Long time no see folks, I know it has been a long time since I posted anything new here, well here is hopefully my return to writing stories on here with a reboot on my old Kingdom Hearts fanmake enjoy.

Kingdom Hearts: DM77 version Prologue
Prologue: The Awakening
Ever since time began people have asked themselves. What truly lives beyond the stars? Are there other worlds like ours or completely different? No one has been able to answer that…until now. Something machine like was falling gracefully underwater. This machine was a robot which was brown and orange on its body, with white circle on his chest, blue optics and an orange horn with a brown gem on his head. As he floated down he looked up to whatever glimmer of light he could see.
"I've been having these weird thoughts lately." He said to himself "Is any of this for real or not?"
He sank deeper in the water till he opened his optics. He found he was not underwater any more but on a beach of a beautiful tropical island. The island had palm trees, a small wooden shed and a small waterfall that came out a cliff. The robot's attention turned to the ocean where he caught sight of another robot. This one was a blue robot resembling a hedgehog with red optics some parts of him with silver as well
The hedgehog robot was simply looking out to the ocean wondering what's out there. A large tidal wave rose from the sea. The hedgehog robot looked back at the brown robot and held out his hand to him. The brown robot quickly tried to reach for the hedgehog robot before the tidal wave hit both of them. The brown robot was sent spiralling back while the hedgehog robot was floating back his hand out for him to accept. The brown robot tried to reach for the hedgehog robot but the water pressure was too much and eventually pushed him back.
His body slowly floated to the surface. He rose out and looked around his surroundings and found that the sun was starting to set and looked to the island. There he saw a female anthro cat this time female waving to him. The robot waved back cheerfully and trudged through the water to her. The female cat was purple with a white muzzle and emerald green eyes she had her hair in a pony tail and she wore a purple coat with white pants and gloves and red heeled shoes
The girl giggled at the robot's earlier antics and looked up to the sky. Curious the male robot looked up to see a random meteor shower along with a figure falling towards them. To the robot's shock the figure was himself unconscious. Suddenly, the robot fell back and passed through the water and everything vanished.
He floated slowly down the water until he landed on, what felt like solid ground. He took one step forward in the darkness. Then a flash of light blinded him temporary and hundreds of beautiful doves flew around him. His optics followed the grateful birds as they disappeared into the darkness. He looked down and noticed he was standing on a circular platform with a blonde haired girl wearing a royal dress with a triangle on her hand and carring a bow with light arrows
"So much to do…" a mysterious voice called.
"Who's there?" the robot said in alarm as he gazed into the darkness. He couldn't see the source of the voice, which made him more worried.
"…So little time" the voice continued.
"Hey? Can you tell me where I am or what's going on?" asked the robot surprised by the voice
"The door is still shut. Do you think you're ready?" the voice asked.
"That depends. Ready for what?" the robot asked.
His answer came with the form of a ray of light which shined through the darkness. He had no idea what's going on. Was this a dream or not? he knew there was only one way to find out. He mustered up all his courage and stepped forward into the light.
"Don't be afraid. The door is still shut. Are you ready?" the voice asked again
"I guess still haven't answered my questions through" answered the robot bravely to the darkness.
All of a sudden 3 flashes of light appeared at three sides of him. When the light disappeared, they were replaced with three pedestals, each with a different weapon, to his left was a shield, to his right was a staff and in front of him was a broad sword. His mind was full of questions which he turned to the darkness for answers.
"The power that sleeps with in you. It will give you form, choose a path and your destiny will become clear." The voice explained.
"So I have choose between these weapons? And what's this about destiny?" the robot asked the sky. Regretfully he received no reply. He says sarcastically "Boy you are just a bounty full of information ain't you"
Not knowing what to choose the robot jumps onto the pedestal with the sword guessing it to be the most powerful and holds it as a sigh of his choice is made. The voice then came back.
"Power of a warrior. Invincible courage. A blade of great destruction. Is this the path you choose?" the voice asked.
The robot hesitated. Although courage was nice, he didn't feel happy with the destruction this blade will bring. He thought about it for a while and said "Yes"
The sword evaporated in a ray of light into his hand as the voice returned once again.
"Your path is set" the voice informed "But to choose this path, you must surrender another."
"Wait. You mean I have to give up one of the other two weapons?" the robot groined "Well I guess the staff will be of no use to me."
He jumps off the pedestal and walks over to the staff's pedestal. He jumps on and holds the staff to show he has decided. The voice returned.
"Power of a mystic. Inner strength. Staff of wonder and ruin. Will you surrender this path?" the voice asked
"Yea I guess." The robot replied.
Like the sword the Staff evaporated in his hands and disappeared. At this point the robot was getting annoyed. Who was this voice and what was the whole point of doing that?
"You have chosen the path of the warrior. You have surrendered the path of a mystic. Is this the path you choose?" the voice asked.
"Yes it is. Now I want answers. What is going on here?" the robot questioned.
But instead of answers the pedestals started to collapse into the platform as the floor began to shatter. With nowhere to go the robot fell into endless darkness. Gravity was in total control now and the robot had nowhere to go. He continued to fall down the endless abyss until he caught sight of another platform he lands on. This one had a picture of a red haired girl, her hair in a ponytail wearing a brown armer corset black skirt and black arm gloves and stockings and wilding a spear and shield.
"Okay this is hands down the strangest thing I have ever experienced, what is going on?" the robot said.
"You have gained the power to fight. Use that power to defend yourself and others from them." The voice said cautiously.
"Them? Who is them?" the robot asked confused
All of a sudden, several dark creatures made themselves present as they rose from the ground they was black and had yellow eyes, They look at the shaken robot and attacked him. Without thinking the robot swung his sword and slices one of the creatures in half which disappears and then dodged the attacks it's comrades and fights them off till they were all defeated.
"What in the name of where they?!" the robot screamed.
"Behind you!" the voice yelled.
The robot looked and quickly dodged just in time from an attack by another of them small creatures. The creature was not alone as it had two more of it with it and they charged at the robot. Gathering as much courage as he could the robot swung his sword around and swatted the three creatures away. The one that fell nearby rebound off the floor and bounced back at the robot's feet. Acting fast the robot swung his sword downward and sliced the creature in half.
Now only one creature remained but this one evaporated into the floor, spreading it's darkness all across the platform. The robot felt himself being pulled into the darkness he struggled to its binds. But every attempt proved useless as he is pulled under. The robot tossed and turned in the darkness, trying to break free. He stopped when he felt like he was landing on solid ground.
He had opened his optics to find he was no longer in the dark world but instead on a wooden platform of his island home. Around him were people he knew well. One was a blonde haired boy wearing a green outfit, another was a brown skinned teen wearing blue clothes and carrying a boomerang and the final person was a pink furred anthro hedgehog girl wearing a red dress.
"Thank goodness that's over." The robot sighed with relief
"Hold on, the door's not open yet." The voice came back. The robot smacked his forehead. "First, tell me about yourself."
Wondering if he was still dreaming, he walked up to the hedgehog girl to greet her
"Hey Amy how are you doing?" the robot asked.
"What is most important to you?" Amy asked.
"I say whaaa?" the robot questioned.
"What is most important to you?" Amy repeated.
"Well..I guess I have to say my friends." Replied the robot.
"Is friendship really a big deal?" Amy asked
"Okay…" the robot said awkwardly as he moved away and approached the boy holding a boomerang. "Hey Sokka you know what's wrong with Amy? She's acting weird." The robot commented.
"What do you want out of life?" Sokka asked
"Oh not you too, well I guess I better answer your question then" the robot groaned "I guess I want to be strong."
"To be strong, huh?" asked Sokka.
The robot made his way to the final person deciding to go along with it
"Hey Link" the robot greeted.
"Hey, what are you afraid of?" Link asked.
"Being different." The robot answered simply
"Being different? Is that really scary?" Link asked.
"You want friendship. You want to be strong. You're afraid of being different" the voiced replayed his decisions. "Your adventure begins as midday. Keep a steady path and you'll come through."
"Sounds like a plan" the robot said.
"The day you open the door is both far and near." The voice said.
A flash of light fills the area and once again blinds the robot. When his vision returned , he found himself standing on another platform. This time the picture was of a girl with blonde hair wearing a pink shirt holding a strange device with a coin with an image of a Pterodactyl on it and next to her was a pink and white uniformed female in a helmet weilding a bow and also a Pterodactyl machine.
As the robot stepped forward more shadow creature appeared and swarm around him with their claws out.
"Oh boy what did I ever do to you things to be bugged by you?!" the robot said as he drew his sword out once more.
The creatures charged one after the other, making it easier for the robot to fight them. The robot slashed one creature and kicked another it to another shadow creature. Two of them attempted to double team on the robot but were easily dealt with when the robot did a spin slash cutting them in half. The last shadow creature attempted to charge at the robot but the robot just threw his sword at the creature and it fell down dead. The robot reclaimed his sword from the ground when it disappeared. With all the creatures defeated, a stairway of stained glass formed a path.
"Follow these stairs and discover your destiny." The voice said.
"Okay but when I find you, I'm so going to make you give me the answers I have been asking" the robot stated as he began to walk up the stairs.
As he reached the top platform, he found another picture of a female. This one looked like am anthro chipmunk wearing a blue vest, boots and black shorts and white and blue gloves she also had red hair.
"The closer you get to the light, the greater your shadow becomes." The voice informed
The robot turned and indeed saw that his shadow was bigger then usual three times bigger to be exact. Then, to his surprise, the shadow began to move on it's own and grew into a gigantic shadow creature.
"Don't be afraid….don't ever forget…" the voice whispered and slowly disappeared.
The robot slowly backed away to the glass path, only to find it had disappeared. His attention went back to his shadow which had transformed completely. It was easily over thirty feet tall and had tentacles that wrapped around its entire face. Its most interesting features were the large heart shaped cut out and it's huge yellow eyes. Those eyes…were so empty and cold. If the robot had a spine it would shiver.
"Okay recap. I'm in a dark area which is most likely a dream, I had a voice tell me confusing things, now I'm facing my shadow that has taken a gigantic form with no way to get out…guess I'll have to fight it." The robot said as he once again summoned the sword into his hand.
The robot charged at the monstrous creature, only to get thrown back by a shock wave of its fist hitting the ground. The robot rubbed his head and returned his attention to the creature which had gotten on its knees.
"What's it doing? Giving up?" the robot questioned.
The robot guessed wrong, the creature shot out white balls from its empty heart and they were aimed directly at the robot. The robot did a cartwheel to dodge the attack but was greeted by a second ball that the monster shot out. He was knocked back to the ground and his sword disappeared from site. He turned back to the monster as it got on his knees and loomed over its prey. Soon darkness escaped the monsters hands and entangled around the poor robot. It was truly a nightmare. Every fear passed through the robots mind as the darkness started to consume his body. He tried to break free as best he could but it failed. He soon realized what was happening. He was dying.
"Don't be afraid…" the voice returned at his final hour. "You wield the mightiest weapon of all…so never forget…"
The robot tried to keep his head above the darkness to listen to the voice. What has he forgotten? It's over. He can't move, he can't see, if he had lungs he wouldn't be able to breathe. Just as the darkness was making its final strike, the voice offered its final words to the robot.
"Only you can open the door…Emerl." The voice echoed and he died.
Well that was wild, well you won't have to wait too long for an update but I will post the next chapter some time in the coming week
