Ash's Precious Little Girl – CH IX: Homura's First Pokemon
A/N: My home computer caught a virus =( This sucks! Therefore, my updates will be slow since I have to go to my old college to use the computer now until my home computer gets fix or I have to buy a new one. Sorry everyone =( Anyways, this chapter will skip through as the group heads to Asatsuki Town for Dawn's fifth ribbon since Ash's Gym battle will be on hold for awhile.
Ash's Precious Little Girl – CH IX: ^-^ Homura's First Pokemon ^-^
We find the group heading to Asatsuki Town for Dawn's fifth ribbon since Ash's Gym battle was put on hold. At first, it was a little disappointing that our young hero has to wait a bit longer to earn his last badge but eventually Ash got over it since he knows that he will receive an opportunity to earn his last badge sometime in the near future. So for now, Ash decided to post-pone his goal as he wants to support Dawn on her goal to win her fifth and final ribbon at Asatsuki Town. "So……Dawn, are you ready to win your final ribbon?" Ash asked his companion.
The blue-haired coordinator turns her attention to her crush and smiled. "You bet Ash and don't worry me and Pokemon are ready to win that final ribbon! It's as good as ours, right Piplup?" she asked her Pokemon with enthusiasm.
"Pip-lup!" The blue penguin, who was walking next to his trainer, responded with excitement.
"See!" Dawn chimed happily.
Ash and Brock laughed. "My, that's some confidence you got there, Dawn." Brock said to the hype-up coordinator. "I wonder where you got that confidence boost from?" he paused for a moment to ponder on that thought until he smirked. "Did you got it from Ash by any chance?" Brock teased.
Suddenly, Ash and Dawn slightly blushed when they heard the breeder's comment. They can tell he was teasing them. "S-Stop it, Brock! What makes you think that?" Dawn questioned.
Brock shrugged. "I thought you did."
"W-Well……you thought wrong….." Dawn lied.
Brock raised an eyebrow. The breeder can sense that his friend was lying to him and by the way he sees her fidgeting a little bit, Brock can tell right away that Dawn was lying to herself as well. "Maybe….you're right Dawn…I guess I was just imaging things then." he replied.
"That's alright Brock. No harm done." Dawn assured her friend while deep inside the young brunette was happy that Brock believed in her little fib.
"Thanks Dawn."
The group continues to walk calmly through the route that leads them to Asatsuki Town. They were making good progress as they only have a day walk left until they arrive there. As the day reaches to the point, the gang decided to take a break and stop for lunch. Brock, the head-chef decided to give an assignment to each member of the group. "Dawn, you will set up the table and…….." Brock was suddenly cut off when he heard Ash's whine.
"Brock, how come Dawn gets an easy job while I have to go fetch some water near the stream."
"Yeah, why does daddy have to do all the hard work?" Homura complained.
Brock raised an eyebrow. "Fetching water doesn't seem like a tough job to do."
"Yes it does!" Homura pouted cutely.
Brock had the urge to roll his eyes. "Well…..if you want Homura, you can go with your daddy and help him out." The breeder suggested.
"Can I daddy?" Homura pleaded with puppy-dog eyes.
"Sure." Ash chimed happily.
"YAY!" The cute little girl squeaked happily. The pinkish-blonde runs up to Ash and hug him affectionately while Ash returns the hug.
"You should thank Brock, Homura. He is the one that suggested you to come along." Ash said to his adopted daughter.
"Do I have to, Daddy?" the little girl pouted cutely.
Brock frowned. He knows that Homura hasn't gotten use to him yet. The breeder was hoping she would since Homura open up to Dawn already so why not him? "Ash……it's ok if she doesn't……" Brock was going to said it was alright but Ash shook his head.
"No Brock…….Homura……just…..say thank you to him."
"O-Ok….." the little girl gave in as she pulls away from the hug. She slowly approaches Brock. "T-Thank…..you…..Uncle……"
Brock can tell Homura felt uneasy when she said that. He knows she didn't want to thank him but he decided to go along with it. Maybe….just….maybe she might open up to him if he shows her some kindness. "No problem, Homura." The breeder assured the pinkish-blonde with a smile.
The little girl didn't return the smile. Brock frowned. The breeder was hoping she could at least give him a little smile but it seem he wasn't going get one as he watches Homura hurry over to Ash's side. "Come on, daddy! Let's go, let's go!" Homura tucked on Ash's arm as she bounces up and down.
Ash laughed. "Ok, ok…..let's go…." The young teen replied. Ash, Pikachu, and Homura headed to fetch some water. With them out of sight, Brock let out a disappointed sigh then felt someone placed a hand on his shoulder. Brock turns around to see Dawn.
"Don't worry Brock, just give it some time. I'm sure she'll open up to you soon." The young brunette said to him. Brock slowly nodded.
With Ash and Homura
We find Ash and Homura, who's been clinging onto his arm, walked calmly to the nearby stream. But before they could fetch some water and bring it back to the campsite, Pikachu spotted something lying on the ground near the stream shore, unconscious.
"Pika!" The yellow mouse squeaked. Both Ash and Homura turns their attention to Pikachu.
"Pikachu, what's the matter?" Ash asked with a concern look.
"Pi-Pikachu." The yellow mouse squeaked to his trainer. It seems Ash could understand or…..uh…guess what Pikachu was saying to him.
"You see something?" Pikachu nodded. "Where?" The yellow mouse pointed his finger near the stream shore line. Ash and Homura turns to the direction where Pikachu was pointing at. They gasped in surprised when they see an unconscious Pokemon lying near the shore line.
Ash and Homura quickly hurry to it. The young teen kneeled down to check the status of the unconscious creature. It was an Eeeve. It was out cold with one of its hind legs badly wounded. The leg seems to be broken. "Is it going to be okay, daddy?" Homura asked her daddy with a concern look.
"Well…it's still alive but it's hurt though." Ash said to his adopted daughter. "This Eevee needs some help and fast. We need to take it back to Brock so he can take a look at it."
"Daddy?" The pinkish-blonde calls to her adopted daddy.
"Yes Homura?"
"Can I carry it, please?" Homura begged with puppy-dog eyes.
"Sure….." Ash carefully picked up the unconscious Eevee and handed it to his adopted daughter. "Be careful. This Eeeve might attack you when it wakes up since….."
"Don't worry daddy, it won't." The little girl assured Ash as she takes the Eevee from her daddy. "I can tell it won't attack me."
"What?!" Ash looks confused. He wanted to ask what Homura mean by that but decided not to since time was running out for the poor Eeeve. "Never mind…..let's head back, ok?" Homura nodded. They quickly ran back to the campsite without the bucket of water. (A/N: Oops….lol….)
Campsite
"BROCK!"
Dawn and Brock stop what they were doing as they turn their heads to see Ash running towards them in a hurry. "Ash? What's the matter?" Dawn asked.
Ash took a moment to catch his breath before speaking. "We need help! We find an Eevee and it's……." Before Ash could finish his sentence, the group heard laughter right behind him. The group turns around to see Homura lying on her back while the Eevee that suppose to be hurt according to Ash was licking her face affectionately.
"Eevee, that tickles….." The pinkish-blonde giggled.
"Is that an Eevee?! It's so cute!" Dawn squeaked like a school girl. The young coordinator quickly rushes over to Homura and the Eeeve.
Ash was shocked. He couldn't believe the same Eevee he and Homura found that was out-cold and injure, was now up and moving around like nothing ever happen to it. Even Pikachu was dumbfounded by this. Was it faking? If it was then it was a great actor to fool him.
Tap!
Ash suddenly felt a tap on his shoulder. The young trainer turns around to see Brock. "What was it that you were going to say, Ash?"
"Oh……right……uh……surprise……we found an Eevee!" Ash chimed. Pikachu fell backwards, anime-style while Brock gave his friend a weird look.
5 minutes later
"Done!" Brock announced. The breeder was finish doing a checkup on the wild Eevee since Ash requested one to make sure the Eevee he and Homura found was ok. With the checkup completed, it shows that the fox-like creature was 100% a-ok which puzzles Ash a little bit. There was no sign of any broken bones within Eevee's entire body which was awfully strange. "Eevee is 100% percent healthy." Brock informed.
"Are you sure Brock?"
"Of course I'm sure Ash, why?" Brock questioned.
Ash didn't say anything. He turns attention to Homura, who was playing with the self-proclaimed healthy Eevee. The young trainer had a strange feeling that something doesn't seem right. How can an injure Pokemon magically recover so quickly? Ash pondered for a moment as he didn't take his eyes off Homura and the Eevee. 'How can this be? There's no way Eevee can fake that injury. It looks so real unless…….'
He paused for a second as he watches his adopted daughter giggling happily and being licked by the Eevee. Ash's attention was fully on Homura. 'Homura…..did you do something? No….that impossible…..Homura can't possibly heal that Eevee…..There's no way….."
Homura stop playing with the Eevee for just a second as she took notice of her daddy's tare. She was starting to panic. 'Oh….no….did….daddy find out that…..I……no……daddy…..please……don't…..I……don't want to leave you if you did find out about me……' The little girl cried in her mind.
Brock took notice that Ash has been staring at the pinkish-blonde for awhile now. Was there something on his mind? The breeder decided to ask. "Ash? Is there something wrong?"
"…"
"Ash?"
"…"
Brock frowned. He was getting worry about his friend since he wasn't responding to his calls. Before Brock could do anything else to snap Ash out of his thoughts, Dawn steps in to lend a hand. "No need to worry, Brock. Leave this to me." Dawn replied.
Brock raised an eyebrow. What was Dawn up to? The breeder saw his friend walks up to Ash, who was still staring at his adopted daughter and lend forward close to her crush's cheek. Right away, Brock figures out what his friend was planning on doing, he smirked.
The young brunette inches closer to the unaware trainer's cheek then planted a kiss. In an instant, the young trainer felt a tingling sensation within him when Dawn planted the kiss on him. His face madly turns red. This, of course, stops Ash from staring at Homura, which of course, place a great sign of relief on the little girl's face. Ash turns his attention to Dawn, who was smiling at him. "What was that for?" He asked dumbly.
Dawn shrugged her shoulders. "No reason." She responded with a giggle.
Ash blinked confusedly. "Uh…ok…."
Brock rolls his eyes. Brock knows Ash still has a long way to go before understanding females. The breeder decided to change the subject. "So….Ash, was there something on your mind?"
"No…" Ash quickly replied.
"Daddy is a horrible liar." Homura commented.
"What?! I'm not…."
"Yup, Homura is right. You are definitely a bad liar, Ash." Dawn agreed with a smirk. Ash's jaw dropped to the ground. "And by the looks at it, you are definitely a liar."
"Hey!"
Both girls giggled. Ash frowned. "Fine." Ash turns his head away with a pout.
"Daddy, don't mope." Homura said to her daddy while trying her best not to giggle. "Daddy doesn't like it when Daddy is like this, isn't that right, Daddy?"
"…"
"…"
"…"
"Huh?" Ash and Dawn said at the same time with baffled expression on their faces.
"Did that really make any sense at all?" Brock asked no one in particular.
"And who's Daddy? I thought Ash is Daddy unless you're talking about your Daddy. Homura?" Dawn asked.
"Nope!" the pinkish-blonde chimed.
"Then who is the other Daddy?" Brock asked.
"Eevee is Daddy!"
"What?"
"Eevee is Daddy, isn't that right, Daddy?" Homura asked her Eeeve.
"Eevee!" The cute-looking fox Pokemon barked happily. The little girl giggled.
"Oh…I get it."
"Get what, Brock?" Ash asked dumbly. Dawn had the urge to roll her eyes.
"Homura named the Eevee right after you." Brock explained.
"Oh….."
"But would it be simple to call Eevee, Ash?" Dawn suggested.
"NO!" Homura shouted. "Eevee is Daddy and that's FINAL!"
"But Homura……I agree with Dawn. Would it be simply to give Eevee a regular name like…..uh….."
"Ash." Dawn repeated herself.
"No."
"How about Foxy?"
"No."
"Bill?"
"No."
"Me!" Brock joked. Ash, Homura, and Dawn looked at the breeder awkwardly. "Ok…maybe not….."
"Daddy is Daddy and I want Eevee to be named right after Daddy! And that's final!"
The trio glances at each other for a second before they shrugged their shoulders. "I guess that settles it…..I guess." Dawn replied.
"That's right!" Homura proudly answered.
The trio rolled their eyes. "Alright Homura, Eevee can be call Daddy, too." Ash said to his adopted daughter.
"YAY!" The little girl cheered. Homura rushes to her daddy and hugged him tightly. "Thank you so much, Daddy!"
"No problem, Homura." Ash replied with a smile. The young trainer hugged his daughter back.
"Oh and Daddy?"
"Yes, Homura?"
"Can we battle?"
Guess what?! I'm back! YAY! Sorry for the long period of absences. My computer crashed but it got fixed so now I can write my stories again. Cliff-hanger! Will Ash accept Homura's challenge? If so then, this will be her first Pokemon battle. Who do you want to win? Ash? Or Homura? Find out next time. I'm planning to write a Christmas special. (A/N: It won't be connected to the storyline since the special will take place at Pallet Town. Ash, Homura, Dawn, and Brock will have their Christmas together at Ash's house.
Who (It can be more than one person) do you want to see come by and celebrate Christmas with Ash and the group? (It can be his old friends, old rivals, new friends, new rivals, Team Rocket, old enemies, new enemies like Hunter J or Team Galactic. Anybody. It's your choose)
One more thing, I will start writing J's Apprentice as soon as possible. So be patient ^-^ Merry Christmas and Hope you enjoy your winter vacation ^-^
See Ya! Wish me luck!
