The pets at Littlest Pet shop hadn't seen Jimmy for a long time after he left with his new suit on, but now, months later, he was back and he looked more girly than ever.
"Hello dahling, it's Mrs Mackenzie, Blossoms mummy, I was wondering if you would be a dear and take care of my petit princess while I take care of some business?" Sang the lady in the pretty dress as she click-clacked into the Littlest Pet Shop in sparkly shoes, a sparkly handbag and an incredibly false grin.
"Of course, that would be lovely, we haven't seen either of you in a long time!" said Mrs Twombly, looking around for Mrs Mackenzie's cat.
"Ok, here we go den" said Mackenzie in a baby voice, pulling a small, angry looking ball of fur out of her handbag and placing it on the counter. The ball of fur just sat there quietly until Mrs Twombly picked it up and placed it down in the day care. "I should be back to collect him later, if that's not too much trouble" Mrs Mackenzie said and click clacked out of the shop.
In the day care area all of the pets were gathered around Jimmy as he hung his head in shame.
"What happened to you?" asked Russell.
"Don't be rude, you know he doesn't like it!" said Penny Ling.
"Shiny! Shiny! Shiny!" shouted Minka and bounced around the poor cat.
"Don't ask, just help me out of this horrible thing" said Jimmy.
Everyone helped to pull him out of his mini bejewelled kitty corset and Minka plucked the gems out of his fur.
"You look simply gorgeous!" chimed Zoe, "and these look absolutely fabulous, they must have cost a fortune!" She picked the gems up and placed them in her own fur. "My word, now I am a star!" she was twirling around the shop posing with her microphone and examining her reflection in every shiny surface.
"You have no idea about the hell that I have been through in the past few months. Cat walks, pageants, parades, fashion shows, the works, all dressed up like some stupid namby pamby, prissy prissy girl." He was getting angry now, and it was scaring the other pets.
"Girls aren't stupid" said Minka.
"Or namby pamby" added Pepper.
"Or prissy prissy" added Penny Ling.
"My gosh I broke a claw!" screamed Zoe. Everyone looked at her and she blushed "I'm sorry… um… where were we? Fashion shows, pageants? Sounds wonderful!"
"Look guys, I don't want to talk about it right now, I want to go to sleep" said Jimmy, curling up at the top of the slide.
"But Jimmy, we really missed you" said Zoe, "We just want to talk."
"I don't want any more fuss at the moment Zoe- I flew in from Paris late last night and I don't feel myself" Jimmy said, sadly.
"Paris? That sounds amazing, you will have to tell me all about it!"
"Yeah, I will. I mean, you will probably find out soon enough anyway" he mumbled, and fell asleep.
