37. Rose
"Riku, what are you holding in your hands?" Hailey asked, eyeing him suspiciously.
If he was planning to prank her...
"Nothing," Riku replied, quickly.
Too quickly.
"Hiding it behind your back doesn't make it invisible, you know?" she noted.
Riku sighed.
"Alright. If you must know…it's something for you."
Riku handed her a red-colored flower.
"What's this?" she asked.
"A rose," Riku replied, dryly.
Hailey rolled her eyes.
"I can see that, too."
"I just thought you might like them, so…" Riku started.
Hailey smiled.
"Aw, you're so sweet! Thank you."
She gave him a quick peck on the cheek.
