A/N: For the anonymous reviewer, if you are curious as to Wiress' previous time in the Capitol, Large Eyes Crying goes into detail about that time in her life.

"So, We're here with Wiress and Beetee as they are leaving the Panem Marriot Exectuve Ballroom!" Caesar Flickerman said sticking a microphone in th faces of the District Three couple. "How do you like the party?"

"Good. It was good to see old sponsors." Beetee said smiling and lying through his teeth. In reality, he cringed seeing the District Theee sponsors stare hungrily at Wiress.

"And you, Miss Carpenter?" Wiress looked into Caesar's heavily made up face and smiled shyly.

"I showed everyone -" Smiling, Wiress extended her left hand displaying her new sparkly engagement ring.

"That is absolutely wonderful!" Caesar exclaimed. "Oh, the rumors are true!" He addressed the viewers of his TV program. "Our District Three victors are getting hitched! Where would you like the wedding?" Thinking fast, Beetee smiled and took Wiress' hand in his before answering.

"I always imagined marrying my Wiress in District Three, however, I think I can incorporate elements of a District Three ceremony here."

"Oh -" Wiress gasped.

"Well, you have the dress, the ring, we just need the venue. And I know just the person who could officiate!" Wiress and Beetee exchanged glances at Caesar's announcement. "Our patent office judge is willing to officiate for our most famous inventors! And as you both came together because of the Games, we thought you could be married in the Training Center!" Beetee was aware of his fiance burying her face in his coat while wrapping her arms around his middle.

"We're - we're a bit overwhelmed by your generosity, Caesar. Why don't you get back with us on the details in the morning?" Beetee suggested hoping to get them both out of the spotlight.

"Certainly!" Caesar beckoned for them to finish walking through the lobby. Wiress smiled and waved at everyone as they rode the elevator to their lavish hotel room. As soon as Beetee closed the door, Wiress wrapped her arms around him crying. "Sweetie, what's wrong?" Beetee asked worriedly as he stroked Wiress' hair.

"You - were right." She sobbed.

"About what, honey?" He asked as he led her to the bed and motioned for her to sit on his lap. "Sweetie, what's wrong?" He asked wrapping his arms around his sobbing fiance.

"It's a show - our love - and you didn't - you didn't want - I'm sorry -" Wiress choked out. Beetee sighed.

"You're right. I didn't want our love to be a show. But I want our love. Very much." He whispered kissing away her tears. "Sweetie, we had no choice." He whispered into her ear before kissing her cheek and down her neck. "We have to speak for the Capitol now. Be on their side."

"Yes." Wiress breathed. "So we stay -"

"So we stay on their good side. And stay together." Beetee whispered. Wiress smiled.

"I like together." Wiress giggled before she kissed Beetee. "Beetee!" She squealed before pushing him back onto the bed.

"Someone had coffee tonight at the party!" Beetee laughed. Wiress laughed triumphantly knowing her televised wedding would show the men who used her as a child who truly had her heart.

"Flowers -" Wiress sighed holding a notebook that had brightly colored flowers on a grass-green background. She and Beetee were at a book store near the training center.

"You have a notebook already, Wiress." Beetee pointed out thoroughly confused.

"Not for the wedding!" Wiress replied as she paid for her notebook. "I need a list."

"Aren't the details being handled by other people?" Beetee asked as they went to their District Suite. Wiress had asked for the morning to do some planning before meeting with Olivia.

"Olivia. I need to tell her -" Wiress paused as she wrote a note to herself. "Tux. Measurement."

"Tux measurement?" Beetee asked aghast as he flopped onto the couch next to Wiress who was scribbling away and had filled a page with notes in the course of sixty seconds. "But, I already have clothes that fit -" His argument was cut short by a kiss on his lips. "Ok, dear."

"Flowers. I want to tell Olivia what kind - and - cake, Beetee!"

"I like cake." Beetee perked up at the mention of food. "Chocolate or vanilla is fine. Or if they have that marble kind."

"I mean, decoration."

"I dunno. Wiress and Beetee Live Long and Prosper? Write it with icing or something." He shrugged. "Speaking of, have you tried buttercream icing? Can we get that?" Wiress sighed but wrote down his icing request.

"What do you want it to look like?" Wiress asked drawing an outline of a three tiered cake.

"Appetizing." He was rewarded by a smack on the arm. "What? We're going to eat it eventually!"

"I mean, icing - pictures - design!"

"Oh." Beetee paused. "I dunno. Well - wait - we could have a circuit pattern -" Wiress began sketching. "Yeah, and a real light on top that takes its current from the moisture inside the cake -" Wiress smiled.

"We'll take the mechanism out -"

"Before we eat it, I know." Beetee finished kissing Wiress on the forehead. "What else do you need to decide on for your meeting with Olivia?"

"Colors for the theme, flowers, music, color for your tie, meal for the reception..." Beetee was sorry he asked. "Beetee, love?" Wiress said noticing Beetee's glazed over eyes behind his glasses. "After we work through the list -" She nodded toward the bedroom. "We can lay down for a bit."

"Ok!" Beetee agreed enthusiastically. He would need to lay down and 'rest' after discussing the minute details of the wedding that apparently only girls thought about. However, picturing the joyful look on Wiress' face as her special day went perfectly motivated him to cooperate with the wedding plans. His greatest reward would be making dreams come true for the woman he would love for the rest of his life.
