As the three of them came to the end of Holly's scent trail, straight ahead was what appeared to be a dump. They saw two toms, who appeared to be guards. "Maybe this place is supposed to be a camp," said Blue, keeping his voice low as he looked around. Feeling conspicuous, Rose stepped behind Blue and Green. When they were almost exactly three fox-lengths away, the two toms noticed them, seemingly the first thing being Rose's white pelt. "Hey, look Brick - she's back for more!" the bigger of the two snickered, swishing his tail. "Did we not make ourselves clear?" Brick let out a slight hiss as he unsheathed his claws. "Were you the ones who hurt Holly?" Green asked, glancing at Rose and stepping protectively in front of her. The two toms cast each other a wary glance. "You mean that's not the she-cat from earlier?" Brick asked, gesturing to Rose with his tail. Rose stepped in front of her Dad, "No. I'm not Holly. She's my mother, you stupid fleabag!" Letting his claws slide out, Brick snickered, "Oh look, Bone - the she-cat sicced her family on us!" Bone took a step forward, "Maybe they need the same lesson for this one as well then." Green hissed as he leapt at Bone. Rose and Blue went for Brick, their swipes matching perfectly.
As a slight breeze swept over her wounds, Holly suddenly awoke. She saw Lilac laying on the rim of her nest. Holly tried to sit up, but instead flopped back down with a small hiss. "Where are the others?" she asked breathlessly, already knowing the answer. Lilac jumped when her mother spoke, turning her head and looking at her. "They left a little while ago," she told her. "Green wanted to find out what happened to you as soon as possible." Lilac stood up and stretched her back slightly. Holly became alarmed - "Why did you let them go?! Those cats are just too strong!" There was fear in Holly's eyes as she spoke, causing Lilac to bow her head in dismay. Holly raised up shakily, her legs barely supporting her. With Holly leaning on Lilac's shoulder, Lilac led her mother to find Green, Blue and Rose.
Eventually making it to the camp of the Bloodclan, Holly gasped at the scene in front of them. Green and Bone were locked in battle, while Rose and Blue were doing a tag team attack on Brick. There were blood splatters here and there on the ground, the smell of it covering the entire area. Holly closed her eyes and clenched her teeth, the smell almost as rancid as the thunder paths of the monsters. Holly's eyes shot open again in an instant - "Stop!" All of them froze, as Green and Bone broke apart. Straightening up, Green looked at her and asked, "Holly, what are you doing here?" Bone snickered, "You not learn enough the first time?" Amused, Brick hissed out, "I don't think so."
Taking a step forward, Holly smirked, "You know, I am a slow learner." Bone flicked his tail, and Brick padded up alongside of Bone. Green stepped in front of Holly, the fur on the back of his neck beginning to bristle. Rose, Lilac, and Blue moved up on either side of Green. Bone let out a quick hiss before turning around and padding into the camp. The cats warily watched as Bone appeared once again, with Scourge padding beside him. Holly`s eyes narrowed. She hissed at the smirk smeared across Scourge's face as he taunted, "Looks like our little friend is back to play." Holly replied, "I got bored and hoped you could entertain me." Holly pushed her way between Green and Rose. Green tried to nudge her behind him, but Holly just padded forward out of Green`s reach. Scourge approached her, stopping just a whisker`s length away. He flicked his tail, as Bone and Brick blocked Holly`s family from joining her. Holly's eyes glanced over her shoulder, watching as Bone pushed Lilac sharply back. After a moment, Holly looked back at Scourge.
"Join Bloodclan." Scourge paused before continuing, his tail slightly swaying from side to side. "We can make you into a warrior. You can live alongside me and the others." He padded around her, looking over her features. Holly`s gaze never left him as he seemed to close in around her. Holly hesitated. "What happens if I refuse?" Scourge paused in front of her, then he snickered and leaned in towards her. She felt his whiskers brush her ear as he breathed, "Your family will find out, if that's the case."
Holly tensed and glanced over her shoulder at Green and the others. She felt her eyes sting as tears formed. Her tail and head drooped. Looking up and flicking his tail, Scourge smirked as he nodded his head. Leaving Holly`s family standing alone, Bone and Brick moved up on either side of the she-cat. They began to push her roughly into the camp. Green started towards them, but Scourge looked back at him and unsheathed his claws, which were reinforced with dog claws and teeth. Green looked at him, then back at Holly, who stumbled each time they pushed her. "Holly!" Green screamed her name. She didn't even respond. Scared for their future, Rose, Lilac and Blue looked at each other with disbelief. What was going to happen to their mother?
