Author's notes: ok here's another one shot! Hope I didn't leave you all waiting long…anyway this is for Raikiri80 who requested this, I hope this is what you expected please enjoy guys!

"Do you think they're ok?" Lucy asked as she looked around the guild hall

"Lucy chill out! God you look like a lost puppy without your Natsu" Cana laughed

"But they've been gone for almost three weeks now! I'm just worried for my teammates" Lucy looked away and blushed "besides I'm sure you feel the same way Erza…Erza hello are you even listening to me!" Lucy shouted at the redhead mage that was sitting next to her. But to the celestial mage's surprise the redhead never responded

"Is she ok?" Lucy whispered to Cana who stopped her drinking to look over at the s-class mage raising her eyebrow she leaned back and began to think

"Erza!" she shouted loudly nearly sending Lucy flying off her chair

"Kya Cana!" Lucy shouted

"Hmm what is it?" Erza asked as she turned to the two female mages

"Well now that you've graced us with your attention will you please tell Lucy to stop stressing about the boys on their mission" Cana said calmly while looking at the female members of team Natsu

"They will both be fine. Both Natsu and Gray are perfectly capable mages" Erza replied with a flat tone

"But they've been gone for such a long time! Plus it's just the two of them! No one is going to break them up! What if-" Lucy was cut off as Erza slid her chair back and stood up "Erza?" Lucy asked cautiously as she watched the armored mage walk out the guild "hey come back!" she stood up to follow her teammate but she felt a tug on her arm

"Just let her be" Cana stated "she just needs some time that's all. We all know she's not the best at handling her emotions" Lucy let the words sink in and she sat back down

"I just hope that she's ok" she said softly Cana put her hand reassuringly on the blondes shoulder

"You worry too much" she laughed lightly before looking away "you better get back soon Gray" she muttered under her breath

Meanwhile:

"Tch everything is fine, why does Lucy have to freak out over everything" Erza muttered as she continued to walk, she wasn't sure where she was going and in all honesty she didn't care as long as it was away from the guild. Sure she loved everyone there and treasured them all but at this exact moment she just wanted to be alone they are fine she thought why should I worry about Natsu and Gray. Natsu is a dragon slayer after all and Gray...well he can look after himself! He is a strong mage he'll be fine, not like I care anyway...no I do care, of course I care he's my teammate I care about them both. That's why I'm worried Lucy was worried too, well she seemed more concerned about Natsu. Is something going on there? Wait that doesn't matter right now…

The Titania shook her head trying to stop her trail of thoughts "where am I" she murmured as she looked around trying to get her bearings. She saw water and immediately knew where she was standing and smiled ah the docks she thought as she stood and watched the waves lap onto the wooden port she was standing on what happens if he's not ok her mind suddenly thought what if there was an accident and he was hurt or seriously injured, what if the enemy was too strong in numbers and power and he never made it. No I shouldn't worry like that. This is Gray after all he always makes it...

...but what if he doesn't a small part of her mind kept voicing her true fears, it seemed at that moment all her pent up feelings were released and the mighty Titania was scared, yes she was scared for Gray and Natsu of course but a part of her was scared for herself I've already lost so many people I've cared about I don't think I can cope if I lost anyone else that meant that much to me. She closed her eyes trying to calm herself down "everything will be fine" she said aloud trying to convince herself, she turned around maybe it wasn't the best idea to leave the guild at this time she thought as she headed along the familiar route to the guild hall.

After a few more minutes she reaches the hall and stepped in, Cana looked up from the bar and smiled waving her over "hey Lucy you owe me a beer! I told you she'd come back!" Erza looked round and glared

"You were making bets about me?" she asked in a questioning tone causing Lucy to gulp

"Ha! And you owe me a drink too Mira, I told you she'd be back to normal" the card mage laughed again, Erza just glared and sat down by Lucy who flinched

"Don't worry about Natsu and Gray they will be fine" Erza said confidently and Lucy smiled

"yea, I'm sure they will be thank you Erza" the blonde said and smiled again Erza nodded and looked away at nothing in particular even though I sound so confident when I say those words to Lucy I still am really worried but I can't let the others know, I'm the Titania after all

"Actually I had received some news about those two when you left Erza but I thought I'd wait until you returned seeing as Cana was adamant that you would" Mira said cheerfully

"What? Tell us then!" Lucy shouted eagerly

"Yes come on Mira!" Erza said I bit too quickly, Cana looked at the armoured mage and smirked

"Someone's a bit eager" she winked but Erza chose to ignore her I have to find out if Gray is ok!

"Well it wasn't much information, I just received confirmation that the mission had been completed a couple days ago" Mira stated

"What? A couple of days ago? Shouldn't they be back now?" Lucy said quickly "oh my; what if something's happened to them when they were returning and Natsu couldn't protect himself because of his motion sickness!"

"Gray is there as well Lucy" Erza stated

"Yes but what if-"

"Lucy they will be fine you don't need to worry about them" Erza said flatly

Lucy sighed and looked away "I wish I could be as calm as you Erza" she muttered which caused Cana to laugh

"No you just need to hide your feelings better" Cana said still laughing

"What do you mean" the celestial mage asked with a confused expression

"What seriously you can't tell-" Cana was cut off as the guild doors flew open

"WE'RE BACK! DID YOU MISS US!?" The dragon slayer roared as he stepped in boldly

"Shut up you idiot" Gray shot back as he walked in behind his rival holding his head

"Natsu! Gray!" Lucy shouted as she ran forward and hugged them both "I missed you" she whispered as Gray laughed lightly

"Yea don't worry we missed you too especially this idiot" he laughed and nudged the salmon haired boy

"Hey shut up ice boxers" Natsu shouted angrily making Lucy laugh as she hugged them harder

"I was so worried" she said with watery eyes upon hearing this Natsu's gaze softened

"Nah you worry too much Luce" he grinned "well we're back now"

Gray smiled and walked away "I'll give you two lovebirds a minute"

"Shut up" Natsu muttered half-heartedly

Erza looked around and watched as the guild mates flocked around Gray asking him how it went seeing as Natsu was preoccupied, seeing the two mages back in one piece made Erza extremely relieved and she smiled all that worrying was for nothing she thought but kept her poker face I have to remain indifferent seeing as Cana is already suspicious and if the alcoholic can notice how many others could tell I was worried

"Gray-sama you're ok!" a voice screamed and Erza cringed, she had forgotten that the water mage was also waiting for the two rivals to return

"hey Juvia" Gray said casually and hugged her just like how he had done with Mira and some other female mages, but what he didn't realise was that his innocent action would cause her to let out a cheer and faint at the fact that her beloved was hugging her "oh crap" Gray shouted as he laid her down on a bench

"Don't worry about your only fan girl; she'll be fine" this made Gray turn around and chuckle

"You say 'only' yet you walked over here to welcome me back" Gray ginned at the card mage

"Oh shut up" she joked as she hugged him "so much for a mission that would only take a few days"

"Hey since when have things ever ran smoothly when flame brain is involved" he joked as he returned the hug

Erza sat back and felt a strange pang in her chest as she watched the card mage be so open with the ice mage; she was able to be so honest and close with him and it looked so natural, they were true nakama's I bet they could even be more than that… she looked away from the reunion and decided she had seen enough well at least I know they are both ok, but I'll talk to them later I'm sure the guild will get quite hectic now that they have returned a fight is inevitable.

As quietly as she could Erza stood up and walked away from the tables deciding that it would be best for her to go back to fairy hills

"Leaving so soon?" his voice stopped her dead in her tracks and she cringed I should have escaped faster! She heard footsteps behind her and knew who it was

"Well I wasn't waiting long, it's not like I was waiting for you" she stated calmly

"Oh yes she was!" Cana shouted with a drunken smile and even though the mighty Titania turned around and shot her a death glare she merely laughed. Erza then realised her vital mistake in turning around that now she was facing the dark haired shirtless man who was gazing down at her

"Did you miss me?" he asked softly in a voice that made her heart rate increase damn it Erza don't fall for it

"No" she lied and looked away

"oh really" he said with a grin "well that's a shame" he stepped closer so they were only inches apart he leaned over so his lips were by her ear "because I missed you" he whispered and the mighty Titania was rendered speechless

"Don't make a scene" she said quickly before her voice betrayed her. Gray ginned and leaned back while he stood tall

"why can't I make a scene?" he asked in a loud voice which caused the guild to become quiet and listen to the ice mage while Erza stood in front of him with a shocked expression oh no he isn't going to do that…is he?

"Don't you dare" she whispered making his grin wider

"I'll make a scene because I've missed MY GIRLFRIEND!" he shouted before pulling Erza against him and crashed his lips hungrily against her own how dare he! Her mind roared I should just beat him up right here! I hate him! Her mind raced no you don't…another part of her mind spoke as slowly she lost her trail of though as her hands subconsciously snaked up to his hair and her eyes closed as she melted into the kiss…

At that exact moment she was oblivious to her surroundings, she never heard the guild erupt into an outcry after what they were witnessing, she never heard Juvia wake up to the sight which caused her to scream and faint once more

Feeling lightheaded the red head broke the kiss and leaned back even though Gray's embrace never loosened "I guess I missed you too" she said quickly while hiding her reddened face against his chest

"Are you two finished" Cana laughed as she poked Gray

"Hey don't ruin the moment" Gray shot back

"OI ICEICLE YOU'VE GOT A LOT OF EXPLAINING TO DO!" Natsu shouted as he was about to charge forward but was stopped by Lucy

"You idiot, there's nothing to explain" she said as she shook her head and looked up at the now not so secret couple "so that's what you meant Cana" she said quietly

Erza finally looked up and pushed the ice mage of her "why the hell did you do that?!" she tried to shout and act scary but it failed because of her flustered features

"Well I missed you!" Gray shouted back "is it that so hard to believe"

"Aww how can you be mad at that" Cana laughed as she patted her childhood friend on the back "looks like someone's in the dog house" she whispered "you better do something" she nudged him forward

"come on Erza" Gray said softly as he took hold of the armoured mage's hand and gazed into her eyes "let's go spend some time together" he started to walk and to his pleasant surprise there was no resistance from Erza

"Yes 'quality time'" Cana laughed and raised her eyebrows suggestively and turned around grinning

"How did you know Cana?" he asked as he winked

"Eh?!" the guild shouted as their faces became red except for one

"I don't get it" Natsu whispered to Lucy "do you want to spend quality time together" he said in the same tone as Cana which caused Lucy to blush brightly before kicking

"Ahh! Why would you say that!?" she screamed

"Gray don't say that" Erza scolded the ice mage besides her even though she also had reddened features but Gray looked over innocently

"Alright was only playing around, besides it was priceless seeing the guild's reaction" he chuckled as he looked back at the startled guild members. Erza looked at his smile and couldn't stay mad at him she sighed in defeat before moving closer to him

"I really did miss you" she said quietly knowing that only the man besides her could hear her heartfelt words

"I missed you too" he replied softly before wrapping his arm around her as they continued to walk off into an unknown direction, all that mattered was that they were together again…
