Its the next chapter! Aren't you guys all happy?!

Rose POV

When I forced my eyes to open, I noticed that the sun was high in to the sky. It was already noon-ish.

I climbed down the tree, and then stood for a few moments, listening to any sound . When all I heard were the sounds of nature, I allowed myself to relax. I stretched for a while, then started to walk toward back to the tracker jacker incident.

By the time I got there, it was afternoon. So far, I hadn't met anyone, a blessing that I was grateful for. I scanned the area, looking for some clue as to where Katniss might have run off too.

On the ground, I spotted some of my old knives, which I picked up. Then, I found broken branches hanging off of the bush. I grabbed a few of those, and then walked past the bushes.

What I saw was a clear path of destruction. Someone had charged through the trees and undergrowth without much care.

It was the best I had, so I followed it.

Awhile later, I came upon a small pool. After a cursory search, I surmised that someone had been here recently. I cursed. I had most likely just missed Katniss.

Looking around, it seemed as if she had just floated away. No wait.

She had just walked out of a pond of water. Certain areas on the ground would be wet

REnewed by my discovery, I started to look again. I walked in the pond, looking at the edges, and finally found a footprint. Smiling, I started to walk that way.

Tracking and searching made me slowly relax. So when a sound blare of trumpets sounded, I was shocked. Then, I calmed down when I remembered an announcement would be made. Sure enough, a few seconds later, Claudius Templesmith's loud voice came.

"Ladies an Gentlemen. There has been a rule change. This year, if both tributes from a district survive, both of them will be declared winners. Once again, there has been a rule change. This year, if both tributes from a district survive, both of them will be declared winners."

There was another encore of trumpets, and then silence. I thought about this for a second, when I heard someone scream.

"Peeta!"

I ran toward that voice that screamed. I knew it. It was..

"Katni!" I breathed out as I came upon the girl Another detail registered in my mind. An arrow coming right at me.

Quickly, I used one of the branched I grabbed, and then swiped at the arrow. I managed to knock it off course, but it still scrapped my arm.

"It's me." I shouted at her. She blinked a few times, then recognition flooded her eyes. Still, she was worried.

"Who are you?" She asked. My heart skipped a bit. Was I wrong when I thought she recognized me?

Katniss continued to speak.

"You remind me of someone I know, but that someone should be dead."

"I...I think I'm that person."

"You think?" She asked, a hint of sarcasm in her tone.

"Yeah. I think. My memory is fuzzy. Could we talk for a while? Like, without you pointing an arrow at me?" She nodded, then warily lowered her bow. I noticed that it was still ready to be shot in a moments notice.

"All I know is when I woke up one day, a man was looking down on me. He told me that I was his daughter, and that he was the president of Panem. Then, he told me that different parts of that country had rebelled against him, and to stop the war, there would be a competition. The 12 parts that rebelled would send two people in to compete. I would be sent it. I was supposed to win."

I stopped speaking for a bit to gather my breath, then continued.

"I was trained, and had no doubt that I was going to win. However, when I was in this place, memories came back to me that I didn't remember. I saw you, and a boy named Gale. A family, a girl and boy. No dad. I saw the boy die. I remember seeing a younger version of you in a forest. Coal mines, some market called the Hob. I recalled killing a peacemaker."

"Where did all these memories come from? All I knew was that you, Katniss, knew something. Tell me! Tell me who I am." I said, my voice getting more an more urgent.

"I think...I think you are that person I remember. Your story matches up with her's." I smiled. Finally, I would know who I was.

"Can you tell me...my real name?" I asked tentatively.

"Ivy. Ivy Green." She said. I repeated it a few times.

"My name is Ivy Green." I said. It felt right to me. It felt more natural that Rose Snow.

I finally got a piece of the real me back.
