She hurried outside, and saw the same white van idling by the curb. Madison stood a few feet away from the car, hoping that they wouldn't have any plans of snatching her as well.

The man that exited the van was wearing a ski mask with the eyeholes cut out, gloves and a long brown jacket. He was much taller then her, and she felt a glimmer of fear run ice cold through her body.

"Where is my brother?" She asked him, in a small voice. She wished that she was able to sound more menacing.

"Give me all the information you have about Captain Kidd's treasure, and you can have him back."

"Captain Kidd? I don't know anything about that! They didn't tell me anything."

The man took a step toward her, and grabbed her arm.

"I'm not messing around. Tell me how to find the treasure, and i'll let him live."

She was starting to hyperventilate. She stared up at the man, terrified.

"I honestly don't know anything about that treasure. But I can get you any information that you want. Ben has all his paperwork in the house. Just...please, don't hurt my brother."

He let go of her arm. "You have ten minutes to get me every document about the treasure, or we'll deliver your brother's corpse."

Madison sprinted back into the house, and started to tear through all the paperwork and books still spread over the table. Madison knew that Ben would be angry if he found out that she was giving away all his research, but the thought of losing her brother made her feel physically sick.

She gathered up all the papers in her arms, and two books in her arms, and ran back out the door to the waiting vehicle.

"Here, this is all his research." Madison told the man, giving him all the paperwork.

He put it all in the passenger seat of the van, and walked around to the driver's side.

"Wait!" Madison called out."What about my brother!"

The man ignored her, driving off down the street.
