Ash's Precious Little Girl - CH XX: ^~^ A Utter Defeat! ^~^

(The hotel's cafeteria)

"So let me get this straight…" Xotes or a.k.a. Alex spoke up, eying at his opponent, who was sitting across from him. "You lost in the final round…" Ash and Co. nodded. "And after thinking long and hard, you wanted to retire your license and quit being a Pokemon trainer." The overcoat-wearing stranger sums it up. Ash and Co. nodded again.

"Yup. That was basically it." Dawn clarified.

The group was discussing about the earlier conversation they had before. Well, since Ash could not battle Alex with an empty stomach, everyone took the time to head down to the hotel's cafeteria and fetch a little snack for Ash's sake. Once they were down in the cafeteria, the group decided to tell their new friend about Ash's earlier development. As the group told the overcoat-wearing stranger about everything, Alex could not believe his eyes. Was Ash serious on tossing away everything he worked so hard for down the drain? If so, what was he thinking?

"What were you thinking, Ash?" Alex asked his newly friend in disbelief. Ash scratched the back of his head in embarrassment.

"That's what we said to him earlier." Brock said, chuckling. Homura nodded in agreement.

"Uh-huh." She chirped. "But we don't have to worry about that anymore." Alex titled his head in confusion. "Daddy changed his mind thanks to us!"

"Ooh…Huh?" The overcoat-wearing stranger did not quite catch what did the little blonde girl just said a second ago about Ash. Did she just call Ash, her daddy? Should he be curious about that? Maybe it was for the best if he did not know the reason why Homura call Ash, her father. It was not his business to butt into people's private lives anyways.

"That's right." Dawn spoke up, making Alex turn his attention to the blue-haired Pokemon coordinator. "Ash was about to give up on his dreams to become a Pokemon Master until we gave him a little pep talk that made him changed his decision. Isn't that right, Ash?" Dawn turns her attention to her crush, who was stuffing his face with three hamburgers at the same time.

The hungry trainer pause his eating and turn his attention to Dawn. "Mmm…uh….Puy! On erom gnivig pu!" Ash talked with his mouth full. Everyone sweat dropped.

"Uh…I guess I'll take that as a yes?" The young girl said awkwardly. Ash nodded.

"I afraid so…" Alex said, chucking nervously.

"DADDY! YOU ARE BEING GROSS! CLOSE YOUR MOUTH!" Homura was being gross out by her daddy's bad eating habits. Ash took the hint to chew and swallow his food before talking. The young trainer took a big gulp and swallowed his food down.

"Oh…sorry…" Ash said in embarrassment. The group rolled their eyes.

"Anyways…It's great to hear that you decided not to quit on your dreams and move forward." Alex spoke up. Ash nodded.

"Yeah. Just because I lost in the final round of Suzuran Conference does not mean I have to give up. I just have to try even harder the next time I enter the next league competition. Once then, I will it all!" The young trainer announced with high-spirit enthusiasm. The group smiled. Ash was back to his normal self.

"Well, that's good to hear, Ash. Good luck." The overcoat-wearing stranger said, supporting his newly friend.

"Thanks, Alex."

"No problem."

"So with that out of the way, are you two ready for your battle?" Brock asked the competitors. Alex nodded.

"I'm ready. It is going to be interesting to battle against the runner-up of the Suzuran Conference. Isn't that right, Ash?"

"You bet, Alex! I am hype up for this! But first, there's something I need to finish…" The young trainer informed. The group raised an eyebrow. What was it that Ash needed to finish?

"Need to finish what, Ash?" Dawn asked curiously.

"I am curious about that as well, Daddy. What is it that you needed to finish?"

"That's simply. I cannot battle against Alex until I finish another helping stack of hamburgers first! I'm still hungry!" Ash chirped, causing everyone to fall down to the ground, anime-style. The young trainer blinked confusedly. "What?"

"Oh, Daddy…You need to stop eating so much. You're going to get fat and I don't want to have a fat daddy." The little blonde girl told her adopted father.

"Hey! I cannot help it that I love to eat. I am a growing boy. I need food!" Ash argued, pouting cutely. His group shook their heads.

"We can see that, Ash. Out of everyone here, YOU by far eat the most!" Dawn points out the fact.

"HEY!" Dawn and the group giggled. Ash continues to pout. "You guys are mean."

"Hurry up and finish eating, Daddy. I want to see you battle against Alex." Homura spoke up. Her daddy frowned.

"Fine!" Ash huffed as he went back to his meal. The group continued to laugh at him.

"You are one interesting guy, Ash." Alex complimented, chuckling.

(Scene change: Outside the hotel)

After an hour or two of waiting for Ash to be done with his meal, it was time to head out, so Ash and Alex can have their one-on-one battle. Unfortunately, the gang could not use any of the battlefields since the Suzuran Conference is over. The battlefields were no longer available to the public. That sucks. The only thing the group can do now is to have Ash and Alex's battle outside the hotel.

As the group settles in, there was no need for anyone to be the referee to call things down the middle. This battle was a friendly one. However, unaware to Ash and the others, this battle was also for Alex's benefits. The overcoat-wearing visitor wanted to test Ash's strength to see how well he can match up against the Suzuran Conference's runner-up. This was going to be an interesting battle to watch.

Standing from the sidelines as they watch Ash and Alex take their positions was Homura, Dawn, and Brock. They were anxious to see who will win this match. To Homura's eyes, it was hands down that her adopted father would win this fight. However, to Dawn and Brock's eyes, they were not quite sure if Ash can win this battle. Do not get the wrong idea; they do support Ash in every way. They just do not know how capable he can be in a match since they have not seen him in action before. This battle can go either way. Who knows? Only time will tell.

As the battle gets on its way, a certain blonde girl could not help, but cheers on her daddy. "KICK HIS BUTT, DADDY!"

"Homura!" Dawn scolded her little adopted sister. It was really rude to shout things like that.

"What, big sister? Don't you want Daddy to win this or do you want Alex to beat Daddy?" Homura questioned the blue-haired Pokemon coordinator while she held onto her Eevee and pressed him against her.

"I do want Ash to win, but at the same time, I don't want him to lose either." Dawn started to explain. The little blonde girl gave her a 'What's the problem?' look. "I just want to see Ash and Alex give their all and once this is over. There will be no winners and no losers."

"Ooh…so you wanted to support them both then?" Dawn nodded. "Okay, I'll do that, too."

"And I'll bet that you are going to support Ash the most." The blue-haired Pokemon coordinator said, giggling.

"Uh-huh!" Homura nodded happily.

"Then let's do it together then!"

"YAY!" Homura cheered cheerfully. As the two girls were preparing to cheer Ash on the most, a lonely Pokemon breeder could not help, but pour out anime tears from his eyes. He was so jealous of Ash right now.

'Why can't that be ME? What is Ash's secret to get girls to cheer for him? What is it? I need to know!' Brock cried within his mind. Oh, Brock. When will he ever learn that Ash has no secrets in getting girls? It is all about the person's personality and charm. But oh, well. Brock will learn about it some other time. Right now, it was time to witness Ash and Alex's one-on-one battle, not Brock's love life issues.

"Are you ready, Ash?" Ash nodded. "Then choose your Pokemon?" Alex told his opponent.

"I already did! I choose Pikachu!" The young trainer said, pumping up with enthusiasm. Pikachu jumps off his trainer's shoulders and lands right in front of Ash with electricity sparking out from his red cheeks.

("Bring it on!") The yellow mouse was pump up and ready for action just like his trainer. The brown-haired opponent hid a smirk.

"Not bad of choice. I should have known you would choose Pikachu because I was going to choose Pikachu as well." Ash blinked confusedly. Alex chuckled softly. "You will see what I mean right now. GO!" The overcoat-wearing stranger pulls out a Pokeball from his coat's pocket and tosses it.

In a bright flash of light, Alex's Pikachu appeared, ready for battle. ("AH! Finally, some fresh air!") It squeaked, stretching out its aching muscles.

Dead silent.

Ash and the group, except for Alex looks stunned when they saw Alex's Pikachu. His small mouse was completely white, which was either strange or surprising. Was it a shiny Pikachu or something? Ash and his group have never encountered something like this before. Where did Alex get it? Many questions skyrocketed inside Ash and his group at this moment. This was a rare treat to witness a white Pikachu right in front of them.

However, Alex's partner did not share the same assumptions like Ash and his group. Their stares were irritating the white mouse to its core. ("What? Never seen a white mouse before?") It squeaked in a warning tone. The brown-haired boy could not help, but chuckled at his partner's expression and at Ash and his group.

"Wh-Wh-Where did you get that…"

"Let's worry about that some other time, Ash. Let's just get our one-on-one battler underway, shall we?" Alex interrupted the young trainer by telling him to focus right back to their little battle. They can worry about Alex's Pikachu some other time.

"OH!" The young trainer stuttered at first, but quickly regained his composure. Alex is right. They have a battle they needed to focus on. Questions can wait afterwards. "Yeah, you're right about that, Alex. Let's do this!" Alex nodded.

"You can have the first move, Ash." Alex kindly offered his opponent the first move.

"Well do, Alex…" Ash took a moment to strategize his first move. The young trainer already knew that both he and Alex are using electric-types. Therefore, electric-type moves will not have much affected on another electric-type. He needed to use a different tactic. "Let's start off with Quick Attack, Pikachu!"

("You got it, Ash!") The yellow mouse lunges forward with some incredible quickness. Alex hid a smirk. Ash was using his head instead being reckless. That was quite surprising. Maybe Ash did mature over the years when he first started his journey. Who knows? Only time will tell.

"If you're going to use Quick Attack then so are we!" The brown-haired stranger instructed his partner to use Quick Attack as well.

("On it!") The white mouse lunges forward as well with some incredible quickness of its own.

Everyone looks on as the two Pikachu charges straight towards each other.

BAM!

The two charging Pokemon collided. They clashed into a deadlock for brief seconds until Alex's white Pikachu overpowered Ash's Pikachu. It pushed back the yellow mouse with force, sending Ash's Pikachu. ("AAHHH!") He flinched slightly as he slid back a few yards.

"PIKACHU! Are you okay?" Pikachu shook off the cobwebs and nodded. Ash sighed in relief. "Okay. Let's try Quick Attack once more time! I have a plan."

("Okay, Ash!") The yellow mouse lunges forward once again with speed. Alex was curious on what was Ash cooking up? He will just have to wait and find out.

"I don't know what are you up to, Ash, but I guess we will have to use Quick Attack again as well!" Alex's white Pikachu lunges forward at Ash's charging Pikachu.

As the two Pikachu were inching closer to one another, Ash took this chance to set his plan in motion. "Quick, Pikachu! Dodge by spinning over it then follows it with Iron Tail!" Alex's eyes slightly widen in surprise when he saw Ash's Pikachu did a little jump.

The yellow mouse curls himself into a ball in mid-air and rolls over the charging white mouse, dodging the Quick Attack. Once Ash's Pikachu was successfully behind his opponent, he quickly swings his glowing tail and slams it against the white mouse. ("Take this!")

POW!

("AAAHHH!") Alex's Pikachu squeaked in pain as it slid back a few feet after the Iron Tail made contact.

"You can take that! That is nothing! Use Quick Attack then follow it up with Rapid Brick Breaks!" Alex instructed his partner.

The white mouse regained its ground before lunged itself against its opponent with quickness and force.

BAM! Pow! Pow! POW!

Once the Quick Attack made contact, Alex's Pikachu's right fist engulfed in a white glow then it unleashed a fury of powerful punches. ("AAAHHH!") Ash's partner felt every hit as he screams in agony.

"PIKACHU!" Ash screamed in worry to see his partner being pulverize out there.

POW!

Alex's Pikachu gave the screaming mouse a final punch before Ash's Pikachu flew back and landed hard on the ground. "PIKACHU!" The yellow mouse struggled to get back up to his feet. He has taken so much heavy damage from the barrage of Brick Breaks. His body was bruise and batter. "Are you okay? Can you continue?"

("…Of course…I think!") The yellow mouse managed to stand on four legs, but he was breathing heavily. Ash looks a bit concern for partner's well-being, but he decides to continue to battle since he knows that his Pikachu wants to continue like him.

"Good! Quick Attack then quickly follow it up Thunderbolt!" Ash ordered.

Ash's Pikachu gathers up his strength and quickly lunges forward at Alex's Pikachu with double the speed.

POW!

("AAHHH!") The white mouse flinched in pain when Ash's Pikachu collded into it. The white mouse did not have time to react since its opponent moved twice as fast, which completely surprised Alex for a brief second.

"What?" Alex was caught off guard when he witness Ash's Pikachu speed was faster than before. How in the world did this happen? However, he did not have time to ponder about that.

ZAP!

A powerful voltage of electricity struck his partner, pushing it back. The electric-type move was doing some damage to the white mouse. "Don't let that push back. Use Iron Tail to knock it right back then quickly follow it up with QUICK ATTACK!" Alex ordered.

("RIGHT!") The white mouse dig deep to swing its tail and knock the Thunderbolt right back at its owner.

ZAP!

("AH!") Ash's Pikachu gritted his teeth in pain. He was suffering from his own attack.

POW!

Adding more damage, Alex's Pikachu collided into him, sending him flying back as he screamed in pain. "PIKACHU!" Ash shouted worriedly to see his best friend landed on the ground hard after the Quick Attack nailed him. "Get up! You need to get up! I know you can take more damage than that!" The yellow mouse did not give up. He got right back up to his four legs. "That's right, Pikachu, don't give up! Now, let's end up with VOLT TACKLE!"

"If you want to end this right now, Ash, then so be it. You use Volt Tackle as well." Alex ordered his partner.

Both Pikachu electrifies themselves with volts of electricity the charges at each other. Everyone held their breath, as the electrified Pokemon were inching closer and closer to one another until…

BOOM!

A big explosion erupted when the two Volt Tackles clashed. Now, everyone was anxious to see who survive this outcome. Who was the victor? Ash? Or…Alex? Who knows? All the group can do is wait for the smoke to clear to see the results. As the black cloud of smoke subsided, everyone saw one figure standing over the other.

Ash and his group gasped in surprise when they saw the bruise and completely battered white mouse standing over a defeated yellow mouse, who was cover in battle wounds and swirly eyes. The battle is over. The winner of this match is Alex and his partner, Pikachu.

One thing was for sure and that was…Ash has lost.
