Chapter 22: The 'J'okes On You: Part 2

Sebastian and Dave sat outside of the Levin Mental Institute. They spent the past 3 hours coming up with their names and background information. It seemed pretty legit, if Sebastian did say so himself.

"Alright Thomas, shall we go get information on that bastard?" Sebastian asked as he applied the retainer to his mouth.

"We shall, Gary." Dave said as they exited the car.

Once they were inside the building they met with the receptionist. Dave looked around the building trying to get a good read on the place. It seemed sort of creepy. No scratch that, it was creepy.

"Hi, I'm looking for Dr. Michaels." Sebastian said sweetly. The lady looked at them and looked into the computer.

"Do you have an appointment?" she asked.

"Yes, yes we do. My friend here," Sebastian points to Dave, "has been having some issues with his self-esteem. It's really poor." Sebastian said. Dave looked at him like he was crazy. Seriously Seb? Low self-esteem?

"Oh I'm sorry to hear that dear. Let me check." The lady said as she looked down. "Oh okay, I see now. Thomas Newman. Okay just sit down and sign these papers. The doctor will be with you shortly." Dave grabbed the papers and sat down.

"Low self-esteem. Thanks a lot Sebastian."

"Hey, I think that was a lot nicer than the other idea I was going for. So be happy." Sebastian said as he crossed his legs.

"I still want to know what your plan is." Dave said as he got up to give the papers back. When he sat back down Sebastian explained.

"While you're back there, I'll sneak back and find Eli's file. If he really is 'J', then he's tried to kill me, Kurt, and Finn. Not to mention he tried to blackmail you."

"That's awfully risky." Dave said.

"We need to do this. We could all be in danger." Sebastian said. Dr. Michaels came out and shook Dave's hand.

"Good afternoon Mr. Newman, come on back." he said. Dave got up and followed him back. Sebastian watched carefully as they entered a room.

"Okay Sebastian, time to get things in gear."

Blaine was at home looking at the sonogram photo that he had gotten. He hadn't stopped looking at it since he had gotten it. He put the picture down and looked up something that he wanted to get Kurt. He wanted to get him a present.

"Hey little brother, what's up?" Cooper said as he jumped on Blaine's bed. Blaine quickly closed the laptop.

"Nothing much. And please knock before just barging into my room."

"Will do. But seriously what were you looking at?" Cooper said as he came over and tried to open the computer. Blaine quickly blocked it.

"It's nothing. Just doing research." he said. Cooper didn't buy it.

"Something seems to be troubling you. Is it Kurt? I mean I know you two seem to be on good terms now. Especially since you both have boyfriends now."

"Eli is not my boyfriend. He's just a friend. I-I have no idea what we are." Blaine said honestly.

"Seems to me like you were using him." It made Blaine think for minute. Maybe what he was doing with Eli was just for fun. No sex had taken place since the cheating scandal. At least he thinks so anyway.

"But I'm not that person."

"You don't have to be." Angel said as she too strolled into the room.

"Oh god, more lectures." Blaine sighed.

"No, we're just trying to understand. We may not be as close as we used to be, but we still care." she said.

"Well, I uh, I suppose Eli and I are..."

"Trying to relive history?" Angel asked.

"I don't know." Blaine said.

"I do. I believe you're trying to punish Kurt for what he did to you in New York." Cooper said.

"That's not true! I was hurt by him, but I-I'm not like Jesse. I would never..." Blaine tried to explain.

"You don't have to be like Jesse to hurt someone. It could be of your own free will." Cooper said.

"You don't try to analyze me Cooper!" Blaine yelled.

"What? You can't handle the truth?" Cooper pushed. Angel got up and got in between them.

"Relax guys or someone will say something that they might regret."

"Oh please. Blaine's just upset that I'm right. He really hurt Kurt. I was rooting for them. You need to focus on yourself for a while and leave Kurt to make up his mind too."

"You know what Cooper? You need to focus on you. The only reason you're here is because you couldn't find a good job in L.A. You're a terrible brother and a bad actor!" Blaine yelled. Angel gasped, while Cooper just shook his head.

"Wow, never have I ever seen you act like Jesse until today." he said and walked out the room. Blaine realized that he may have gone too far. Angel came over to him and gave him a hug.

"You know that was wrong and I want you to fix it." She said and walked towards the door. "Once you both calm down that is. I think you should stop seeing Eli though. I don't really think that he's your soul mate. Go for Kurt."

Blaine turned back towards his computer. "I'm trying." He took out his phone and dialed a number. "We need to talk."

Sam and Rory waited outside of their 'work' building. Sam had told Rory the news about Eli.

"I can't believe Kurt was right. Blaine and Sebastian are gonna be devastated." Rory said. Sam rolled his eyes.

"I doubt Blaine will, he still loves Kurt, but it'll be a shock for sure." Sam said.

"So what do we do?" Rory asked.

'We have to get proof. And that won't be easy." Sam said.

"Well that guy gave you everything you needed, let's go." Rory said and turned to leave.

"That's just one person's opinion. We need more." Sam said. Rory leaned up against the wall. How the hell were they gonna find enough evidence to put Eli away?

"Hey Blaine glad I could steal you way." Eli laughed as he hugged Blaine tightly. He leaned in for a kiss and Blaine accepted it hesitantly. Eli leaned back confused but he brushed it off. He finally had Blaine to himself.

"It's nice to see you too. We need to talk." Blaine said. He felt really awkward at this moment. He knew he was going to break Eli's heart, but he knew that he didn't want to be the type of parent that dates one person while the other parent struggles.

He wants his family to be together.

"Sure, is something wrong?" he asked.

"No, I mean everything's fine."

"Then what is it?" Blaine sat him down to explain.

"Look what we've been doing was something, but it was just fun. I mean we haven't even had sex yet, well since that night I cheated on Kurt. I don't see this going anywhere." Blaine said calmly.

"I thought that with some time you'd see that we could have what we used to." Eli said. He was starting to freak out a little.

"I don't know what I thought. I guess I was just hurting over Kurt. What we did shouldn't have happened. I just wanted to hurt Kurt, which was totally wrong, because I hurt two great guys." Blaine explained.

"So you were using me to get back at your ex?" Eli asked as he stood up.

"I guess so. I didn't mean too..." Eli put his hand up.

"Go, go back to Kurt. But realize this. I won't be around when he hurts you again. And trust me, it's gonna happen again." Eli said and stormed off into the night. Blaine sat back down on the bench and ran his hands through his hair.

Eli got around the corner and pulled out his phone.

"I need to see you."

KAKAKAKAKAKAKAKA

Aiden and Kurt were having a good time. The dinner had gone well. Kurt even showed him some of his favorite designs from Isabelle. Kurt was in heaven. But he still wondered why Aiden wasn't making a move. They hadn't even kissed yet. The chemistry was there, Kurt could feel it. It may not have been the same feeling that Blaine gave him, but ones that Sebastian gave him. Odd isn't it?

"So Kurt, you plan on going back to New York when you graduate next year?" Aiden asked.

"I don't know. I mean I want to go to NYADA, Broadway is me and Rachel's dream; but I'll have a family to take care of. So I'm not sure. If I were to go, Finn would be coming with us. He's not sure what he wants to be yet though." Kurt replied.

"I'm sure he'll find something. Everyone usually does." Kurt scooted closer to Aiden. Just when he was about to make a move Aiden's phone rang. "I've got to take this." He got up and walked around the corner. Kurt slumped back into the couch and pouted.

"Why isn't he doing anything?" Kurt asked himself. He decided that since it was his house, that he could eavesdrop. He got up and slowly listened to Aiden's conversation.

"Now? I'm a bit busy at the moment. I can't keep dealing with your issues. I know what the plan is. I'm following orders. Damn it man! I'll be right there." He hung up the phone. When he walked back into the living room, Kurt was already sitting on the couch.

"Was that an important call?" he asked.

"Yeah a friend needs some help with something. I'm sorry to cut this evening short." He said as he grabbed his jacket. Kurt gave him a sad smile.

"It's okay. I'll see you soon tomorrow?" he asked.

"Sure thing." Aiden said and gave Kurt a goodbye hug that lingered for a moment before he left.

"He's lying. Damn." Kurt said as he grabbed his keys and followed Aiden to where he was going.

SSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Sebastian was digging through the file cabinet. How could he be doing this you ask? Well it all started when he had a coughing fit and had the receptionist go to get him a glass of water.

"Where are you, you little monster." he said to himself. He found a file that he wished he hadn't. It was his. He hadn't told anyone that he had a therapist here. It would shatter him. He remembered what Dr. Mendez had said about his disorder.

Flashback

Sebastian sat in a chilly office waiting his therapist to come. His parents were worried about him. They had caught him purging more than once. It was time to see his therapist again.

"Hi Sebastian, how are you?" Dr. Shirley Mendez said.

"I'm good." he said.

"You seem a bit hesitant." she said as she sat down.

"Of course. My parents caught me getting sick and they think I have some type of disorder." Sebastian said.

"Sebastian, is that what you were doing? Do the purge on purpose?" she asked. Sebastian knew she was right. Jesse had taught him to purge in order to lose the weight. He wanted so bad to be skinny and handsome. But he couldn't do that if he was fat and ugly.

"Fine! Yes I've been starving myself. I-I just want to look normal. I hate being call Fla-bastian. It's humiliating." Sebastian cried out.

End of Flashback

Sebastian definitely remembered that day. He had stopped the purging. He decided that he had had enough of it. That is, until Jesse died. He started it back up and became who he is today. And he wasn't gonna change for anyone.

He quickly put his folder back and searched for Eli's. He would've thought that they would've been in ABC order, but apparently not. He opened another drawer and he didn't like what he saw.

He had hoped it wasn't true, but it was. His best friend wasn't who he said he was. Sebastian felt as if he had been punched in the gut. Kurt was right the entire time. He pulled out his phone and sent a mass text to everyone.

'I know who J is.'

Kurt drove to some tacky apartment building. He watched as Aiden got out and walked in. Kurt sighed in defeat. Could Aiden have been playing him for a fool? What the hell was he doing here?

Kurt got out of his truck and followed Aiden inside. He had felt his phone vibrate, but he ignored it.

CLDCLDCLDCLDCLDCLDCLD

Everyone met outside of Sebastian's house. They were all confused because they didn't expect to find 'J' so soon. Sebastian was pacing around the room.

"Man you're making me dizzy stop." Puck said. Sebastian glared at him and he put his hands up in surrender.

"Damn dude you almost looked like Kurt when did that." Finn said. Seb rolled his eyes.

"Where is he anyway? He's supposed to be here." Blaine said. He looked a bit worried. Finn reached over and patted his back.

"I'm sure he's on his way. I've sent him two texts so far, but you know Kurt, it'll take him a bit longer." Finn pressed. Blaine knew immediately what he meant.

"Well he needs to hurry up. This is extremely important" Sebastian said.

"Just go ahead and tell us. We'll fill Kurt in later." Sam said.

"Okay here it is. Kurt was right; Eli really isn't who he says he is." Dave said. Everyone didn't seem too surprised. Sebastian was livid. He couldn't believe that no one was shocked. Was he the only clueless one?

"Sorry to say this Seb, but most of us already knew that." Rory said.

"Yeah Rory and I did our own little investigation. Turns out that Jesse had been seeing a cop. I believe that Eli knew something about it." Sam said.

"Whoa! Jesse was seeing a cop! Damn that dude was good!" Puck smiled proudly. Sebastian gave him a wicked glare.

"This is insane! Jesse severely had a double life. Who was he really?" Blaine exclaimed. He pulled out his phone, still no messages from Kurt.

"What the hell is Kurt doing?" he asked himself.

KKKKKKKKKKK

Kurt walked into the building. He found it very old and disgusting. But he had a mission. He needed to know what Aiden was up to.

He creeped up the stairs and walked down the hall following Aiden, on the way there he took out his phone and was about to answer it when he bumped into someone.

"Oh excuse me sir." He said as he rounded the corner. When he did, he heard a voice yell to someone.

"Where the hell have you been?!" The familiar voice asked.

"Taking care of my part of the plan." Aiden said. Kurt felt his heart shatter. It couldn't be true could it?

"How is Kurt anyway? Does he suspect anything?" The person asked. Why did Kurt know that voice?

"Nope, I think he's falling hard for me." Aiden said. Kurt couldn't tell whether or not he sounded proud or a bit off when he said that.

"Good, as long as he stays out of my way, Blaine will be all mine."

"But didn't you say that he dumped you?" Aiden asked. Wait? Blaine dumped this person? Kurt felt his insides tense up. Maybe the baby was trying to tell him something.

"I know sweetheart, but daddy needs to know this information." He said to his protruding stomach.

"Yes, but nothing a little pill won't solve. I fucked up his memory before I can do it again." Oh no! Eli! Kurt always knew he was a snake, but this? Kurt felt sick; he didn't want to be right. In fact, since Aiden had come along, he's felt less like strangling Eli and was more focused on himself and his health.

"That's right, you did drug him. You knew that he wouldn't sleep with you because of his issues with Kurt. So you got him drunk and planned the whole thing. That's pretty wicked." Aiden said.

All this time, Kurt blamed Blaine. He hated him for what he did. Turns out that Eli planned the whole thing. That son of a bitch! And Aiden was in on it too? Kurt felt like he was being swallowed whole.

"Yes and those bastards have no idea that I'm the mysterious J. Well partially anyway, you as well." Eli smirked.

"Just doing my job. I don't want to hurt Kurt though. He's a pretty good guy." Aiden said.

"You've got to be kidding me! He's terrible. He's selfish and conceited. He left Blaine for some stupid internship in New York! Blaine was distraught and destroyed. His love for that idiot is borderline obsessive." Kurt rolled his eyes at that and scooted closer to the door.

"Seriously? He's obsessive? C'mon dude, you're like beyond crazy for the guy. And we both know he'll never love you the way he should." Aiden seemed a bit proud of that. Kurt was still shocked by all this. So those two were in it the entire time? All the things he told Aiden. It went right back to J and his minions.

How could he have been so blind?

"He will. If Kurt would've just died when I hit him, everything would've been okay. He would've been dead, case closed." Eli ranted. Kurt felt his heart constrict in his chest.

"So Eli was the one that hit me?" Kurt thought to himself.

Just then a ton of memories came flooding back to him. The time he bumped into Eli in school and discovered his pills. The fact that he was just about to blow his cover when he was hit by a car. It was all Eli and this J person. And apparently, Aiden was a part of it too.

CLDCLDCLDCLDCLD

Blaine was counting down the seconds. He was starting to get worried. Kurt hadn't responded to anything. It didn't matter if he was on a date with that Aiden guy, which Blaine suddenly didn't trust for some reason. Maybe it was his paternal instincts coming in. He pulled out his phone and called Kurt again.

Kurt was just about to lean in closer when his phone when off! He must have turned off the vibration. He hurried to turn it down when Aiden came out into the hallway.

"Kurt?" He said his eyes wide. Eli followed him out there and looked at him with wide eyes as well.

"It seems as if we've been found out." Eli smiled wickedly. Kurt backed up slowly.

"I can't believe this! Eli I expected this from, but you Aiden? You knew I had trust issues." Kurt said. Aiden just looked at the ground. He looked... guilty? No, that couldn't be right.

"Why Kurt! I'm appalled that you would... actually I'm not surprised at all. You see you came close to figuring it out before, but I stopped you." Eli said.

"I know, you ran me down, which I remember perfectly by the way. So what was this all about, Blaine? Were you that desperate?" Kurt asked.

"You shut your mouth about him!" Eli pulled out a gun. Kurt put his hands up in surrender. This couldn't be how it ended. Kurt slowly back up. "Don't move! I'm not afraid to kill you Kurt; you should know that by now."

"Dude, we aren't supposed to kill anyone." Aiden said. Eli just rolled his eyes.

"I know that, but it wouldn't hurt to get rid of one deceiver." Eli said. Kurt didn't let the tears he felt fall. He wasn't going to let that psycho get the best of him, at all.

"But that's not what the boss wants. Kurt has a choice." Aiden begged. Eli turned to him and lowered the gun a little bit.

"Hmm, I suppose you are right." He turned to look at Kurt. "Since you were smart enough to figure out it was me, we could use you. The boss has plans, big ones." Eli said.

"I don't understand." Kurt said.

"Well it'll all be explained soon, but I need an answer or," Eli raised the gun, "I blow a hole through your skull."

A/N: Okay I originally had this to be one long chapter, but decided against it. It would confuse way too many people. So I split it up. Don't worry it won't take as long to update. I've already written it, just got to edit it. But what do you think? The big reveal? And the proposal? Will Kurt accept it and deceive his friends or not? And why was Aiden not making a move and seemed concerned for Kurt? Hmm, something's not right about that boy. And what's with the comparisons between him, Kurt, and Sebastian?
