Ash's Precious Little Girl - CH XIV: ^-^ Paul vs. Peter! ^-^

"This battle is between Peter and Paul from Veilstone City." Brock announced, informing the spectaculars from the sidelines. The two competitors stared at each other from the opposing sides of the battlefield. "It will be a three-on-three battle. There will be no time limit with both trainers can substitute their Pokemon at any time. Are both trainers ready?"

"I'm ready. How about you, bro?" Peter said to Paul, who scowled. It appears that the arrogant trainer didn't like how the blonde addressed him.

"See here fool. I'm not your bro nor will I be your friend so don't around and call me ridiculous names." Paul replied coldly, eying at his opponent. Peter frowned.

"Chill dude. I was trying to………."

"Don't say anything, you fool." The purple haired trainer growled. "I don't need to lighten up so save it." This of course, made the blonde frowned even more.

From the sidelines, our spectators were getting irritated with Paul's attitude. "Jeez! What's with him?" Olivia growled. The purple-eyed female turns her attention to her friends. "Does he always act like this?" She asked, seeing Ash and Dawn shrugged.

"Maybe." Dawn replied with no care in the world. Olivia sweat dropped. "But he always does tick Ash off when they meet. Isn't that right, Ash?" The young brunette asked with a sense of teasing the young trainer. Ash slightly blushed.

"No, he doesn't." Ash lied. Dawn rolled her eyes.

"Ash, you're such a bad liar." The young brunette replied, knowing the fact that her crush was such a terrible liar when it comes to hearing the truth. "It is written all over your face."

Homura gasped. "Daddy's a bad liar?!" This made Ash rolled his eyes while Dawn and Olivia giggled.

"Yes, he is." Olivia teased.

"No, I'm not." Ash argued.

"See. He's lying right now." Dawn continued to tease Ash. The young trainer frowned.

"Fine. I'm a terrible liar." Ash confessed. "There. Are you happy? Can we just get back to the battle?" He whined childish, making Pikachu, Dawn, Homura, and Olivia giggled.

"Fine, we'll stop teasing you…….for now……" Dawn teased again.

"Hey!" Ash pouted cutely, making the girls giggled at him.

Aside from teasing Ash, the group decided to turn their focuses back to the battlefield as the battle between Peter and Paul was going to begin. "I'm going to ask again……" Brock glanced at Peter and Paul. "Are both trainers ready?"

"Yes." The two trainers replied simultaneously, giving Brock the cue that they were ready.

"BEGIN!"

Paul smirked. "Honchkrow, standby for battle!" The purple haired tossed his Pokeball, summoning out his dark/flying type Pokemon. The black bird let out a loud caw. The blonde trainer smirked.

'A dark/flying type eh? Not bad of a choice.' Peter pondered, admiring Paul's first choice. The blonde trainer thought it was a good pick but it wasn't good enough. 'But not good enough.' He pulls out his Pokeball and tosses it. "Let's show them what you can do, Val."

"Pika!" The female yellow mouse squeaked. From the sidelines, the three girls squeaked like a bunch of fan girls when they saw Peter's female Pokemon wearing green ribbons, hinting that she was female. But unlike the squeaking girls, Paul didn't seem all too impress.

"Big deal." Paul replied emotionlessly. "You have a weak Pokemon like that fool over there." He gestured over to Ash, who growled at him. Peter ignored Paul's rude remarks. The blonde smirked.

"Don't be fool by her appearance, bro. She might look cute but she is actually a tight cookie so don't underestimate her for one second." The young trainer informed. The female Pikachu let out a 'chu', hinting that she agreed with her trainer. Paul smirked.

"We will see about that. Honchkrow, use Aerial Ace." The ruthless trainer commanded.

The black bird obeyed. The dark crow sped towards the yellow mouse at an incredible speed. The blonde trainer looks on as he was quite surprised that his opponent didn't switch for different Pokemon. Didn't Paul know that he was at a huge disadvantage? An electric type against a flying type. Yup, it was huge disadvantage but yet the ruthless trainer didn't seem to be worry about it at all. Was Paul underestimating Peter and his Pikachu? Bad move on Paul's end. The challenger smirked.

'Don't underestimate Val, bro. Appearances can be deceiving.' The blonde continued to watch as the charging bird was inching closer and closer to his yellow mouse. It was time to act. "Val, use Rollout." Peter ordered.

"Pika!" The female mouse squeaked obediently. Val rushes then starts turning into a ball as she starts rolling towards the speeding Honchkrow.

From the sidelines, Ash and the cheering squad didn't know why Peter would use a head on move. Didn't he know that Aerial Ace always hits first? They thought he made a mistake until Ash, Dawn, and Olivia realized something. But it seems like Paul was one step ahead of them since he knew Peter made a good move. 'Hmm. It seems like this fool knows what he is doing.' Paul pondered, eying at his opponent. 'But no matter, he will lose just like that pathetic fool.'

"Honchkrow, dodge that Rollout attack and get behind Pikachu, quick." The purple haired trainer ordered.

The dark crow obeyed. It sharply turned, swiftly dodging the Rollout. Now, the black crow was chasing the rolling mouse right behind her. That was a good move on his end. He knows that Peter's Pikachu can't direction. As Honchkrow gets closer to the rolling mouse, it was time for the ruthless trainer to attack. "Now Honchkrow, use Dark Pulse!" He commanded.

The black bird opens its beak and prepares to fire its attack right at the rolling mouse. But before that happens, something amazing happens. "Val, use Thunderbolt!"

Val obeyed her trainer's order. The rolling mouse somehow fires a strong eclectic bolt while she was still rolling. This of course, surprised Ash, Dawn, Homura, Olivia, Brock, and Pikachu including Paul. They have never seen this method before. This was the first time they seen a Pokemon fired an attack while it was still doing Rollout. Peter must have trained his Pikachu well if this happen. But this doesn't change anything. Honchkrow fires its attack at the approaching Thunderbolt.

BOOM!

The two attacks collided, causing a small explosion. A cloud of black smoke blocked the black bird's vision as it couldn't see anything until a faint, shadowy image appeared within the black smoke. Suddenly, without warning, the shady figure burst out from its hiding spot and collided into Honchkrow.

BAM!

Honchkrow cried in pain. The mysterious figure that shot out from the smoke was none other than the rolling Val as she use Rollout and nailed the dark crow head on. Paul growled angrily while Peter kept his momentum going. "Quick Val, use Thunderbolt!" The blonde ordered.

The female mouse shifted herself into high gear as Val got out of her Rollout mode and fires a powerful stray of lightning bolt at the temporally, weaken Honchkrow. "Piiika-Chuuuuuuuu!"

ZAP!

"KRRROWWWWWWWWW!" The dark crow cried in agony when the electric bolt struck its body. Its entire body was coursing through with electricity. Ash and his group cheered happily, knowing that the Thunderbolt did a lot of damage to Honchkrow. Paul snarled.

"What are you doing?!" He demanded, eying darkly at his weak and pathetic Pokemon. "Shake it off and use Night Slash NOW!"

The weaken crow mustered all of its strength as it broke free from the Thunderbolt. Honchkrow dives down at the yellow mouse at full with its right black wing glowing brightly. Val waited anxiously for her trainer's order. The blonde trainer sees the black crow was inching closer to his friend. "Val, jump and dodge it by twirling around." Peter commanded.

Val obeyed. The yellow mouse leaped up and twirls her entire body to avoid Honchkrow's Night Slash as the black crow flew by and missed her. Paul didn't seem pleased that his Honchkrow was doing so poorly. "Turn around and use Night SLASH!" Paul growled, looking a little irritated.

Honchkrow quickly change its direction as it once again uses Night Slash and heads straight towards Val. As the black crow was inching closer to the female mouse, Val waste no time as she jumps up, avoiding another Night Slash attempt. Now Val was in mid-air, which Paul took notice. "Go after it, use Aerial Ace!" Paul ordered coldly.

The black crow obeyed. It flew upwards at an incredible speed towards the vulnerable Val. Peter bit his lip. He knew his Pikachu can't defend herself in mid-air. He was screwed. Paul let out a satisfied smirk to see the flaw within his opponent's strategy.

POW!

"Pi-KA!" Val squeaked in pain when Honchkrow collided into her.

The yellow mouse starts pummeling downward fast. Peter needs to come up with something and fast. "Hurry Val, use Thunderbolt at Honchkrow!" The blonde ordered. Was this a last resort act before Val crashes to the ground? Who knows? Only Peter knows. The female mouse heard her trainer's order. As she was inching closer to the ground, she did a back flip so she can see her target. "Piiika-Chuuuuuuuu!" Val fires an electric bolt straight forward at the hovering crow.

ZAP!

"KRRROWWWWWWWWW!" Honchkrow cried in agony. The dark crow got electrocuted again. Its entire body was now paralyzed. You can see electricity sparks around its body. The dark/flying type starts pummeling downward to the ground fast.

Val and Honchkrow crash landed hard to the ground, creating a cloud of dust from where they landed. From the sidelines, Ash's group looks on curiously to see who won this battle. Peter and Paul stood by, waiting for the clouds of dust to disappear. They were also anxious to see who won the first round.

Suddenly, the dust clouds subsided. The group including both competitors looks surprised to see Val barely standing on her feet while Paul's Honchkrow was lying on the ground with swirly eyes. Brock took notice of this and signals the end of the first round. "Honchkrow is unable to battle. The first round goes to Peter and his Pikachu!" The breeder announced, making Ash and his group cheered happily.

"Way a go, Peter!"

"Take that Paul!"

"In your face, jerk!"

"Hooray for Paul!"

The blonde looks embarrassed by his friends' compliments while Paul was pissed about his Honchkrow's poor performance. The angry trainer ignored the cheering as he recalled his KO Pokemon back to its Pokeball. Paul gripped onto the ball tightly and glared at it. "Pathetic. What a sorry excuse of performance you show at there. I will deal with you later." He said loudly, which angered the group about his rude remarks to his own Pokemon. The cold-hearted trainer puts away his Honchkrow's Pokeball and pulls out a different Pokeball. "Magmortar, standby for battle!" He tossed his Pokeball.

"Mag!" The flame buffed up-looking humanoid creature shouted, staring at its small opponent. Val looks a little intimidated by the appearance of her new opponent. There was a defiantly a size disadvantage.

Peter turned to his Pikachu and can tell that she was little tired from her battle against Paul's Honchkrow. Maybe it was time to switch off but before he can do that, he needed to ask Val if it was alright with her to step aside. "Val, can you continue? Maybe I should………" He paused, seeing Val shook her head. It seems like she wanted to continue. "Are you sure?"

"Pika!"

The blonde smiled. The judge of the battle glanced at the two battlers. "Are both trainers ready?" Brock asked, gaining nods from both Peter and Paul. "Then begin!"

"Val, use Rain Dance!" Peter ordered. This of course, caught everyone right off by surprise. Did Peter just say Rain Dance? It was rare to see a Pikachu perform a water-type move.

Val obeyed. The small mouse formed a small water sphere with her hands and shot it straight up to the sky. Within seconds, the sky darkens as black clouds hover over the area. Rain drops started to fall from the clouds. Paul didn't look too impressed with the little drizzle since his Magmortar didn't flinch from the rain drops when they touched its body. "You think a little drizzle can stop me? Think again. Magmortar, use Flamethrower!"

The flame humanoid lifted up one of cannon-like arms and took aim at the yellow mouse. From its cannon-like arm, came out an intense blast of flames that was heading towards Val. "Val, use Thunderbolt!"

The yellow mouse obeyed. Val fired her Thunderbolt straight at the Flamethrower. The electric bolt collided into the Flamethrower but it seems the blazing inferno didn't lack in power as it pushes the Thunderbolt right back and the Flamethrower collided into Val.

BAM!

"Pi-KA!" Val squeaked in pain when the blazing inferno collided into her and engulfed her entire body. The burnt up mouse flew back and landed on the ground with burnt marks on her face and KO expression on her face. Peter and Co. gasped in surprise. Val was beaten in one hit. Wasn't because she was already tired or was it the fact that Paul's Magmortar has gotten a lot stronger? Either way, the round was over and the win goes to Paul. The cold-hearted trainer smirked, looking satisfied.

"Pikachu is unable to battle. The second round goes to Paul and his Magmortar!" Brock announced. There were several boos being sent to the purple haired teen from Homura and Olivia but he just ignored them. Magmortar let out a victory cry while Peter pulls out his Pokeball so he can recall back his Pikachu.

"Good job, Val. Enjoy a nice long rest." The blonde replied warmly, putting away Val's Pokeball. Peter stared at Paul and his Magmortar. It seems like this could be troublesome. Peter doesn't have any Pokemon that can measure up to the flame Pokemon's power. But it didn't seem like he was worried about that since the first step of his secret plan was set. He Peter pulls out a different Pokeball and tosses it. "Let's show them what you got, Cupid!"

"Luuu!" The pink-looking fish said sweetly. This of course, made Dawn and two girls squeaked again to see such an adorable and cute Pokemon. It was pretty obvious that Peter have the type advantage again but not for long.

Paul smirked as he quickly calls back his fire-type to its Pokeball and tosses a different one. "Torterra, standby for battle!"

"Toooorrrrr-TEEERRRA!" The giant-looking grass turtle shouted loudly. It looks like Paul has the type advantage now unless he switches but it didn't look like it's going to happen. The blonde trainer stood by with his choice.

"Are both trainers ready?" Brock asked, glancing at the two trainers. They nodded. "Then begin!"

"Torterra, use Leaf Storm!" Paul ordered.

The giant Pokemon obeyed. Razor, sharp leaves storms out from Torterra's back and sped towards the pink fish. The blonde smirked, seeing the storm of sharp leaves heading straight forward at Luvdisc. Didn't Paul forget about the rain and Cupid's special ability? "Dodge it, Cupid!"

With no time to waste, Cupid swiftly dodged the storm of leaves with an incredible speed. Its quickness was twice as fast as normal due to the Rain Dance's presence and its special ability, Swift Swim. If you thought Paul was worried, well think again. The cold-hearted trainer just stood there, emotionlessly. He looks on as his Torterra continues to use Leaf Storm while Luvdisc continues to move swiftly, avoiding the attack. Torterra's attempt lasted for several minutes. What was Paul's plan? Was he trying to tire out Cupid by using brute force? Or was he cooking up something else? Either way, he hasn't issue out another command for the past four minutes. He just let his Torterra continued to use Leaf Storm.

Suddenly, the Rain Dance subsided. The rain clouds disappeared as the bright sun and clear sky returned. So that was Paul's plan. He was trying to hold on until the Rain Dance subsided so Luvdisc's ability would end. Smart move on his end. "Torterra, now that the little annoying drizzle is gone, use Hyper Beam!"

The giant Pokemon obeyed. Torterra's opens its mouth and fires a powerful beam straight at Cupid. Was this a wise choice to do? It didn't seem to bother Paul at all. However, it didn't bother Peter at all either. The blonde looks on as the powerful beam was inching closer to his Cupid until it was time to act. "Cupid, use Bounce then follow it up with Sweet Kiss!" Peter ordered.

Cupid obeyed. The pink fish bounced up high, avoiding the Hyper Beam in the process. Now this was an opportunity to attack since Torterra can't move after it performed Hyper Beam so tough luck for Paul. Cupid opens its mouth and several mini-shaped hearts collided into the giant turtle-looking Pokemon. It did no damage but yet looks can be deceiving. It can cause confusion.

Paul stood there calmly and looks on to see his Torterra getting popped by mini-hearts. He thought that attack was pathetic since he trained his Pokemon to resist those kinds of attacks. "Pathetic." He spat. "Giga Drain on that sorry excuse of a Pokemon!'

Torterra obeyed. Suddenly, with no chance of dodging the attack, Luvdisc was quickly ensnarled by three green-looking energy vines. The green vines pull Cupid closer to Torterra as the giant Pokemon use Crunch to keep a good grip on the pink fish. "Luuuuu!" Cupid cried in pain. It was feeling Torterra's teeth digging into its body. But that wasn't the worst of it; Cupid's energy was getting drained. Peter needed to do something before it's too late.

"Cupid, break free by using Water Gun! Hurry!"

Cupid listen to its trainer's order as the pink fish opens its mouth and blasted Torterra in the face with a forceful shot of cold water, hoping that the giant Pokemon would let go of its grip but to no avail. The Water Gun wasn't doing anything. Torterra was taking it like it was nothing to it. Peter needed to come up with a different plan. Then it hit him. "Cupid, use Ice Beam!"

The pink fish quickly obeyed. Cupid opens its mouth and musters all its energy to fire an icy-cold of energy at Torterra. The Ice Beam hit its mark as the giant Pokemon winched in pain but continued to hold its grip on Cupid and its ground. Despite, suffering from its weakness, Torterra was being a tough cookie as it was enduring the pain.

Suddenly, Torterra's body started to freeze up as it slowly becomes a frozen icicle. As Torterra and its entire being engulfed in a block of ice, Cupid fell to the ground with swirly eyes. It must have use up all its last energy to perform Ice Beam. Brock took notice that both Pokemon couldn't continued on. "That's it, both Pokemon are unable to battle. Therefore, this round is a draw." The breeder announced, making Ash and his group gasped in surprise.

"Oh come on." Olivia whined childishly.

Peter and Paul ignored the female's whine as they both recalled their Pokemon back to their Pokeballs. The blonde congratulated his Pokemon's effort while Paul would scold at Torterra for its lame performance. Both trainers are evenly matched. The score between them is one win, one lost, and a draw. Both of them were down to their third Pokemon. This last round will decide who will win and who will lose. As Peter pulls out his third Pokeball and gripped tightly while he stares at Paul, who stares back until something unexpected happens.

"Let's call it a draw." Paul replied coldly, making everyone including Peter gasped in shock.

"WHAT?!"

Phew! Done! A shocking ending to a fierce battle, ain't it? Sorry about that. I needed to end it since I was getting lazy. I hope you like this chapter minus the whole lazy part thing. Please review and comment on it. See ya later! Peace out Guys! ^_____^
