"And what about your brief affair with Draco Malfoy?" The reporter asks; she's got that evil reporter glint in her eye when they're trying to stir things up.
Hermione laughs and leans forwards, flicking her hair over her shoulder.
"Draco and I were never that serious, it was a bit of a fling actually. I guess we were all just relieved to be out of that war and we rushed into things. We were just kids."
"So you were never serious?"
"Merlin, no. Draco and I were a terrible match, I look back on that relationship and I think 'God, what were we thinking, thinking we could make that work.' We were just idealistic kids, straight out of something truly terrible. I mean, it was fun but it was never anything serious."
"Did you love him?" She's going in for the kill.
"At the time we thought we were in love, but looking back I know we weren't really."
