First 100
Hermione Granger sat in her first grade classroom taking her very first spelling test. It was very easy for the young know-it-all. Words like cat or house that were difficult to other students, came easily. She'd been reading since she was 4! I mean, zoot de lour! She even knew what zoot de lour meant! She knew she should be moved up a grade, but apparently she wasn't 'socially ready' which might explain her lack of friends.
"Alright, class. Pencils down, pens out. First word: M-O-M…" Mrs. Murphy started.
Hermione looked at the 10 out of 10 in red at the top of her paper. That's 100%, she thought. She liked this feeling of knowing things…she liked it a lot!
