"Duel." said Marik and Aelita simultaneously.
Marik 4000 Aelita 4000: "My move, I summon Odd in attack mode, and play two cards facedown. That ends my move." Aelita said.
"Well, I hope you have something better than that, I play a magic card known as Graceful Charity, now I draw three cards and send two to my graveyard." Marik said before smirking. "Now, I play my Drillago in attack mode and attack Odd."
"Sorry, but I play a trap card, Knick of Time, this negates your attack and I can summon a monster from my deck, so I summon Ulrich in attack mode." Aelita said as her monster appeared and blocked the attack with his sword.
"Fine, in that case I end my move with one facedown card." Marik said.
"Alright, my move." Aelita said when a sudden pulse of power entered her arm. "I summon Yumi in attack mode, and next I play the magic card Materialization, now you can't attack next turn."
"As if I didn't see this on coming. My move, I summon Makyura the Destructor in attack mode, and next I play this facedown, that ends my move." Marik said.

"Well if I know Aelita, she can handle it." Yumi said confidently.

"My turn, I start with the magic card Franz Hopper's Notes, now I can draw cards from my deck until I draw a trap, and then I send one card from my hand to my graveyard." Aelita said as she drew three cards. "Alright, now I send Slifer the Sky Dragon to my graveyard."
"What, why would you send your god card to the graveyard?" Marik asked.
"Simple, I need him there, I play the field spell Lyoko, now choose one X.A.N.A." Aelita said.
"Fine, I choose Forest." Marik said casually.
"Ok, in that case I can return one card from my hand to my deck, and in exchange I add a card from my deck to my hand." Aelita said as she took a card and exchanged it. "Now, I play Code X.A.N.A. you should know what this does, I place four counters on this card, and when I summon Aelita, I can remove up to four counters to destroy my own field spell."

"I end my turn with a facedown card." Aelita said.
"Fine, my move and I start by summoning Bowganian in defense mode, you remember what he does don't you?" Marik asked.
"Yes, but he won't be able to stop me." Aelita said. "I play a trap card I set on the first turn, Virus Arrow, since I have Odd on the field, I can select up to two monsters from your hand, deck, or graveyard, and remove them from play, the catch is I take damage equal to their total level times 100, so I pick Obelisk the Tormentor, and the Winged Dragon of Ra."
"What, you can't be serious?" Marik said. "I use the effect of my Sacrificial Lamb, it takes the hit instead of Ra."
"Alright, I still took out one of them." Aelita said as the trap card absorbed her life points.
"You just lost 1300 life points, I have this duel in the bag." Marik said. "I end my turn.
Marik 4000 Aelita 2700: "My move and I use the effect of my field spell card, now I send one card to my deck, and add Aelita to my hand, unfortunately I can't play her for until the end of my next two turns." Aelita said. "Now, I play my Manta in defense mode. That ends my move."
"In that case it's my turn, I start by dealing 600 points of damage from Bowganian." Marik said. "Now I attack your Odd with Drillago."
"I use Yumi and negate your attack." Aelita said.
"Fine, in that case I end my move," Marik said. "Next round I plan on wiping you out once and for all."
Marik 4000 Aelita 2100: "My turn, I use my Manta's effect, I can send it to my graveyard in order to play two Manta tokens, and they block one attack each." Aelita said. "Next I sacrifice my tokens in order to play William in attack mode, now I attack Bowganian."
"I activate my own trap card, Negate Attack, looks like your plan failed." Marik said with a smirk.
"Great, I end my move." Aelita said.
"My turn then, and I start by dealing 600 more points of damage, and now I sacrifice all three of my monsters in order to play my great beast, the mighty Winged Dragon of Ra." Marik said. "Now, I attack Yumi with Ra."
"I can negate that attack." Aelita said.
"Maybe, but I want you to realize just how hopeless your situation is, my god card is unstoppable." Marik said.
