After another season of wins and training, Lightning and Cruz decide to take a break, but someone has come into the town of Radiator Springs: Jackson Storm. He was found using illegal fuel to win races, so now, if he wants to continue, he has to learn from Lightning and Cruz, and a few others in the town. This will be fun, don't you think?

Meanwhile: Sheriff is reminded of his age, Doc is plotting, Strip is a boy scout busy body, McQueen just wants to keep his reputation intact, and somehow it's all coming back at Chick. He really can't catch a break.

Barely a week after the tiebreaker race, Lightning is whisked off to do post-season interviews and commercials. When Doc joins him in Florida for a televised interview, he begins to see that perhaps the kid's agent isn't as good for him as Lightning might think. (Humanized)

In this universe, humans and vehicles all live and work together. Vehicles typically have human partners, either for business, pleasure, etc. This is a twist on the original Planes movie. Dusty has a best human friend that shares his love of flying. This is their story of how they achieved their dream in the sky.

The final Grand Prix race at Radiator Springs should have brought the closure Lightning need. When London continues to plague his dreams, however, he comes to the brilliant conclusion that sleep just isn't necessary. That goes just about as well as one might imagine it would… (Humanized/Doc Lives)
