If she was really hurt, how can she start moving around like nothing ever happen." he paused as he took a bite from his cookie.
"See, my thoughts exactly. How can she be fine if we found her covered in blood?" Dawn repeated her earlier comment about Homura.
"Wait there's more to this, Dawn. You see with all the yelling and commotion, she stopped because she realized that I wasn't even trying to hurt her despite the fact she attack me. She started to cry because she was so confused but I told her it was going to be ok. I said to her that I will take care of her and protect no matter what."
"What did she say to you?"
"Um….she didn't say much. She started to embrace me into a hug then cried in joy. She must have been really happy despite the fact I was a stranger to her that I was there for her."
"No wonder she took a liking into you, Ash. You always care for those in needs despite who it was, you always care for them and plus you have a sweet and caring personality." Dawn slightly blushed when she said this to him.
"Thanks, Dawn." Ash slightly blushes to receive a wonderful compliment from his friend.
"No problem." Dawn giggled then turned her attention away from Ash for a moment as she gaze ahead to see Shizuku glaring at her with jealously within her green eyes.
"Hey Ash?"
"Yes Dawn?"
"Have you asked Homura if she remembers anything?" Dawn asked.
"Now that mention it, yeah I did. I ask her if she knows who was responsible of trying to hurt her since she was covered in blood."
"What did she say?"
"She said she can't remember anything. The only thing she remember is her name and that's probably much about it……..Oh there is one thing I found out about her."
"Oh what was it, Ash?" Dawn look interested about what Ash find out about the little girl.
"Well I'm no expert but when I check to see where she was bleeding at, I find out that she didn't have any wounds on her body. Kinda weird isn't it?"
"No wounds?" Dawn blinked confusedly. "Then why was she covered in blood?"
Ash shrugged as he finished his second cookie. "I tried to ask that but then she started to break down into tears so I decided not to press on."
'Strange.' Dawn pondered. "So she doesn't remember anything?"
Ash nodded sadly. "That's what she told me. If she doesn't remember anything that means she doesn't remember-"
"Her parents." Dawn looks a bit sad. "They must worry about her right about now."
"Maybe or unless she doesn't have any parents. She could be an orphan." Ash replied sadly as he glances at the little girl who was smiling at him happily while he let out a small smile back at her.
"No parents…….poor girl." Dawn looks sad as she stares at the little girl. Homura took notice of Dawn's stare as she looks away. Dawn frowned then turned her attention back to Ash. "So that's the reason she call you, Daddy huh?"
Ash slightly blushed. "Oh well, I suggest to her to call me big brother but she refused no matter what how hard I tried to convince her. She insists on calling me, Daddy."
"And you are willing to go through with this?" Dawn sounded a bit angry. "Don't you realize this, Ash that you are way too young to act as her father?"
"I know that but why are you so angry about that?" Ash questioned her.
"I'm not!" Dawn quickly denies it as she looks away from him.
"Dawn, is something bothering you? I worried about you?" Ash placed a hand on her shoulder to comfort her.
Dawn slightly blushed by his touch but didn't turn to look at him. "I'm fine Ash, it just that I have feeling….."
"You have a feeling?"
Dawn nodded, still not looking at him. "I have a feeling Shizuku doesn't trust me or Brock."
"Don't say that, Dawn. It's going take some time for her to get use to you guys so don't worry about it too much."
"Are you sure Ash? What if you are……" Dawn was cut off when she sees Ash shook his head.
"No Dawn, don't think that. I know she will take a liking into you guys. It will take some time, ok?" Ash offered her a warm smile.
Dawn turned to him and smiled. "Ok Ash, I guess you are-"
"DADDY!"
Ash and Dawn glances ahead to see the innocent and cheerful little girl running towards them. Homura jumped onto Ash's lap and wrapped her arms around his neck. She embraced him as she giggled.
"How was your check-up, Homura?" Ash asked kindly to the little girl.
"Good." Homura giggled happily as she snuggled close to him.
"That's good." Ash smiled at the cheerful girl.
Unaware to Ash, Dawn seems a bit quite jealous that little girl was showing too much affection towards him. She bit lower lip. Dawn has an odd feeling about this little girl.' Homura, if you think you're going to take Ash away from us, well think again. I won't let you. Ash doesn't belong to anyone especially to someone like-' she suddenly snapped out of her thoughts when Ash was giving her a worried look.
"Dawn, are you ok? You're kinda spacing out." Ash said to her.
Dawn looks away with a slight blush on her face. "I'm fine Ash, no need to worry about me."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes." Dawn quickly responded, not looking into his eyes.
Ash frowned. He didn't look too convinced. He knows there's something on her mind.
Unaware to the both of them, Homura was eying suspicious at Dawn and took notice of the blush on her face. The blonde haired girl hardens her glare. 'You mean lady; you think you're going to take Ash away from me, think again. Ash is important to me. He's the only one I have left. He's mine. Not Yours! I'll make sure of that because I still don't trust you or that guy.'
Ash can feel the little girl's grip around him tense up a little bit. He glances down at the little girl. "Homura? Is something the matter?"
The little girl removed her gaze from Dawn as she turned her attention to her so called, Daddy. "Nothing is wrong, Daddy. I was just admiring how pretty your friend is?" she said in an innocent and sweet tone of voice.
"That's nice. See Dawn." he chimed, gaining Dawn's attention. "It seems Homura is taking a liking into you. Maybe you two should take this time to get to know each other better while I'll…….Holy Arceus!!!! What happen to you, Brock?" Ash suddenly shouted making both girls look straight ahead to see Brock's face was all swollen.
Brock had a black eye along with both of his cheeks all swollen up and lastly a bleeding lip. "OH MY ARCEUS! BROCK WHO DID THIS TO YOU? Don't take me Croagunk is responsible for this?"
"No, no, no……it wasn't him….It was uh…..uh……"Brock waved his hands. Brock glances over to the little girl who was sitting innocent on Ash's laps.
Homura notice his stare as she harden her glare at him. Brock gulped nervously.
"I-I……uh trip and fell."
Ash and Dawn gave him an awkward look. "You fell?" Dawn said in disbelief.
Brock nodded. "Yeah."
"Are you sure? It's more like a group of Croagunk gave you a beating." Ash joked.
"Yes." Brock hung his head.
"Sorry Brocko, I didn't mean to tease you." Ash chuckled. Shizuku got off Ash's lap so she can let Ash get up to his feet. "Here let me help you with your injuries."
"Thanks Ash." Brock appreciated his help.
While Ash is busy helping Brock attend his wounds, Dawn is left standing there watching them with Homura by her side.
An awkward silence fell between them until….
"If you know what's good of you……" Homura whispered, catching Dawn's attention. Dawn glances down at the little girl who was shot her an evil and cold look on her face. "Stay away from Daddy. He's mine, not yours unless you want to end up like your friend there."
Dawn gasped in shock. "Wait! Y-You did this to-"
"This is a fair warning from me to you, Stay away from my Daddy!" Homura hissed for a second then giggle happily. "Just kidding."
Dawn blinked confusedly as she sees the little girl dash towards Ash and Brock. "Homura…….who are you and what do you want with Ash?"
