Hello readers, DynoStretch here with a new story!

This particular one is going to be a bit of an odd experimental one. I'd like to see how people feel about the premise to see if it's something I should continue.

The story is based on the mobile game Pokemon Masters EX. I played it on a whim last year, and while I recently stopped out of lack of interest, it was fairly fun to see this massive crossover of Pokemon trainers, and some of the new characters had a good amount of charm to them.

As mentioned in the summary, this story is a male-to-female gender bender plot, with some light swearing and slight moments of nudity, if you're not okay with this sort of thing, then you have my permission to click back.

"Ugh... what happened...?"

A young man in his early twenties staggered up to his feet in daze. As his vision came into focus, he saw he was in an unfamiliar beach area with numerous rocky cliffs all around him.

"This is weird... I was just going out for a swim at the gym, next thing I know I'm... here?"

He was named Keith Spencer, a young man from California fresh out of high school. He had left his parents house and got a small apartment in the city of Lomita to attend college. One of the perks to his new apartment was being close to a local gym that had a swimming pool.

Not being a very social type, he had very little in the way of friends, swimming was one of the few things he got real enjoyment from out of life. As he was heading to the gym to do some laps around the pool though, he had suddenly blacked out, only to have woken up in this strange new place.

"But where is here...? Kind of looks like Cabrillo Beach." he spoke looking around, "Did I get drugged and kidnapped or something?"

"Pop!"

"Huh?" Keith snapped out of his thoughts and looked down to see a very odd sight.

It was a small, blue seal-like creature with a cone shaped snout and a red nose. The little creature was looking up at him with large eyes.

"Pop-leeo!" the seal spoke, clapping it's flippers together.

"The heck is this thing?" Keith asked, "What sicko painted and dressed up a baby seal like this?"

"Pop-pop?" the creature asked, tilting it's head up at him.

Deciding he wasn't getting anywhere talking to an animal, Keith kept walking across the sand. He saw some odd looking sea birds flying overhead that he swore looked more like white balls with flags for wings. He put them out of his mind and continued on his way, hoping to find some civilization so he could get back home.

"Pop!"

Keith looked back down to see the seal was following after him, scooting it's body across the sand to keep up.

"Hey, I don't have any fish, alright?" Keith said waving his hand, "Now back off, I don't need PETA coming after me thinking I dressed you up that way or something!"

Keith continued walking across the sand, but saw the seal was still following him. He sighed in defeat and didn't bother to make it leave again.

As he walked, the heat of the sun was starting to take it's toll on him. It was a pretty warm day, and he needed to find a place to rest for a spell.

It was then he spotted a very odd sight; a bamboo changing hut seemingly out in the middle of nowhere. There was a calm pool of water right by it, with a large rocky structure towering over the area, with a cave tunnel route nearby. There as even a metal drinking fountain right beside the hut.

"Well, at least I know I'm probably not on a deserted island." he commented with relief. After drinking some water, he went into the small hut and saw there was a full body mirror inside along with a bench. He good look at himself in the mirror to make sure he wasn't roughed up by anyone.

He had pale skin with short brown hair and tan-colored eyes, not exactly the most stand out person in the world. His physique was somewhat lean due to the time had spend at the gym swimming, but that was probably one of the most significant things about him. As for attire, he was currently wearing little more than a white shirt and bathing shorts with sandals, though he did have a duffel bag hanging off his shoulder containing a change of clothes for later, as well as his keys and wallet.

"No injuries or anything at least, but this is so confusing." he set his bag down on the ground and rubbed at his head, "How the heck did I end up here?"

Keith wiped his brow and looked out the hut, seeing the ocean water and how inviting it was. He knew he should probably be focusing on finding a place to get help, but he really needed to cool off.

"Pop! Pop! Popleeeo!" the little seal barked out, as it had followed him all the way to the hut. It was looking around anxiously and clapping it's flippers.

"Don't know what you're so excited about, but I think I'm going to take a dip." said Keith, removing his shirt and sandals.

The strange seal watched him as he walked across the warm sand into the calm waters nearby. Taking in the cool feeling of the sea water, he plunged in and started swimming.

As he swam through the water, he heard a splash, and turned to see the strange seal was swimming along beside him. The seal flipped around and dived downwards deep into the water for a moment, before flying back up and splashing water on Keith.

"Hey, you're pretty good." Keith commented.

"Popleo!" the seal squealed.

He dived down himself to get some more manageability in the water. He saw the rocky structure went down deep in the ocean, so he kept his distance to avoid getting hurt. As he swam, the seal kept alongside him, and the two started to have a bit of a swimming race. Keith had to stop for a moment to get some air and go back under, but the seal was just content to stay underwater.

Keith was so engrossed in swimming with the seal, he wasn't aware that his motions were getting more steady and quick. He also didn't notice his shorts were starting to slip off his waist, despite the rope belt tied so securely. His shorts slipped off his legs and were swept away by the mild current.

Keith then felt a strange sensation as he swam through the water, like something was tickling at his back. Thinking he may have gotten too close to seaweed or something, he decided to swim back to the shoreline.

'Whew, what a swim!' Keith thought, gracefully stepping out of the water.

When the young man was fully out though, he realized something was off. There was still an unfamiliar feeling of something against his back, and he felt something was missing as well, the gentle ocean breeze was blowing against his bare skin all over, and he realized his shorts were missing.

"Huh? Wait, don't tell me I lost my shorts in the water!"" Keith looked down at himself and his eyes practically shot out of his head at the state of his body.

Rather than a lightly lean body with pale skin, he instead saw his body to be a very deep tan, and even more strange was a pair of sizable mounds sticking out from his chest.

"Wha-what the heck?!" he exclaimed out loud, only to slap his hands over his mouth after hearing his voice was much more high-pitched than he recalled.

Keith quickly ran into the hut, the unfamiliar sensation of the chest mounds bouncing around as he did, and got a look at himself in the mirror.

Keith stood in shock at the state of his body now. The reflection in the mirror showed a young adult woman in the nude. She was slightly shorter than his original self, with a lean, thin figure hat still managed to have some curves, namely in the breasts and hips. Her skin was a rich tan color all over from head to toe. Her hair was long and blonde, slicked down at the moment from the ocean water. She had a pretty heart-shaped face, with her eyes bright and green. She also had delicate fingers with nails that were painted black.

"Wh-WHHHHAAAAATTTT?" Keith yelped out in that same higher voice, only to see the woman make the exact same reaction, "What happened? Is this really me?!"

Keith looked down at himself, feeling at his body all over. He ran his hands along the sides and hips, the smooth arms, up to the long blonde hair, and over the two mounds on the chest.

"This... this is insane! Am I losing it?!" gasped Keith, looking back at the reflection to see the pretty tanned woman grabbing at her own chest. Then he looked down and noticed something else off in the pelvis area, and reached down at the same place, gasping out in horror.

"I-I... did lose it..." the man-turned-woman muttered in realization, collapsing to her knees and hanging her head down, "It's completely gone..."

Keith couldn't believe what had happened, he had somehow been turned into a woman!

"What's going on...? How is this happening?" the new girl asked herself.

From the position she was in, Keith then noticed a bag that was underneath the bench. It had a smaller than the one she had brought, but it wasn't hers so she didn't pay it any further mind.

After taking some time to collect herself, Keith got up on shaky legs and looked back at her reflection again. With the initial shock worn away, she had to admit that whatever happened, she had become a very pretty woman. If Keith had met someone like her, he would probably try ask her out, even if it ended in failure like most of his dating attempts.

But no time for that, the new woman had to get dressed first. Thankfully she had thought ahead to bring a change of clothing for the gym. She reached for where she set down the bag earlier, only to see it was missing.

"Huh? Where'd my stuff go?" she asked looking around.

"Cra-crabawl!"

"Huh?"

He stepped outside the hut and looking over near the beach cave tunnel entrance nearby to see another very strange sight. It was an oddly large looking crab with a purple body and large craws that resembled boxing gloves. It had an bizarre expression on it's face that looked like it was dazed or something.

But what was even more surprising was the crab creature was holding Keith's duffel bag in it's claw.

"Hey, give that back!"

Keith went running after the crab, but her center of gravity was thrown off by her new body. The crab creature freaked out and scurried into a small hole in the cliff side, taking the duffel bag with it. Keith lunged out to grab the bag, but she slipped and hit her head against the cave wall just as the bag was pulled into the hole.

"Gimmie my stuff you... you... whatever you are!" Keith shouted out, rubbing at her head.

"Craaaaa!"

The crab responded by sticking it's head out of the hole and blowing bubbles in Keith's face, making her fall backwards.

"Oooow... how did it do THAT?" groaned Keith, rubbing at her sore head, "Darn it!"

She fell backwards onto the sandy ground and lay back, staring up at the clouds with an angry pout on her face.

"I don't believe this, I'm in this strange place, I've been turned into a woman, and now I'm stuck in my birthday suit?!"

Keith covered her hands over her face and screamed in a combination of frustration, anger and sadness. She laid her arms back and sighed deeply.

"Now what am I going to do...?"

"Pop?"

"Huh?" Keith looked over to see the blue seal creature from before was there, staring down at her, "Oh it's you..." she sat up and looked down at it, "Look, I know this is weird but-"

"POPLEEEO!" squealed out the small seal creature, lunging out at Keith and nuzzling affectionately against her. It's seal tail was wagging like a dog as it squealed happily.

"Wow, I look like a completely different person, yet you recognize me like this?" Keith asked.

"Pop! Popleo!" the little seal barked out happily.

After a moment of hesitation, Keith brought her slender arms around the seal and hugged it back, finding herself enjoying the feeling of affection from the little seal. A little comfort to help her through her ordeal was doing wonders.

It was then she had an idea. Setting down the little creature, she got up and over to the hut to check the other duffel bag that was down there, hoping there might be a change of clothes that she could 'borrow' for a while.

Unzipping the bag and emptying out the contents, she saw it contained a black bikini that looked as if it had been rather worn, as well as a pair of women's sandals. There was one particularity odd thing found in there, a simple white mask with black parts for the eyes.

"Huh... that's really weird. Who does this belong to?" Keith spoke, holding up the mask and putting it over her eyes for a moment. She stuck her head out from the hut and called out, "Excuse me! Does this bag belong to anyone?!"

Her question was met with silence, aside from the ocean water splashing against the rocks.

Deciding she'd apologize for taking it later, she started the process of putting on the swimsuit. First came the bottom which fit on pretty easily, though it was somewhat smug on the rear. The top was trickier, as she had virtually no experience with women's swimsuits. It took some time, but she eventually figured out the strap went through the plastic part to secure it and she got it on. She adjusted the top to try and make it fit, but it was snug as well.

'Well it doesn't fit completely, but at least it's something.' Keith said, taking a moment to look at herself in the mirror. It was still pretty embarrassing to wear, but it was better than being nude.

"Popleeeo!" the small seal creature spoke up, smiling brightly as it looked up at her.

"So what do you think, do I look nice?" Keith asked, raising up her arms.

"Pop!" the seal squealed, blowing a bubble from it's nose.

"You can make bubbles like that crab?" Keith asked, "What weird place have I come to...?"

Taking the bag, the young woman decided to get back to trying to find civilization. She tugged on the back of her swimsuit's bottom as she went into the cave tunnel to see where it led. The small seal creature happily followed after her without even having to be asked. Keith looked down at the little one, smiling ever so lightly at it's enthusiasm.

'Whatever this thing is, it's certainly good company.' thought Keith as the two continued on.

As they walked through the cave, Keith saw more strange creatures he had never seen before, like a pink and white thing that resembled ocean coral, a pink slug creature, and a flat purple crustacean that quickly skittered away at the sight of the two.

"What the heck kind of animals are these?" Keith muttered as they went further down the path.

Unknown to both of them, a small creature was peering at them from the water. It's eyes were glowing eerily as it stared at Keith and Popplio, before making a small sound and sinking back into the water.

"Woah..." gasped Keith at the sight of multiple buildings in the distance.

The cave tunnel had been a straight forward path that led outside into a much more lush tropical area with green palm trees and bushes all around. The dirt path they took from there had led them to a sign pointing them in the direction of a place called 'Centra City'. Anxious to find civilization, she went as fast as she could hoping to find help with her situation.

She went up a small hill that at the peak allowed her to see a brick road that went down to a large city. She could see some shops and restaurants, as well as a large golden structure far off in the distance that towered over a stadium. The land was far more populated than she could have thought.

What was even stranger for Keith though was some of the people were accompanied by more strange creatures like what she saw back in the cave. She saw a woman with a short flower-like creature with roses for hands, a big buff man with a towering gray, armored bipedal creature, and even some kids were running around playing with some tinier creatures.

As Keith walked down the road towards the town, she felt a little embarrassed about wearing a bikini in public like this, but the people didn't even seem to mind all that much. She past by two young men who gawked at her, but she tried to ignore them.

Insetad she tried to focus on all the animals the people had with them. There were so many weird and strange creatures of multiple shapes and sizes all around her.

"What is going on here, and what are these things? They almost look like..."

"Pi-ka-chu!"

Keith's eyes widened and turned to see a young kid with a small rodent creature beside them. It was yellow furred with pointy ears and red cheeks, it even had a tail that looked like a lightning bolt.

"That... that can't be possible!" Keith exclaimed, "Is that a... Pikachu?"

"Huh? Of course it is lady." the kid commented, "What, are you from Unova or something?"

Keith could only stare at the Pikachu in surprise as the kid walked off with the mouse, leaving her standing there in complete confusion.

'But... that can't be true... are these things really... Pokémon?'

Keith looked around at all the creatures, she even saw one area where some people were commanding the creatures to battle each other with bizarre elemental and charging attacks.

"Charmeleon, use Ember attack!"

She looked in surprise at a red lizard that ran at a small stubby creature that looked like it was made out of jagged ice and spitting fireballs at it. The ice creature retaliated by blowing snow at the lizard, but it managed to hold it's ground and come at it with a headbutt.

'But that's not possible, Pokémon don't really exist!' she thought to herself.

While Keith was aware of the Pokémon franchise, he had known very little of them outside of having only played the Blue version on his Game Boy as a kid. He had long ago given up on the game, though a few of the creatures and characters still remained in the back of his mind. That red lizard thing Charmeleon for example was the Pokémon the rival had used during his playthrough of the game.

"Pop-popleo!"

Snapping out of her thoughts, Keith looked back down at the seal creature before her.

"Does this mean... you're one too?"

"Pop!" it squealed out happily.

"Aww, what a cute Popplio!" said a young little girl, running up to Keith and the seal. She was accompanied by a small round creature with big red eyes that kind of reminded Keith of a Jigglypuff, except much smaller.

'Popplio? Is that it's name? Guess it really is a Pokémon.' Keith thought as she looked down at the girl staring at her seal companion,

"Does it belong to you, Miss?" the girl asked with wide eyes.

"I... um..." Keith spoke, she should have said a definitive 'no', but instead found herself tongue-tied as she looked down at the baby seal.

"Igg-igg-ly-buff!" the little round thing spoke as it rolled it's body up to Popplio.

"Pop! Popleo!" the little seal creature squealed out happily, hoisting the Igglybuff up and bouncing it on it's nose, making the little girl giggle. Seeing that brightened Keith's spirits a little.

"Honey, it's time to go!" called out an older woman.

"That's my mom, I better go." said the girl, taking her Igglybuff and running off, before stopping for a moment to wave at Keith, "Bye, bye pretty lady!"

"Ah heh... bye." Keith was a little embarrassed as she waved lightly back with a smile. She looked around and noted some people were looking at her curiously.

Suddenly feeling very self-conscious, she scooped up Popplio in her arms and went off on her way.

Keith continued to walk through the town with Popplio in her arms. She was trying to focus on finding a police station or something along those lines so she could inquire about getting home.

As she looked around she noticed some more of the men in the crowd taking glances at her. She held Popplio closer to her so as not to let them see her chest. She felt mortified about it, though after seeing herself in the mirror earlier, she supposed she could understand why they'd be looking. She wanted to get some clothing to wear, but she didn't even have her wallet thanks to that thieving crab thing.

"Pop!" spoke up Popplio, pointing it's flipper at a man in uniform with a name tag on his shirt.

"Hey, good eye. That must be one of the staff!" Keith said walking up to the man, "Excuse me sir? Could you possibly help me?"

"What's the problem Miss?" the man asked.

"I was wondering if you could help me find out where I am." she spoke, "I came here somehow from the city of Lomita in California."

"Uh, Cal-i-for-ni-a?" he asked curiously, "Never heard of it."

Keith spoke in confusion, "You know, California? In the United States?"

"United what now? What are you talking about?" the man asked, he narrowed his eyes as fiddled with a small red and white ball on his belt that Keith recognized as a Pokéball, "You seem suspicious, can I see your identification?"

"Uh, see that's the thing... Some crab thing at the beach stole my duffel bag with all my identification in it." Keith said, she wasn't even certain if showing her ID would work anyway since she currently didn't look anything like in her picture. She wasn't even sure how to explain that problem.

"Is that so? I have heard some Crabrawlers have been coming to the island recently..." the officer spoke. he then noticed the bag she had on her shoulder, "What about that bag?"

"Oh this? I found this at a changing hut over by the shore." she spoke, reaching into it and pulling out the white mask inside, "I was hoping to return-"

"Hey!" the man suddenly exclaimed, "Now I know who you are!"

"Huh? You do?" Keith asked.

"You're part of that Team Break gang!" the officer said, he whipped out a pair of handcuffs,

"Wh-What?! Gang?" Keith exclaimed backing up, "Wait, this is a misunderstanding!"

But the officer wouldn't listen, "Stay where you are, I'm going to have to take you in for interrogati-!"

"Poooop-leeeeo!"

But before the officer could cuff her, Popplio hopped up and sprayed the man in the face with a sudden barrage of small bubbles to protect Keith, the powerful impact sent the man staggering backwards and crashing into some nearby trash bins.

"That... was a really bad choice Popplio!" Keith said with a pale face of complete terror. She looked around to see some of the public staring at them in surprise.

"Hey, that girl's a Team Break member!" said a man.

"She just attacked an officer!" said a boy.

"We cant have one of them around here!" said a woman pulling out a red and white ball.

"Uh oh, this is going to get ugly..." Keith spoke as he and Popplio looked around at all the people looking intently at them, for a far different reason than earlier.

The officer got up and glared at Keith, "That's it, time to haul you in! Go Houndour!" he said, tossing open the ball and releasing a black doberman-like creature, with strange body parts that resembled skeleton bones. It barked out viciously.

"Hoooundou!"

"Hooboy..." Keith spoke, backing up slightly. She quickly scooped up Popplio and ran off down the street, as the crowd of people perused after them, "Screw it. Let's just get out of here!"

"That Team Break woman's stealing that Popplio! Stop her!" shouted a man, tossing open a ball and releasing a giant stone snake monster that Keith recognized as an Onix.

"Those things are real too?!" Keith exclaimed in terror, she glared down at Popplio, "This is all your fault! You and your big mouth!"

"Pauuup!" whimpered Popplio.

As Keith and Popplio ran down the street, they past by a building where a small little creature was sitting on the edge of the roof. It stared down at the two curiously as they ran away,

"Oopa?"

The creature paused for a moment, before it waved up it's little arm and a ring appeared, and then it flew through it, disappearing without a trace.

And that ends this chapter. Next time, Keith has only been in this new place for about ten minutes, and has somehow managed to get an angry mob after her. How will she and her new friend Popplio get out of this mess? Find out next chapter!

So as far as the odd title goes, I was trying to do a pun with the design of the main character being based on the swimmer girl from Pokemon X and Y, as well as XY male and XX female chromosomes. Eh, it sounded funny on paper.

I also wanted the main character to be from our world and only familiar with Pokemon Red/Blue to flesh out the 'fish out of water' concept a little further. This isn't just about a guy coping with being turned into a woman, this is also about her being an unintentional 'GenWunner' having to adapt to the way the Pokemon franchise has grown over time.

As a side note, I don't know what's been going on with the OpenOffice word processor lately, but not only has it been experiencing random crashes that erase potential amounts of unsaved work, it also doesn't seem to acknowledge typos of normal words anymore. So if you see a typo here and there, that's the reason. I swear I'm seriously thinking of typing it all out on this site's document manager or AOWN instead.

Also, for those following my Zelda story Heart of The Desert, don't worry, I'm still working on that one. This is just a fun side project I've been thinking of doing for some time.
