Ash's Precious Little Girl - Homura's Special IV: Thoughts on Cynthia!
(Sunnyshore City: The beach)
"Big sister?"
"…Hmm?"
"I haven't known you for too long now, but I know that you are a really, really nice person." The little blonde girl said to the blonde-haired woman, who was lying on her stomach on a beach towel with her head resting on top of her arms. She had her eyes close shut. Homura and Cynthia were underneath a beach umbrella while everyone else went off to swim in the water. The little blonde girl wanted to take the time to get to know a little bit better with Cynthia since they barely have a conservation together.
"…Hmm?" The relaxing Cynthia let out a small smile on her face. She was listening to Homura while being comfortable at the same time.
"However, when I first met you, why you look so calm and tough-looking?"
Cynthia let out a soft giggle. "That's how I am." Homura looks dumbfounded by the Champion's answer. "That's how all experiencing trainers and champions like me have to act."
"What do you mean?" Homura asked, tilting her head in confusion.
The Champion opens her eyes and lifts her head up slowly. "It's simple. When we, like me, Lance, or some other high experience trainers goes out into public or engage into a battle, we have to have our game faces on. It helps to keep our status as an elite trainer." The little blonde girl still looks confused. Cynthia chuckled at her expression. The Champion got into a sitting position. "To make things simpler for you to understand, Homura, we are like a role model to upcoming trainers if we act calm, tough, and professional or otherwise they won't follow our examples and becomes a bad role model to the next generation of trainers."
"Oh…I think I understand…um…sort of…" The Champion giggled.
"Don't worry about it, Homura, others like you won't understand it either until the day comes when you have to set a good example to the upcoming trainers one day."
"I see…like Daddy?" The Champion nodded. "Okay then, I will be like Daddy one day. I will be a good example, whatever that means."
"I assure will. Just like my protégé, A-Ash…" Cynthia said, slightly blushing when she mention Ash's name.
"You know what, big sister?"
"Yes Homura?"
"No wonder Daddy likes you. You are really, really smart and nice." The little blonde girl complimented, smiling at the blonde-haired woman.
"Why thank you, Homura. You are really something, too. You are sweet and kind-hearted like your Daddy." Cynthia returns the compliment, making the little girl grinned.
"You bet. You are kind-hearted, too. That's why I look up to you as a big sister."
"And I'm happy to hear that, Homura. You are the first to say that to me. We, blondes have to stick together, you know." The Champion said, making her fellow blonde girl giggled.
"That's right!" Homura chirped in agreement.
Silent.
A quiet silence fell between the two blonde girls. They have no a clue what to say next until Homura brought up something that Olivia once mention before. "Do you love Daddy?"
"W-What?" Cynthia stuttered, blushing madly. Why brought this up so suddenly? Oh…right. Olivia. The Champion should take a note. Murder Olivia later.
"Do you love Daddy?" Homura repeated her question.
"W-Why do you want to ask this?" Cynthia questioned the little girl's motives.
"I have a feeling that you do love Daddy. If so, then you are another rival."
'Rival? To who?'
"So do you?" Homura asked in curiosity, staring at the older blonde girl for an answer.
"Well, I'm not sure if the feeling that I'm feeling towards Ash right now is love. I cannot answer that. For now, I have a lot of respect and admiration towards him. Ash is a one of a kind trainer, who rarely shows up. He cares and treats everyone including Pokemon as equals. He's someone I need to look out for if we battle someday."
"So…Is that a yes or a no?"
Cynthia giggled. Homura blinked confusedly. "Maybe you should ask that some other time, I probably will give you an answer then."
"So…for now?"
"I respect your Daddy, even if he is cute-looking." The Champion said, giggling.
"I see…" Homura still did not look too convinced. She has a gut feeling that Cynthia does have feelings for the young trainer, but will not admit it just yet.
"Does that answer your question?"
"Hmm…Half and half." The little blonde girl said, shrugging.
"Well, that's good to hear…I think…" Homura nodded.
"Since we are on this topic, can I ask you something then, Homura?" The little blonde girl nodded again. "What gave you the idea that I-I love Ash?" The Champion blushed when she ask this.
"Um…"
"Did Olivia give you the idea?"
"No. I figure it out when your face always turns red, each time we mention Daddy's name. Just like now." It was true. Cynthia blushes, each time Ash's name comes up.
"Oh…I can explain that." Cynthia tried to explain.
"Really?"
"Y-Yes."
"Oh…Tell me then." Homura pleaded. The Champion was about to give her explanation when suddenly they heard a familiar voice.
"Homura, Cynthia!" The two blonde girls turned their heads to see Ash walking up to them, waving.
Suddenly, the young trainer trips over a sandy structure of a Corphish when he was walking. Ash lost his balance and fell forward towards Cynthia.
POW!
"OW!" Ash and Cynthia groaned in pain.
"Daddy, Cynthia! Are you…" Homura paused when she noticed that Ash and Cynthia were in awkward positions. Ash fell on top of the Champion. The pair quickly realized that their faces were an inch apart. They both blushed madly.
"Uh…" The Master and her protégé could not find any words to say about their awkward positions and to make things more awkward. Ash's right hand was on Cynthia's right boob and he was accidentally squeezing it. This was a big misunderstanding, but the pair kinda feels comfortable about it.
"Hey Ash! What are you…" Peter and Colby walk up and notice the pair's awkward positions. Peter turns his head to his companion, smirking.
"You owe me a hundred dollars, Colby. I knew he would make a move on Cynthia."
"Damn it!"
A/N: Funny moment! Peter and Colby made a bet behind everyone's backs. Poor Ash! He was today's victim. However, I hope you like this light moment between them. Ash with Cynthia is one of my favorite pairings! Stay tuned and wait next time to see who will be the next victim! Please R & R! Thank you! Until next time, folks! ^_^
