Don idly looked around Charlie's office, hands in his pockets. Then Charlie's whiteboard caught his attention. The eraser was the same kind that they used at the office.
"Hey, Charlie, could I borrow your eraser?"
"Want it for the FBI office, do you?" Charlie asked, looking up from his computer with a grin.
"Not exactly," Don said, the pieces still falling into place in his mind. His lips twitched as he imagined Nikki's reaction.
"I thought you normally stayed out of these things."
"I do...but Nikki's first counter offer stinks."
"What did you have in mind?" Charlie slowly asked.
