'Get back from the vampire!' skulduggery yelled. Dusk was now on the ground unconscious.
'Hmm interesting are you skulduggery pleasant.' Mathius said.
'I said get away from the vampire.' Skulduggery repeated.
'Because if you are then I might tell you that I was working with my colleague Lithium boron here to capture this vampire.'
'Wait just a second.' Valkyrie said. 'Who exactly are you?'
'I am, Miss Cain, Mathius Saggriel.' He said in an Australian accent.
'And I am Lithium Boron, the famous energy blaster.' He was also Australian.
'Well okay then what are you doing here?' skulduggery asked once more.
'Erksine ravel hired us to capture the vampire dusk.'
After some more explanations they left the warehouse. Outside Valkyrie, skulduggery and Fletcher got in the Bentley. Mathius went across the street and got inside a Toyota Ute and lithium climbed into a Ferrari.
Valkyrie raised an eyebrow at him but he just shrugged and began driving away, Mathius and skulduggery going after him.
About half an hour later they arrived at the roarhaven sanctuary and they went inside.
Whilst they were walking Mathius told them that they had also been hired to try and find Tanith Low.
'But why?' Valkyrie asked. 'She is just a remant and she always will be now'
'We have a way around that.' Mathius replied.
'Well then I'd like to help you.' Valkyrie said.
'Even better. You should join our team.' Skulduggery said.
