This is sl;ightly based upon HalfHopes- It Matched His Eyes; I feel hers wasn't enough. So here we go! One- Shot Poetry!

Finnick & Annie

When she walked down the aisle, she could see his eyes.

She saw them in her dress, which glowed like fireflies.

He said "Don't you worry, I shall be here."

She nodded and saw his eyes were gentle like a deer.

The vows were said,

With no dread,

She was his forever more.

That eve of night,

It wasn't too bright,

They all left for the Capitol.

It was different, and she hadn't paid the toll.

She didn't go.

She was filled with woe,

Because when the rebels came back,

He wasn't there; not the one to cut the slack.

He wasn't there; forever more,

She was hopeless and told of gore.

And she was alone in these worlds vast;

But she tried to retain herself;

For he was the one she loved.

She heard the sorrows of those who dared;

To disturb her life of Annie Cresta and Finnick Odair.
