He came over –finally!- after the time we agreed on, but I still wasn't prepared for what I saw. Not only did he not have any eyelids, which made his eyes look bigger, but his scars made him eerily like a skeleton, with a constant grin. His voice was husky, gruff, like someone who had gone through a fire, or was a heavy smoker. He didn't do much, just sat next to me and said hello. "J-Jesus, Jeff, you scared the crap out of me!" I exclaimed, a hand to my collarbone. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. By the way, your locks suck." He said, leaning back. Hang on…my locks sucked? "Why? How do you even know that?" I asked him, earning a smirk from him. "Go check it out." He told me, his hands going to rest behind his head. I stood and looked, and my lock on the back door was gone! I checked the outside, and it looked like someone picked it with a knife, and then broke it on purpose. "Jeff, what did you do to my lock?!" I stormed into the living room where I left him, but he was gone. I looked around, but he just upped and disappeared. He left a note, though. After I read it twice, I sighed and went to put it in my room. "What the hell does he mean 'I'll see you around'?! He lives in Europe, doesn't he? Such a pain…" I said to myself. I have an annoying habit of talking to myself aloud. Well, annoying to others. I got ready for bed, thinking about the note and Jeff's appearance. One thing was for sure: Jeff was not what he seemed like online…how much of what he told me was true?
