As the sun rose over the horizon, Elizabeth pulls herself up from the floor, needing to accept her new reality before it consumes her. With every heavy step that brought her to her bathroom, she felt more and more numb, finding that it was easier that way. If all she felt was the numbness, she wouldn't be able to break.

Flying autopilot, she makes her way through a quick shower before getting dressed, knowing that she couldn't stay inside forever. Cameron had spent most of the night with Spinelli before going home to his great-grandmother to spend the night there with his brother. If nothing else, she just needs to see them, to be with them, and remember that her life wasn't all tragic.

"Elizabeth..." Jason says as he rises to his feet, standing in front of her once she steps out of her room.

"I need to go to my Gram's." she voices, just above a whisper. "Will you drive me?"

"Yeah...of course." he replies, not knowing what else there was to say. "Breakfast?"

"Not hungry."

Walking past him, she snatches up her jacket and purse before stepping out of the house, prompting Jason to sprint after her. Every part of him wanted to grab her, to stop her from walking away, to talk to him, but he knew he couldn't. It wasn't his place. This pain is hers to feel and he'll let her.

Strapping in beside her, Jason starts up the car before taking them to Audrey's house, knowing that seeing her boys would help her out of this funk, if only just for a while. If nothing else, Elizabeth always puts her duties as a mother before anything she's going through, of that he's certain. Even if it won't last long, it'll be enough to give him an opening to talk to her. To get her to talk to him.

Pacing back and forth in his motel room, Jax couldn't believe everything that transpired in the span of one night. He couldn't, for the life of him, understand how any of this was possible. There was something they were missing, something huge, but what? For obvious reasons, Ewen wasn't in on this, so how was his brother able to pull this off?

"Did you hear the news?" Michael practically shouts as he bursts through the doors. "How could we have let this happen?!"

"I don't know!" Jax snaps, stopping in his tracks. "I had Jerry tailed all night! I don't know how this is even possible!"

"Obviously there are more players in this thing than either of us realized." Michael states, trying his damnedest to think of something, anything, to explain what happened. "We have to get them back, Jax."

"I know that!" Jax exclaims, his blood boiling at the thought of what his brother was doing in that moment. "I have to clear my head."

"Jax!" Michael calls out to him as he's about to leave. "We can't do nothing."

"I just need to catch my breath." Jax assures. "I'm no use to anyone if I can't think clearly."

Without another word, Jax walks out of the motel, hopping into his vehicle before speeding away. All the planning, all the hard work they put into ending Jerry, all of it has become meaningless now. If only they could find a way to get a jump on Jerry, a way to see his endgame, maybe then they'd be able to end this for everyone.

Arriving at the spot that he had been speeding to get to, he felt everything inside of him turn to mush as he spotted the beautiful tree laying on its side, the tree he had planted with Elizabeth all those years ago. The tree they had planted in honor of the baby they had shared.

Laying down upon a bed of its blossoms, the roots brutally cut off, is the tree that held his heart and hers. In that moment, he realized what his brother was trying to do, a feat that he was slowly accomplishing. Without much effort, he's tearing apart the very fabric of who Jax is, attacking the people that matter most in his life.

Dropping to his knees, tears in his eyes, Jax makes a small prayer before rising to his feet again, swearing that he will fight to his dying breath to put an end to his brother once and for all. Enough was enough. No more lives will end at the hands of Jerry Jacks. Not as long as he lives and breathes.

Sirens fill the air, police vehicles sprawled all over the yard, surrounding her grandmother's home. As fast as her feet could take her, Elizabeth pushed past anyone and everything that got in her way, she didn't care, she had to get inside. She had to find her boys.

Jason was like a tank behind her, shoving and punching everything as he fought to get his way into the house, to get to Elizabeth. He had no idea what awaited them as they broke through the front door, all he cared about was getting to her.

"Cameron! Gram! Aiden!" Elizabeth shouts through the halls. "Cameron! Answer me! Aiden!"

"You don't want to go in there." John McBain stops her as she tries to push her way into Cameron's bedroom. "You just...you don't want to see that."

"Get out of my way!" Elizabeth shouts, kneeing him in the gut before shoving him away, pushing her way into the room. "Oh...my...god!"

Blood. So much blood. From the walls to the floor...there was just so much blood that she could barely breath. Everything inside of her felt like it was slowly dying, breaking apart piece by piece, as she took in all the destruction in the room. All the blood.

"Elizabeth..." Jason places one hand on her shoulder, unable to think of anything to say.

"Where are my boys?!" she shouts, spinning around on her heels, pushing past Jason. "Where are they?!"

"That's not your boys' blood." John McBain manages to get out once he caught his breath. "Its your grandmother's. She was barely alive when we got here...she was airlifted to the hospital."

"Where...are...my boys?" she says as the tears threaten to strangle her. "Where are they?"

"We are doing everything we can to find them." John assures, regardless of how stupid he felt saying it, after everything he has seen that morning. "I'm so sorry you had to find out this way."

Without any thought, Elizabeth turns to Jason, clinging to him as his arms secure themselves around her. Standing together, they glance around at the room, unable to fathom what must have gone down in that room, the kind of fight that her grandmother must have put up in order to protect her great-grandchildren. Elizabeth's children.

Lifting Elizabeth up into his arms, cradling her close to his body, Jason carries her out of the room, barely hearing John tell him that his men were dead downstairs. Stopping long enough to tell him to call Sonny, he continues his venture out of the house and back to the car, needing to get her as far away from that place as possible.

"We have to find them, Jason." she says sternly, staring out the window as he drove faster and faster away from it all. "I won't lose my boys...I can't."

"We'll find them." Jason says with conviction. "No matter what it'll take...we will find them."

Arriving back at her home, both of them were shocked to find a group of people standing outside her front door, looking to have been waiting for them to get there. Slowly stepping out of the car, Elizabeth keeps her eyes on them as she shuts the door, unable to understand what any of them were doing there.

"I was with John when he got the call." Sam explains, stepping in front of the group. "It may not seem like much, but we're all here to help."

"Whatever it takes." Carly says with her whole heart, moving to stand beside Sam. "None of us will rest until your boys are back where they belong."

"I'll take all the help I can get." Elizabeth glances between both women, swearing that it was the most unbelievable conversation she has ever had with either woman. "Thank you."

"I already have Spinelli working his end." Sam says as she gestures for the front door. "Until he finds something, we need to get started on our end."

"I know where we can start." Jason steps forward, taking Elizabeth's hand in his as they walk towards the house. "Jerry Jacks."
