Ash's Precious Little Girl - Homura's Special VI: Thoughts on Peter!
(Sunnyshore City: The beach)
"Um…Peter?"
"Yeah, Homura?"
"Hmm…um…" The blonde pair was sitting on their beach blankets under the beach umbrella, watching the others playing beach volleyball. Homura wanted to start a conversation with Peter. However, she does not have the slightest clue about him.
"Is there something on your mind?"
"Um…" Homura stared at Peter closely. She crossed her arms together and pressed them against her chest.
"Take your time, Homura." The blonde trainer assured the little girl. Homura nodded.
Ash's adopted daughter shut her eyes and pondered some more. Peter watched the little girl closely. She was making some 'um' and 'hmm' noises. Suddenly, the blonde girl shot wide opened. It seems like something came to her. "Peter…I know that you're friendly and nice, right?"
"Uh…I guess so…" Peter said uncertainly.
"Hmm…Interesting." Homura said, nodding. Peter sweat dropped. How was that interesting? "…And you're a Pokemon trainer like Daddy, right?"
"Uh…yeah? You saw me face Paul in a battle a while ago, Homura. Of course, I am a trainer. I'm not coordinator."
"I see…" Homura nodded again. "…And you have a battle style similar to Daddy's, right?"
"Uh…maybe? I think I do. We do have a quite of few battle strategies similar to each other." Peter said uncertainly. What is up with all the random questions he had to answer? Was this a survey or something?
"I see…"
"Uh…Homura? What's up with the random questions?" Peter asked in curiosity. He did not want to offend her, but all these questions were stupid. Everyone in the group should have known this by now.
"Oh…I just wanted to have a conversation with you, that's all." The blonde girl said, giggling.
"Oh…"
"So, far…It's been fun. You have been honest and nice to me. I like talking to you, Peter."
"Oh…No problem." Peter said uncertainly, giving the little blonde girl a grin.
"Do you like the beach?"
"Of course, I do. It is fun to go to the beach during the summertime. There are a lot of things we can do." Peter said, grinning.
"Yup!" Homura chirped in agreement.
"Are you having fun?" Peter asked in a calm and kind tone of voice.
"Yup! I enjoy spending time with Daddy at the beach." The little blonde girl squeaked happily.
"You must like Ash a lot, huh?"
"Of course! I love Daddy so much!"
"That's cool. Ash is an interesting dude and an excellent trainer. No wonder you like him so much. I have a feeling that you are in love with your Daddy instead of just loving Ash as a father-figure, right?" Peter said, grinning mischievously.
"WHAT!" Homura squeaked in embarrassment. "What makes you think that?"
"Just a thought." The blonde trainer simply put it, shrugging.
"I see…Well, I do love Daddy very much."
"I can see that. I always see you clinging onto him." Peter stated.
"Not always." Homura said, pouting cutely. The blonde trainer rolled his eyes.
"Yes, you do."
"Not right now." The little blonde girl stated. It was true. She was not clinging onto Ash right now.
"True, but most of the time, you do."
"Okay, okay, fine I do." Homura said, pouting cutely. "Happy?"
Peter shrugged. "Good enough."
"You're mean."
"I was just stating the fact. Either way, I made a point. Case close."
"Whatever." The little blonde girl said, still pouting.
"So…Have you done anything yet with your Daddy?" Peter changed the subject.
"Not yet. We haven't built a sand castle together yet or play volleyball."
"I thought I saw you went swimming with Ash earlier?" The blonde trainer asked, scratching his head in confusion.
"No. It's was me, Dawn, and Olivia went swimming. Daddy was too busy eating hotdogs."
"Uh…okay." Peter did not know eating hotdogs counts as being busy. It was a first to him then. "Anyways, speaking of Olivia…" He glanced around the beach and saw no sign of Olivia anywhere. "Where's Olivia? I don't see anywhere."
The little blonde girl blinked in confusion. Soon, she found herself glancing around the beach, as well and saw no sign of Olivia, as well. "You're right, Peter. I do not see anywhere. I thought she was lying underneath the umbrella and taking a…"
"HELP!" Olivia's voice cut Homura off. This caught the pair's attention. "SOMEBODY! ANYBODY! HELP!"
"It's Olivia and it sounds like she's in trouble." Peter nodded in agreement. "Let's go!" The pair got up and ran towards the direction, where they heard the voice coming from.
It took a few minutes to track down, where Olivia's voice was coming from. Once they arrived on the scene, they could not help, but laugh softly when they found Olivia's head sticking out from the sand. "Hey Olivia…What happened to…you? Y-You l-look…"
"Different." Homura said, giggling.
"Very funny, guys. Can't you stop laughing now and help me out here?" The angry head of Olivia asked in annoyance.
"What happened?" Peter asked in a calm voice.
"I don't know. One second I was enjoying my ice-cream cone and the next a group of little kids mugged me out of nowhere and bury me in the sand." Olivia explained. "Stupid brats."
"Why didn't you shout out for help earlier?" Peter questioned.
"I did!" Olivia protested. "Ash saw me, but he walk pass me because he was too busy eating his hotdogs. I can't believe Ash abandon me like this." She cried.
"I guess it's true then. Eating hotdogs make someone busy." Peter mumbled incredibly.
"What?"
"Never mind. Come on, Homura. Let's help her out." Homura nodded in agreement. The pair started to unbury Olivia out of the sand.
One thing was for sure and that was…Never ask Ash for help when he's too busy eating hotdogs.
A/N: Poor Olivia! She was today's victim of humor. LOL. Ash and his hotdogs. You know how Ash loves to eat and this proves it. Nothing stops him from being busy eating. Well, stay tuned and find out who will be the next victim of humor. Please R & R! Thank you! Until next time, guys! ^_^
