Back in the cave everyone was starting to get up after returning from the Underworld. After a few stretches everyone got on their own two feet.
"What a nice nap!" Bubbles said cheerfully allowing her voice to bounce off the cave walls.
"Echo~!" Bunny said continuing the same game she played before all this happened.
"Takeshi is the greatest~!" Takeshi said letting his echo repeat his sentence. Everyone rolled their eyes,but smiled at his sentence.
"Only in his dreams~!" Satoshi said playing along with Bunny's game while messing with his brother at the same time. Nar laughed and his echo conquered all the others in the cave. Everyone jumped a little since the volume is louder than usual.
"Couldn't resist." Nar said "I believe we have people waiting for us outside the cave"
"Oh right!"
Everyone stepped out the cave and froze in spot. The foes are now lifeless in their own pond of blood but the ones who slayed them are on the ground as well. Rin,Ayumi,Hikari, and Zoku were all motionless but Ayumi,Hikari and Zoku has burns on their flesh. A clear liquid is seen on their skin. Bubbles let out a short scream at the sight.
"Guys!" Tsuki went to Ayumi,Aoki went to Hikari,Takeshi went to Zoku and Yuichi went to Rin. When they touched them they got a little sting.
"What the heck are they hit with?!" Takeshi semi-yelled.
"The smell..." Raiden said Tsuki,Aoki,Takeshi, and Yuichi smelt the liquid and their eyes widened.
"This is very bad" Takeshi said picking up Zoku despite that it caused him pain.
"What is that?" Buttercup asked noticing Takeshi's reaction to the liquid.
"They've all been hit with vervain..." Yuichi said picking up Rin and letting out hisses here and there.
"Vervain." Blossom repeated "You mean that herb with little purple flowers?"
"So...its not a stereotype?" Bunny asked.
"Not this time." Satoshi said eyeing them. "When a vampire touches it it burns their skin and leaves them weak."
"Its ironic" Yuichi said after a wince "Rin is a demon and he got hit with the most."
"Does vervain hurt demons?" Bubbles asked and the vampires shook their head no.
"Only vamps Bubs" Tsuki said holding her solar cousin in her arms while taking the pain from the vampire poison. "Ayumi-chan got hit the least...probably because of Rin"
"Well we can paint the picture later" Aoki said holding his futago(twin). "Right now we have to get them home"
"We can use our vampire speed to get back to the castle quickly"
"Or you can give them to us since we won't be affected and we'll fly them" Buttercup said noticing how the four are wincing and hissing more.
Despite the pain they won't let go of them. In their heads they know that they are damaging themselves but they physically refuse to release them until they got back home. This is apart of their nature.
"We'll be fine" Yuichi reassured "they are the main priority right now"
"We can still fly you guys there"
"Or maybe we can-" Raiden was cut of by the Shadow Lord and he gestured to the shadow portal next to him.
"Let's go" Nar said simply making everyone feel stupid that the fastest way to the castle was right before their eyes.
"R-right" Everyone chorused sweat dropping while entering the portal and Nar went in last.
Even though a huge war broke out the castle received no damage and not a hair was out of place. There was no time to call any of the adults since they didn't know how long the vampires were hit with vervain. After rushing to the infirmary Hikari,Ayumi,Zoku,and Rin were placed on infirmary beds which were about the size of king-sized beds. Nar and the PPGZ watched as the vampires speed walked in different locations to get various items around the room.
"When did they even learn first aid?" Buttercup asked getting dizzy trying to keep up with all the movements.
"The Maid Quartet." Takeshi answered washing his arms before the vervain can go into his skin.
"Although first aid for vampires is different" Raiden said.
Aoki took out three 120 cc syringe needles and started to fill them with blood. Satoshi was next to him with another syringe but instead of blood it contained an ancient concoction.
"Their pulses are weak...but they're alive" Yuichi said after taking Zoku's pulse.
"If vervain doesn't harm demons why is Rin like this?" Bubbles asked.
"Mostly likely he over exerted himself on the battle field. He just needs an energy boost." Tsuki said taking a syringe.
Aoki,Tsuki, and Takeshi sat next to the person they were carrying and injected the blood into their bodies. Within a few seconds the burns were already starting to heal and their pulses became stronger. Yuichi injected Rin with the concoction and his pulse became stronger as well.
"What happens now?" Nar asked
"We wait for them to wake up." Tsuki said.
All eyes were locked onto the four that were in the infirmary beds. A few minutes later and a two gold eyes,four teal eyes, and two ocean blue eyes started to open slowly. Once again relief flooded through Nar.
"Ayumi-chan!" Tsuki cried hugging the teal-eyed girl.
"T-Tsuki-chan...what happened?" Ayumi said in a somewhat drowsy voice.
"You four got hit by vervain" Aoki said embracing his smiling twin.
"It was nothing..." Hikari said hugging Aoki back.
"Its not nothing!" Tsuki said towards Hikari.
"Hey now...I don't want to be woken up to you two arguing" Rin said rubbing his head.
"Rin!" Raiden said cheerfully before jumping on Rin's infirmary bed like a child.
"Dude your knee is ON MY STOMACH!" Rin said normally at first but yelled at the end due to the growing pain.
"Oops" Raiden said before coming off. Zoku chuckled a little and it was his turn to be greeted.
"Feeling better?" Nar asked them.
"Yeah thanks Nar" they said in unison.
"We should let you guys rest." Bubbles said
"Nah we're better now" Zoku said getting out of bed along with the others.
"Alright let's go see everyone else" Yuichi said. The girls de-transformed and they all left the infirmary to go the living room.
Suddenly for some unexplained reason Hikari,Tsuki,Ayumi,Zoku,Rin, and Aoki started to feel exhausted.
"Are you guys okay?" Kaoru asked
"Maybe we should rest for a while" Aoki said.
"Well" Nar said casually "They are several of rooms for you to rest in for a while."
"Y-yeah we'll catch up with you guys later" Hikari said with a short yawn afterwards.
"Alright" Everyone left the six of them behind to go into the room to rest.
"They seemed fine a few minutes ago" Takeshi said.
"Yeah what made them want to be alone so quickly" Raiden wondered.
"Who knows?" The Lord of Shadows said. A knowing smirk spread across Nar's face that no one else knew existed.
As soon as Tsuki and Aoki went into the room to rest they didn't feel tired anymore.
"Weird..." Aoki said.
"You too?" the ravenette asked and he nodded.
"I was ready for a nap a minute ago..."
"Well since we aren't tired we might as well head downstairs"
"Tsu-chan"
"Nani?"
"We can't go anywhere"
"Nande?(Why?)"
"The door won't open"
"NANI!?" Tsuki went over to the door and turned the doorknob but the door just won't budge. With a few more tries she sighed in defeat and let the door be.
"Yeah...we're gonna be in here for a while" She said sitting next to Aoki on the bed.
"Now what?" The ember-eyed boy asked.
"I guess we...talk" Tsuki said unsure how to finish her sentence.
"Okay then." Aoki said leaning back a little.
Silence.
A few minutes later Aoki started to laugh out of nowhere and Tsuki blinked at him.
"What's so funny?"
"Its just that all of our conversations usually flowed naturally. We never had a silence like that before"
After thinking about it Tsuki joined him in laughter.
"That's true" the gray-eyed vampire said after she finished laughing.
"Tsu-chan...we can tell each other anything right?" Aoki said holding her hand successfully making her blush.
"Of course Aoki-kun" Tsuki replied.
"There's something important I need to tell you" he squeezed her hand a little "something I should have told you a long time ago"
"Better late than never" Tsuki said with a tiny smile while trying to keep her blush in control.
"Tsu-chan..." Aoki put his forehead on hers.
"Hai?"
"...I love you"
Hearing those words made Tsuki extremely happy and embarrassed at the same time but that is how she is.
"A-Aoki-kun I..." the vampire princess suddenly found herself unable to talk but she really wanted to. Her words were jumbled up in her throat. Since she couldn't say it, the best and only option is to show it.
In one swift movement Tsuki closed her eyes and closed the distance between her and the young man in front of her. Aoki immediately responded by putting his arms around her slim waist. Tsuki put her arms around Aoki's neck and enjoyed their soft and passionate moment for a few more minutes before pulling apart. (A/N: Yeah yeah I'm pretty sure most of you guys are shouting 'FINALLY!' right about now)
"I love you too Aoki-kun" Tsuki said blushing scarlet with her heart beating fast and Aoki smiled.
'Click'
The two looked over at the door and walked towards it. If they didn't know any better they thought the door unlocked itself.
"Try opening it"
"Okay" Aoki twisted it right but it didn't budge. He thought for a second and then twisted it left and the door opened with ease.
"So all this time..." Aoki said sweat dropping.
"We just turned the doorknob the wrong way" Tsuki said sweat dropping as well.
"Let's get to the others" Aoki said and the lunar vampire followed. Aoki looked across the hall and looked through the door's window to see something shocking.
"Tsu-chan!"
"Hm?"
"Look!"
Tsuki followed his gaze and she gasped. What they were witnessing was Hikari and Zoku in they're own room making out. Apparently they weren't the only ones hooking up.
"W-we shouldn't be watching!" Tsuki said blushing a little but for some reason doesn't look away. Truth be told she was happy for her gold-streaked friend not that she would admit that to her face. If she did somehow they would argue.
"I know that!" the two turned away from their moment and walked further down the hall getting closer to the stairs.
"Well what are the odds?" Aoki said
"Pretty high.." Tsuki said looking to her right. This time it was Aoki who followed the gaze and found Ayumi and Rin kissing in their own room as well. Clearly sleep was the last thing on their minds.
"This can't be a coincidence" Tsuki said moving along.
"What do you mean?"
"We all looked like we were going to sleep on the floor and then when we entered that room we're magically wide awake." Tsuki said thinking.
"Well there's no other explanation."
The two finally reached the stairs and headed down stairs and saw everyone relaxing in the living room. Nar smirked as he saw the two approach well aware of what was and is happening upstairs. A few seconds later the other two couples came down stairs as well. All eyes were on the six of them.
"Hi guys!" Kimiko greeted cheerfully.
"Sup Kimiko" Rin said casual as ever.
"Had a nice...nap?" Nar asked and Tsuki gave him a somewhat suspicious look. Momoko on the other hand looked like she was holding back an explosion...and failing.
"What do you mean by that Nar?" Tsuki said raising an eyebrow.
"Nothing at all" Nar said in an innocent voice and looked at Momoko. A better idea has been hatched.
"Momoko anything on your mind you want to share with everyone?"
If Momoko was a stick of dynamite the whole living room would have exploded.
"KYA~! KIKI-CHAN AND AOKI-CHAN !" Momoko said jumping up and down before tackling them in a hug.
"NANI!?" everyone else chorused in shock and Nar smirked once more.
"Kawai!" Miyako,Ayumi,and Kimiko said in unison.
"Nyahaha~!" Hikari laughed "Luna you naughty girl~!"
"Like you should talk!" Tsuki semi-yelled back "You were practically sucking Zoku-chan's face off!"
"EHHHH!?" everyone chorused again. Momoko got off Tsuki and Aoki and hug tackled Hikari and Zoku to the ground.
"M-Momoko-chan!" Hikari said once she reached the ground. Rin started to laugh which made Hikari give him a look.
"What's so funny Rin? You and Ayumi are just as guilty as the rest of us!"
"HUH!?" Everyone said in unison once more.
"Hikari-chan!" Ayumi said blushing ready to rip her friend's head off.
"Heh heh gomen Ayumi-chan" Hikari said while laughing nervously.
"YAY!" Momoko said hug tackling Ayumi and Rin last while everyone else tried to process what was just said. When you receive shocking news three times in a row you don't know how to react or which one to react to first. All more amusing to Nar but just when his little uproar couldn't get any better the queen herself came in the room.
"What's with all the yelling?" Fiona asked and everyone just froze.
"Ano..." everyone chorused not sure what to say so Nar spoke up.
"Well Fiona we have three new couples in the room" the Shadow Lord said happily gesturing to the six people. They blushed and widened their eyes in unison. The reason they widened their eyes is because news like this makes the queen...overexcited. And when the queen is overexcited well its best if you run without turning back. Unfortunately for these six they didn't have time to run due to her speed.
"THIS IS WONDERFUL~!" Fiona said happily scooping up the three new couples and hugging them tightly with their feet not touching the ground. The queen is stronger than she looks and she invented the phrase 'death hug',unintentionally of course.
"YOU SIX ARE SO KAWAI~!" Fiona said making the death hug worse by spinning them around. Now they are dizzy and their arms feel like they are going to break in two. The PPGZ giggled while Nar laughed.
"Alright Fiona let them breathe" Nar said noticing how they were chocking for oxygen. Fiona let go off everyone and they dropped on the floor pretty hard but they were able to breathe again.
"I blame you,Luna" Hikari said just to tick her off which always works since she's Hikari.
"What did I do-" Tsuki's response was cut off by her mother.
"Tsuki~!Aoki~!" Fiona said cheerfully.
"Y-yes ka-san?" the ravenette responded knowing Fiona was going to say something out of line while Aoki just looked at her.
"How many grandchildren are you two going to make me?" Fiona asked with a simple smile while everyone's jaw dropped,except Nar he was enjoying his show.
"Wh-What!?" Aoki said in shock blushing.
"Around 30 or so" Hikari answered nonchalantly,smirking at how red Tsuki was becoming. This comment made the PPGZ spit out their drinks in unison and Kaoru coughed a little.
"TOO MUCH!" Tsuki yelled getting ready to strangle Hikari but her mother interrupted by bringing her into another death hug.
"Kawai~!"
"We aren't having 30 kids ka-san! Now let me go so I can strangle Hikari!" Tsuki said reaching her arms out toward the golden vampire who taunted her.
"They aren't having ANY kids!" the four princes shouted.
"You can't control that" Rin said sweat dropping.
"Just watch us!" they responded in unison once more.
"Poor Tsuki-chan..." Ayumi commented.
"Better her than me" Hikari replied crossing her arms.
"Kiki-chan! Aoki-chan! Would you name one of your kids after me?" Momoko said still in Goddess of Love mode. Kaoru face palmed while Kimiko and Miyako smiled with a sweat drop.
"They aren't having any!" the princes repeated.
"Yare,yare" Aoki said with a sweat drop.
Soon everyone got into their own commotion. The four princes were declaring Tsuki's chastity to the entire room while Rin kept opposing it to annoy them for his own amusement. Kaoru,Miyako,and Kimiko we're trying to clam down Momoko who was already taking about the three wedding dresses. Fiona was death hugging her daughter ,who was trying to strangle Hikari, and started to ramble about the couples. Ayumi was making sure Tsuki had enough air in her lungs to yell at Hikari and survive the death hug at the same time. Zoku and Aoki were holding Hikari back due to the fact that if they let go she would get in a fight with Tsuki,the queen would get caught in the middle, and both of them would've felt the queen's wrath. And as for Nar? He was simply laughing at his work, pleased at what he accomplished.
"This turned out even better than I expected!" Nar said joyfully. This made Tsuki look at him.
"Expected? Wait a minute...NAAAR!" Tsuki shouted.
"YEEEEESSSS?" Nar said with an innocent voice and smile to match.
"It was YOU!" Tsuki shouted with realization.

"You somehow planned this!" Tsuki continued in her mother's death hug. Nar's face was blank for a few seconds before giving the six a Cheshire smile. Their jaws dropped to floor.
"How did you do that!?" the six chorused in shock mixed with awe.
"The shadows hold many secrets" Nar answered with a friendly smile.
