A/N: Hello there, sorry for being gone so long! I've just started my first year of Uni (I'm studying to be a Primary school teacher!) And the course has been a bit full on. I'm supposed to be doing an essay, but I thought I'd write a little chapter to show you I'm still committed to this story ;) It's only short, but I didn't want to leave you guys with nothing. Especially since I got a bunch of lovely reviews! How could I just leave after that!? Thanks for your kind words which encouraged me to post something rather than just leave. So here it is! ^^ (sorry I can't give you more at the moment)

Lower Elements
Number One stared back at his friends in something akin to pure confusion. He'd been pulled out of his daily lesson to be told a fantasy story?
"Holly, Foaly and company. I'm ever so glad you came to see me, but why are you telling me a story about a fountain? You're making me kind of thirsty. And I was in the middle of my magic lesson-"
"Look, Number One." Holly decided to cut to the chase and explain the situation. "Artemis's clone body is growing rapidly, so rapid he might not live to see forty. We know that the water of life can stop the effects of aging therefore allowing Artemis to live his life normally without the worry of dropping dead sometime soon. Foaly found a rock with his machine thingy, proving the existence of such a cure and in the legend it says the Warlocks created the fountain. We have no leads other than your possible knowledge. Anything at all you could tell us would be massively appreciated."
Number One blinked as he absorbed this knowledge, while Foaly muttered in the background about how it wasn't just a thingy.
"Artemis…you're…"
The Irish youth nodded at Number One, getting used to the subject of his possible impending death being talked about.
"We really need your help again." Butler asked the scaly demon.
"I really hope this isn't getting to be a routine. I mean, I love to help you and all, but why couldn't it be about baking cakes or something-"
"Number One please."
He huffed at being cut off, then gave a childish roll of his eyes and went back into the room he just came from; where he was having his apparent lesson. Returning a few short minutes later, he had in tow another grumbling demon.
"Qwan!" Holly greeted the mentor as the elder looking demon sidled rather unhappily into view.
"What is the meaning of this? I was part way through a lesson with Number One. His powers won't escalate on their own you know."
Artemis studied the warlock, nodding slightly to himself. If anyone knew of the where abouts of the fountain, it would most likely be Qwan, one of the original members of the ring of warlocks. Holly wasted no time in explaining the situation once again.
The team had to get a move on if they were going to succeed.
Koboi Labs
Opal was once again annoyed. She was frustrated, and what was worse, there was nothing she could do about the situation to make it better. One of the things Opal hated the most was not being in control, which is what she felt right now as her partner stood in front of her, giving her a plan that made sense - but was risky. She didn't know if she wanted to risk something this big.
"Are you sure there is no other way?" Opal attempted to blow up her ghostly fringe with a large breath that would not come.
"Yes Miss Koboi. I would not suggest it otherwise. I just see no other way of getting the stone back."
Opal frowned.
"If only we could use the Mesmer." She hissed, wanting the use of her favourite weapon. "Everything would be so much easier."
"I agree, but I think we should focus mostly on you regaining your strength. Then we can advance easier."
"Those stupid Goblins should hurry up! How hard is it to find a strand of DNA? Incompetent, foolish creatures." The pixie hovered next to the only window in the office, looking into the lab where her goblin henchmen were at work. With limited resources in the abandoned lab however, and even more limited brain cells, the job was progressing rather slowly. Especially when the only means of contact was through her partner…
Said person grinned at Opal, happy with the chosen plan.
"I shall tell the goblins and get to work immediately."
Struggling to keep her temper, Opal gave a short curt nod.
Just wait Opal…It won't be too long now… You'll be up and about again in no time, you'll see…

Shuttle Port
"Well, I didn't expect to be going back for an underwater adventure so soon." Holly rolled her eyes standing near the newest type of shuttle Foaly had designed. The latter was bouncing up and down ever so slightly, eager to show off his smarts.
"Me either." Artemis frowned, remembering the last time they were underwater with a shiver. It wasn't a pleasant memory.
Oh well, at least no counting fours anymore.
"You do know this is only an educated guess, right?" Qwan had come along with the team to the shuttle port opened specially for them, nervously jittering. "If it turns out that nothings there… none of this is coming back to me, alright?" The warlock's eyes flittered from one face to another.
Number one gave his mentor a reassuring pat on the back causing the nervous warlock to jump.
"I believe in you! You're a great mentor Qwan. You know your stuff." Number one beamed.
After Holly had explained the situation, Qwan had revealed that he did not remember much of the fountain. He did however, remember three quotes that he thought could relate to the location of the three stones needed to open the fountain. Ready to try anything, Butler and Holly had made a note of them. Butler on a small handheld notebook, and Holly in her visors minicomputer. The one matching to the plain stone Foaly had retrieved first was considered most likely;
Hidden in plain sight for you to find,
Dark in colour and normal and bleak,
Looking like the regular kind,
Then it is Gabon that you do seek.
Foaly had then explained that Gabon was a cave in Africa, but also was sort of a cave in Haven named after the African original. He and Artemis theorised that this was most likely where the plain stone was found. This left one of two poems, and Holly had randomly picked one. It read;
In coves of damp this be kept,
Caspian protected by much,
1000 meters of sheer depth,
Turquoise and smooth to touch.
And again Artemis and Foaly had reached the conclusion that it was referring to the Caspian Sea. Therefore the next stone was 1000 meters down and according to the poem was turquoise and smooth. Qwan however, seemed rather nervous he was sending the team on a pointless mission.
"Even if there's only a glimmer of hope Qwan, nothing is pointless." Holly smiled at the pale green warlock, whispering the words and throwing a quick glance over to Artemis, currently involved in a discussion with Foaly. Butler was stood with Holly, nodding.
"I agree, though I don't know how much use I'll be anymore. My body guarding days are long gone, and yet… I can't seem to retire. No why is that?" The bodyguard also smiled at the dark haired male.
"You don't have to come you know Butler, if it'd be safer for-"
"No. I appreciate the gesture Holly, but… you know I have to go with him. Even if I'm not as good as I once was, I'd still give my life for that boy." Butler glanced down at the elf, uttering his words quietly. Holly had always known that the relationship between the two mud men was more than just a business one, but rather a brotherly one. A sense of family. It was different to hear the hulking bodyguard say it out loud however and acknowledge it.
Artemis was listening to the centaurs' explanation meanwhile however, completely oblivious to the talk going on behind him.
"I've even added extra room at the back of the craft, height wise, to accommodate for taller people." Foaly smirked and threw a look at Butler.
"It's convenient that you built this craft especially for underwater journeys of great depth isn't it Foaly?" Artemis asked, examining the craft.
"I noticed that. A bit of a close coincidence yes, but nothing more I should think. I'm always creating new and helpful gear." His tail swished with pride as the centaurs' back straightened. He couldn't pass up the chance to big himself up.
"Alright Foaly, enough bragging. Let's get this show on the road." Holly nudged her friend out of the way, eager to drive the brand new craft.
"Wait! Holly I haven't-" Foaly attempted to grab the arm of his friend and stop her from opening the door to the shuttle, but he moved too slowly. Quick as a flash the captain had opened the door and was ready to hop in. But a sight caused her to stop in her tracks.
Foaly heaved a heavy sigh.
"What the heck?" Holly gasped at the small figure already getting comfortable in the passenger seat.
The small, hairy figure grinned back at Holly rather sheepishly.
"Hey there again Cap', long time no see."
Holly glared at Foaly and then cast a hard glance back into the craft.
"And just what do you think you're doing, Diggums?" She said.
A/N: I had to get Mr. Diggums in there ;D So any thoughts? Ideas on plot lines e.g who Opal is working with? Drop me a review! Thanks for reading, again, LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT MORE! :D I shall do my best to receive ^^
