Isabella's P.O.V:
I walk to where Phineas and the gang are talking backstage. Gosh, I'm so nervous. I mean, there are a lot of people out there. What if I mess up? Everyone here we'll hate me even more for ruining they're graduation and the whole auditorium will laugh at me.
"Isabella, are you okay?" Phineas asks, sounding worried.
I nod my head slightly, I don't want to put my problems on his shoulders; he doesn't need that.
He opens his mouth to say something but before he gets a chance to speak, the principle interrupts him.
"Okay students, it's time! Get to your places, like we practiced."
Everyone walks hurriedly to get in line and I go behind Phineas, where I'm supposed to be.
The big, red curtains open almost completely, enough for me to see all the parents and families but not enough for any of them to see any of the students.
The principal starts her speech and all the people clap when she's done. Mrs. Stewart then starts listing names to come up the stage to get their diploma and the line starts to shorten.
When there's around five people left in front of Phineas, he turns to me.
He doesn't say anything instead he just looks into my eyes through my bangs. When he realizes that there are only two people left before he had to go get his diploma, his grin gets bigger.
He tucks both of my raven black bangs behind my ears carefully, looking straight into my now uncovered eyes.
"Good luck," he whispers softly.
"Phineas Flynn!" Mrs. Stewart announces gleefully.
He turns back and goes to get his diploma.
My heart thumps harder as I realize that I'm next.
Okay, Isabella, simple.
You just walk out, get your diploma, and walk off the stage and take your seat next to Phineas. Simple.
"Isabella Garcia-Shapiro!"
I take a deep breath and walk out and get my diploma, and, to my surprise, everyone cheers as they would cheer any student.
I shake the principle's hand and walk off, taking my seat next to Phineas, breathing out a sigh of relief.
He chuckles, "You see, no need to hide yourself."
I'm confused for a second but then I realize what he means.
I feel my face, no bangs.
Darn it, Phineas!
He notices the scowl in my face as he raises his hands in mock surrender.
"Hey, no need to be mad, no one laughed, everyone thinks you look great," he states with a goofy smile on his face, trying to keep himself from giggling.
I roll my eyes jokingly and playfully punch his shoulder, blushing slightly at the contact.
I feel a finger tap my shoulder so I turn the opposite way to see who's trying to get my attention.
A confident blonde haired boy looks at me with a self-confident smile.
"Hey baby, haven't seen you around school. It's a shame, really, considering you look absolutely stunning," he compliments, putting his arm around me.
I blush slightly; no one's ever said that to me before.
I see his gaze turn to something behind me and he quickly takes his arm off of me.
"S-Sorry," he mumbles.
I turn around to see a red, glaring Phineas. I turn to face both of them a few times, as if that would help me understand the situation, but to no avail.
I give up and look back at the stage, clapping every time a student comes out from backstage.
Soon enough, graduation is over and it's time for me to go change back into my clothes so I can meet Mom outside.
I go to my locker and open it one last time to take my clothes out and go change.
Once I'm done, I go outside where there are only a few parents left, including Mom.
"Chica, you looked beautiful, what made you show your face?"
I shrug simply, hugging my mother with slight smile.
"Well, let's go home, it's late."
We walk towards the car together and go in. We sit down and Mom starts driving home.
As Mom starts parking the car in our drive way, I start to unbuckle my seat, excited to get home.
"What's got you so eager, Isa? Do you have a party tonight or something?" she asks curiously.
Not exactly, Mom, not exactly.
Yup, almost done, about one of two more chapters, and this story will be over... yup. :'( Anyways, enough of sad me and onto you guys, hope you enjoy and review if you'd like!
