Who to most in the village, was a fake

Not a real Uzumaki, with his yellow hair and whisker marks

Making most hate the boy, though not all

And speaking of the Uzumaki, he held a confused expression

Naruto had been looking around to see a man, trying to remember if he had seen him in the village before to then be noticed

Expecting to be thrashed out for being rude, since most people told him to apologize for the littlest of things

Was starting to bow, but the man just had his own confused expression aimed at the boy

But, the man just seemed to let it be waiting for Naruto to raise his head so he could engage in conversation

And once Naruto did, he began to speak "Hello boy not to be rude, but why are you bowing?"

And this question made Naruto freeze, it seems Naruto misread the situation

And listening closely Naruto noticed this man seemed to generally being nice

Naruto was five and even though he was little he has had it rough and through his experiences he could tell when someone were actually being general

Then Naruto realized something, he never introduced him self, "I'm so sorry sir, I haven't introduced my self, I'm Uzumaki Naruto"

"It's alright young man, no Uzumaki, nice to meet you Uzumaki Naruto" the Old Man said

This floored Naruto once again, he did it again he was being kind, he didn't even know their name

Speaking of which, "Um sorry but may I know your name is sir" Said Naruto trying to see if this was generally willing to talk to him

"Oh of course, sorry Uzumaki my name is Himoji" said the Older Man

"Weird Name" Naruto thought

And thinking aloud instantly covered his mouth not wanting to upset Himoji

Though to Naruto's surprise the man just laughed, "Oh don't worry Uzumaki, it's fine heck keep it up, be your self"

This left Naruto speechless and he was just left with one question "Why?" Naruto had always been told by Gigi to be polite

"Well" the Old Man Began, "I used to have a granddaughter named Sarah and she was younger then you, so she wasn't welled mannered, but we've become distant and I miss her shenanigans" said Himoji

"Oh" Naruto said, just having a blank expression

"You ok?" Himoji asked

"Oh ya, I'm fine just thinking" Naruto said giving his signature grin, though that was far from the truth

Himoji's story had just reminded Naruto how he was an orphan with no family, but Naruto wasn't going to show it

"If you say so" said Himoji, "Anyways nice meeting you Uzumaki, but I have to go I do have a schedule" said Himoji afterwards

"Have a good day" Naruto yelled as Mr Himoji left

*Later*

As his friend Shikimaru would say "This is a drag" Naruto said

It had been a good afternoon for Naruto he had met someone who actually seemed to be a pleasure to talk to today

But, of course things had to go down hill for Naruto, he was currently hiding next to a dumpster he had found

Why was he hiding? well Naruto had just been chased away from his apartment from a mob of drunk citizens

How could Naruto tell? well none of them were throwing ninja weapons at him

This at least gave Naruto some relief, but that soon went away when he heard one of the mob members yelling something

And what he heard was discouraging, "Found the Demon Brat one of them said" and they were actually heading his way

Then he noticed it, his hair was sticking up over the can, "crap" Naruto thought

And as they menacingly walked over to him with their weapons

But before they could make it he saw a shadowy figure appear in front of him in a poof of purple smoke

He looked like Mr Himoji but now he looked different he was taller, but not not in the way Naruto would expect

Instead of his body being taller it was his head, what was cone like before, but now it was even more stretched like a witches hat Naruto thought

And even though he was just seeing the back of this thing, he could've sworn he saw claw shaped fingers

But to Naruto's shock non of the mob seemed to see this beast, which startled him

Then he heard it roar one thing and this time they seemed to hear it, it roared "HIMOJI..."

And before Naruto's eyes they disintegrated, then everything went dark

*Later*

As Naruto woke up he noticed he was in the Hokages office, "One of Jiji's Anbu must've brought me here" Naruto thought

And as Naruto looked around more he noticed his Jiji doing paperwork, so Naruto talked to get his attention

"Gigi why am I here and what happened?" at this Hiruzen's attention focused onto Naruto

"My boy, you're awake how are you feeling?" Hiruzen asked, at this Naruto pouted a bit, "everyone has been calling me a boy today" Naruto muttered

Hiruzen laughed at this, "Oh Naruto you shouldn't expect that to change anytime soon" Hiruzen said giving a smile

"I know but still its just frustrating" Naruto said, "Just give it some time" Hiruzen said at this

But all smiles left Hiruzen's face showing he was serious, "Sorry for getting to the point Naruto, but I have to ask you some questions" He asked

This made Naruto tense, his Jiji always had a playful mood around him usually when talking, but now he had a serious aura around him

"Um, sure" Naruto gulped, at seeing this Hiruzen lightened up a bit, "Don't worry my boy, these are just questions" Hiruzen said giving another smile

"Ok" Naruto said, "Alright then I'd like to ask you if you saw something unusual tonight, because some of our sensers noticed some villagers chakra signatures disappear near you" Hiruzen said, asking the question

This made Naruto eye's widen, when Naruto woke up he assumed it was all a dream but this disproved it

Naruto gulped, "well Jiji" Naruto said nervously, "I don't know if you'll like this or even believe me" Naruto finished

This caused Hiruzen to frown, what ever Naruto saw was clearly not good, "Can you elaborate a little more Naruto" Hiruzen asked

"Well..." Naruto paused, "I was being chased by a mob of drunk villagers", at hearing this Hiruzens frown intensified

"And then me and the villagers heard a roar, and it looked like they... disintegrated... then it went dark" Naruto said

Naruto didn't know why, but he decided to not tell hiruzen about the monster, if it was to not sound crazy or because of hearing the name Himoji come out of the monsters mouth he didn't know

"I see" Hiruzen said with a calm expression, but on the inside he was panicking, "Disintegrate!" Hiruzen thought

He could only think of Onoki's Dust Release being something somewhat close to Naruto's description, and that roar Naruto mentioned, was the Kyuubi escaping!?

Though Hiruzen wanted to desperately ask Naruto if he saw the fox, but he knew he could not knowing that would reveal his Jinchuriki status to Naruto

"Ok then, I find what you said hard to believe, but I know of Jutsus similar to your description so I will believe you, You may leave now Naruto" Hiruzen said wanting some time to think about what he said

"Ok Jiji" Naruto said surprised that's all his Jiji wanted to ask

And as Naruto left Hokage Tower, and made it to his apartment he was similarly to the Hokage was stuck in his thoughts

"I could've sworn that thing said Himoji?, and it was wearing his outfit and had a similar appearance?" Naruto just couldn't get it out of his head

And as Naruto drifted off to sleep he made up his mind, "I must find Mr Himoji Tomorrow"

*Morning*

Naruto woke up and did his usual routine, eat breakfast, drink his milk, put on his morning clothes

And as he was ready to head out Naruto heard a knock at the door, and he not even thinking about it opened the door expecting someone like Jiji

But when he opened the door he saw the man he was looking for, "Himoji!?" Naruto yelled seeing him at his door, wondering how he even knew his address

"Hello young Uzumaki" He said giving a gentle smile, "Wh-What are you doing here!?" Naruto asked

"Because..." as Himoji was talking he sighed, "I need your help, you're the only who can do this for me" Himoji finished

"What!?" Naruto said, "Why me?" Naruto Finished

"Ok, I'll explain it, but may I come inside because this will be a long story" Himoji said, "Ok I guess" Naruto said not seeing any real reason not to

And as they headed back inside Naruto noticed something he didn't before, because of not expecting Himoji to come to his apartment

But he looked different, Shorter? he didn't look like the monster he saw last night, but he didn't seem completely the same as they first met

And when they made it inside they sat down at a table, "I'll start explaining" Himoji said in a calm tone

"Firstly, why you were picked, that is quiet simple it is because you saw me in my Shadowside form when the villagers did not" Himoji said

"That was you!" Naruto couldn't help yell, "Yes it was" Himoji said simply

"How" is the only thing Naruto could ask, "Ok then" Himoji said in a serious tone, "You see, I am not human I am known as a Yo-Kai"

"A Yo-What" Naruto asked, "A Yo-kai, they are spiritual beings who can not normally be seen unless in human form, like when we first met" Himoji explained

"We also have two form as I said, last night you saw me in my Shadowside form, Shadowside can also be considered the state in which a Yo-kai is using all of it's dark power"

"Wow" is all Naruto could think, "But wait how did I see you last night then?" Naruto asked, "Well that is because you are special this is something I will explain after the explanation of Yo-Kai" Himoji said

"Anyways like I said a Yo-Kai has two forms, I explained Shadowside, but there is also Lightside which is the form I currently reside in, and before you ask It usually can't be seen as well"

"Thank you for all this info, but what does that have to do with me?" Naruto asked, and at this Himoji smiled bringing out a box, opening it showing me a watch?
