Chapter Fourteen-Memories

A blonde haired 5 year old beauty saw a tall bronze skinned lanky boy standing on the playground. He watched as girls giggled fixing there hair and trying to push up their new breast (Daddy had told them that what they where called) , the boy looked angry and alone, his hands shoved deep inside his pockets. Bella Swan-one of the prettiest girls in school with her wild dark brown curls and chocolate eyes, had her eyes on him, and the young blonde could see why-he couldn't take his eyes off the bronze lanky boy. Suddenly the boy shifted his eyes toward the group of 7th graders- his eyes seemed uninterested as he ran over all the girls till they landed on Bella Swan, they winded slightly then drooped back into boredom. Feeling nervous the five year old reached up to touch his pendent as he always did and noticed it was gone, Papa had given it to him and it was special . Turning he rushed back in the school,to look for it;he couldn't loose it! Rushing into the classroom he saw it right on the floor-it broke from around his to pick it up the class room door slammed closed; he turned to see Bella, with Lauren and Sara, two of her best friends.

''What's up baby daffy" she crooned Edward held back the tears, they always made fun of him, all the younger levels shared a playground; Edward loved to read daffy duck books in the corner-he was to shy to talk to the other kids; and some didn't even like him. Sara snatched his pendent from his hand. ''Give it back!'' Edward cried

"Give it back!'' they mimicked smiling Sara was about to throw it when the door flew open…

"Boys don't play tea party" Rachel McCormick said in a snobby tone, herself, and Ria Adams stormed over to where shy Edward sat in his own world, he had set all the dolls up smiling and hugging each one of them and gave them all one colorful beads necklace setting up the table, placing cups in front of each of them and filling them will imaginary tea. He was about to reach into his book bag to get the last important part-his Nana has made real cookies! When Rachel and Ria appeared; Edward didnt like to go outside much-he was bullied and Mrs. Honey let him stay in as long as long as he was a good boy.

"Why not?" he whispered, Jazzy played it with him all the time at home and so did Mommy; why was is bad for him to play it here?

"Because its for girls!" Ria huffed, she pushed him out the chair. "You're a boy! Not a girl and only girls play tea party not boys, why are you so weird?" Edward tried not to let the tears come to his eyes, Rachel was about to destroy his table when the bronzed lanky tall kid walked in- Edward couldnt keep his eyes away from him.

"What are you doing?" his voice was low, and eyes where like lines-black lines.

"N-n-nothing Jacob."

Jacob.

That's a nice name .

Jacob jerked his head to the side and the two girls ran out quickly; Jacob turned to him his dark eyes ran over him quickly and Edward blushed clutching his pendent, He didn't think he would see Jacob again, this was the second time he had saved him him from a group of girls .

"H-hello"

Jacob walked towards him pulling him up and placing him in the car, he then grabbed another chair and sat across from him grabbing the tiny cup in his larger hand sipping it while he looked at Edward who was smiling brightly.

"Got cookies?" Jacob asked and Edward reached into his book bag pulling out the tin can pushing it slowly towards him.

"Higher Jake Higher!"Jacob grinned complying with his beautiful boys request; his laughter was infectious; and Jacob never felt more happier when he was with the angel in front of him.

"Okay Jake I'm going to jump!" Jacob quickly ran to the front as Edward took of into the sky and landed in to his arms. Jacob stumbled a bit but manged to stay upright holding the small boy. He smiled placing him down and Edward hugged him patting his back.

"Tag! You're it." His tiny legs ran off quickly and Jacob took after him; he didn't understand what he was feeling he just knew he liked being around Edward; the younger was amazing with his bright smile and golden hair, he made his heart pump fast and seeing him happy made Jacob happy-he would do anything to make Edward happy. Catching up to him; he ran quicker seeing Bella Swan- he had the hugest crush on her; but after seeing her bully Edward he started to rethink that. Walking up to them he stood behind Edward looking at Bella who smiled sweetly at him.

"Jacob!"

"Bella what are you doing here?"

"I wanted to apologize to Edward, I know what I did was wrong and stupid." Jacob raised an eyebrow and looked at Edward who nodded and turned back to Jacob.

"Can we go finish playing?" Jacob grinned nodding.

"Go get the bat we can practice hitting the ball" Edward smiled rushing off to get it, Jacob turned to Bella who looked at him with wide eyes.

"I really am sorry Jake, do you think we can talk over recess tomorrow?" Jacob rubbed the back of his neck, biting his lip .

"I don't know Bella I usually spend it with Edward."

"You can spend this on without him, I really want to show you how sorry I am." Jacob nodded signing and turned on his heel away from her; he couldn't help the feeling of giddiness that went through him.

Loud sobs reached Jacob as he walked down the hallway from his lunch with Bella; she was great, funny and sweet even giving him cookies that he saved for Edward. She told her two friend in front of him to go apologize to Edward and Jacob grinned- he judged her, she was honestly sweet and beautiful. He was glad he had the lunch with her, shaking his head he followed the sobs tot he eight grade corridor; they had the best bathroom and Jacob wanted to wash up before finding Edward; there was fifteen minutes left before lunch started. The sounds where coming out of the janitor closet; opening it; he dropped to the floor quickly.

Edward.

He was tied up with gray duck tape; around his mouth, stomach and feet. Tears ran down his beautiful face and Jacob felt his heart hurt, fishing out the scissors from his book bag he cut him loose quickly and Edward fell into his arms crying softly.

"Who did this to you?" Edward shook his head clutching him closer not wanting to speak.

"We have to go,come on." picking him up in his arms they quickly left the hall.

Edward never told Jacob it was Bella's goons who did that to him; he never told him how much he bullied him- and Jacob got even closer to Bella, shutting Edward out and giving Bella's goons more room to attack him.

Till the day he didn't come back, or the next day, or the next week-Jacob didn't understand where Edward was; he shut everyone out and pushed Bella away; Edward was gone-the light of his seven year old world was gone and it hurt. Rocking on his bed he looked out the window, why did he have to go? Why did he leave?

Edward gasped pulling away from Jacob, his eyes full of hurt.

"You, you left me-just like Harry." A sob came out of his throat; his body shook as he stared at Jacob wanted nothing more then to fall back into his arms; he knew that Jacob was familiar and didn't understand why he was; didn't understand why he felt so comfortable with him. Then his anger grew; he abandoned him for Bella Swan! And his Parents! His Family! Did-did they know about this? His head started to hurt, thoughts flew through his head of suppressed memories and rolled up his confusion more; why didn't they tell him? Why is this happening now?

"Lamb we where kids-I" Edward putt] his hands over his ears he didn't want to hear it; he didn't want to hear anything right now; everything was to much. Standing up he ran deeper into the forest; he didn't know how to feel right now, who to talk about this and if he even wanted to talk at all, stumbling over a rock he let the tears roll again his emotions rushing over him and sobbing out his mouth. The crunch of a stick made him look up to see a person he didn't think he would see again.
