Hey guys! This is fresh off the press! Please enjoy. Things are starting to reach the climax, you ready?

Ooo, before I forget. Speech that is in italics is spoken in Russian, I figured not too many of us would know Russian :")

Eagles troubles all started when she was in a room talking to a man who was asking about her business, and that's when the Russians knew something was wrong. That's when they knew she wasn't an ultranationalist. The mission went south very quickly, Task force 141 was powerless. Shit happened and the Russians detained her. Task force 141 had no choice but to retreat. Eagle was left with the Russians and strapped to a chair. In the dark. Shit was about to get real!

I pushed open the back door and slipped inside the building. The room was clear. I needed to make it up to the second story to the room that had all the files and data. I was after a hard drive.

I exited the room and started down the hallway. A couple men passed me saying their greetings. I responded and continued on my journey. I found the stairs but I had to first pass the reception desk. I started planning my speech had I get asked what my business was.

The man at the desk looked up at me as I passed by him.

"Oi." He reached out at my arm. I jerked it away from him and stopped facing him, shoving one of my hands into my pocket.

"What's up?" I asked

"What's your business going upstairs? All troops should be outside and be defending the building. So why are you here?" He stood up out of the chair and leaned towards me.

"I uh...was instructed by the general to bring this in. It was found on the body of an imposter." I say holding up a fake floppy disk.

The man narrows his eyes at me. "General you say?"

I nervously nod my head. The man looks at the other men in the room. From the corner of my eye I see one of them advance towards me. I slowly shift my feet so I can fight or run if I needed to. My pocketed hand gripped the smooth wooden handle of a dagger.

The man comes and stands next to me. My muscles tense up.

"I'll escort you. In case, we get attacked again."

"Okay…Thank you." I smile at the man, believing everything's alright now.

As I was walking up the stairs in front of the man I felt something collide with the back of my head. The first blow didn't do much but aggregate me, I turned around, brandishing the dagger. As the man brought his arm back for another blow I took my chance and swiped the entirety of his lower arm. He cried out in pain and dropped his weapon. I took the chance to scramble up the stairs-hands and knees.

I reached the top only to be pushed back by another guy. As I was falling backwards; back down the stairs to the waiting men I hit my head and blacked out.

Ghost was getting nervous; it shouldn't take her this long to do a simple task.

Just as he turned his horse around to view the building from the mountainous area he saw several men run into the building with urgency.

A minute later they came running back out carrying a body.

Ghost stifled a scream as he saw they were carrying Eagles body. He couldn't tell if she was dead or unconscious. But he knew it was her.

He whipped his head around and looked at Soap and the other men. Getting ready to race down there and save her.

"Wait, Simon." Called Soap. "Let's dismount and get a better angle on the situation."

The men dismounted and moved along the scrub closer to Eagles location.

Ghost pulled out his handgun and took aim. Roach yanked it out of his hands.

"Do you want to get her killed, lover boy?" Ghost shot him an angry look but let the issue drop. Roach was right, Eagle couldn't die. Not after his promise earlier in the morning.

They stayed there for a few moments before Soap announced to return to the chopper.

"I'm not leaving her here, Soap. You guys go. I'll meet up with you later."

Soap placed a hand on his arm. "Son, not every soldier can be saved. We'll do what we can from the base. Now, let's go!"

Ghost yanked his arm free of his captain's grip, "Fuck off you, Scottish fuck. I don't need you. I'll do this. I'll be the one to save her. I'll fucken do it all. Just you watch. I'll be back by morning!"

Ghost felt a weight grab his arms and start dragging him. There was no getting away from his team. As much as he hated it, he let them drag him to the helicopter.

I awoke to find myself in the dark. It was so dark I could see just as much with my eyes closed as I could open. I craned my head around the space, trying to figure something out. But I couldn't see the faint glow of light beyond a door or anything other than this darkness.

I could vaguely remember what happened. I fucked up and the Russians knew it so what did they do? They captured me. Now I just had to figure a way out of this mess. There was always a way out of everything but I already had a bad feeling about this place. Just being strapped here to this chair sent shivers up my spine.

I moved my arm about. All I could do was twist it side-to-side slightly. The harsh rope burning into my skin. It reminded me of the time when I was captured by Shepard and the Rangers all those years ago. I was just 12 or 13 when I first experienced torture. I had everything done to me from beatings to water torture to Chinese torture.

Ghost sprinted from the helicopter to the mission room. There he saw Price.

"Price!"

"I'm aware of the situation, Lt" he saw Ghost wasn't wearing his mask and the look on his face immediately made Price start shuffling papers, "Go and round up more people. We'll begin once we have enough."
Ghost ran back out of the room and started going around the base looking for people he could trust and knew wouldn't cock up the mission.

I thought I heard a door open. I couldn't be sure. No light flooded in from anywhere. Anywhere I could see at least. After about two minutes I relaxed slightly, believing the threat had gone, but that's when I felt air brush past me. Quickly I tried to look around the room, without moving me head.

"You're very pretty even in the dark." A thick Russian accent reached out to me in the dark.

"I'm going to have fun with you, malady. Just you wait. You're going to wish you were never born into the family you were. You'll wish you were already dead. But I'm going to keep pushing you to the brink of death, but then I'll stop. And then I'll start again." He let out a hushed laugh. I felt my skin prick as numerous possibilities of what they could do to me flew through my mind.

Roach burst through the doors of every room in the building, rounding up as many of the task force as he could. He bumped into Ghost who then told him to search the base and locate as many soldiers as he could. This was going to be a very important mission. Almost as important as killing Makarov.

I really didn't feel it this chapter. I'm suffering from legit the WORST case of writers block ever. Honestly, it's been something like a year since I updated and so I think it's reflecting in my writing. Personally, I think this chapter was pretty shit. Ah well. I'm kinda getting around the middle of the story now so hopefully things'll start getting better.

Anyway, I would like to thank those who have stuck with me. And those who have so far reviewed, followed or favourited my story. Even those who had simply read my story. I really do thank you!
