Sherlock said nothing, which was in its own way more terrible than words. He only raised one eyebrow and paged through the pictures on the phone: John apparently pinching Greg's head between forefinger and thumb; Greg doing the same to John; John holding Greg in the palm of his hand; Greg poking John with a pencil bigger than John was.
Sherlock's lips parted with a sneer and then –
"Forced perspective! Of course! That's how he did it! That's why we only ever see her back, and why she looks so odd! That's why her tattoo looked amateur – because it was amateur, it was drawn on a plastic doll and then posed so that she looked like the same size as Bradwick!"
Greg frowned. "But who took the photos?"
"Oh, for God's sake, Lestrade. His current girlfriend, who else? You ought to be more embarrassed about missing that than these pictures."
