A/N: Sorry for the long wait…I have been really busy with college work and stuff, so here you are : )
The day had gone quickly. Lindsay had decided to keep her engagement a secret. She hadn't told her family yet and was quite panicked how they would react. Her mum and John would probably try and talk her out of it after her experience with Scott, Hannah would probably tease her about it all, Emily might go off the handle for keeping a secret like that from her. Kyle seems to be sticking up for Lindsay these days, so he might just shrug it off.
John pulled up into the car park and saw children rushing off home. He saw Sian, who was approaching him. John felt himself go all warm inside with a fuzzy glow, just like their University days.
''Hi, Sian.'' John smiled
''Hey, John.'' Sian smiled, trying to be friendly yet professional
''I was wondering if one day we could meet up?'' John suggested ''As friends, of course.''
''Well, I…'' Sian began
''Or at least your phone number?'' John said ''To stay in touch.''
''OK.'' Sian agreed
Sian pulled out a piece of paper and a pen and jotted down the 11 digit number on to the paper. Jez approached from behind and was hoping Sian wasn't cheating on him…
''Hi, love.'' Jez smiled, giving Sian a kiss
''Go on, sir!''
''Get in there, Mrs Diamond!''
John felt slightly hurt as he realised Sian must be married and the teenage boy and girl were her step children. As much as he loved his new family, John loved Sian.
''Bye John.'' Sian waved before getting into the car
Jez gave John a 'hands off, she's mine' look before driving off…
At home, Kyle was getting changed as Shannon was coming round to his with Lilly to go to the park. However, Kyle was annoying everyone, especially Emily and Hannah with his loud rock music. Emily decided to turn up her One Direction songs even louder, then Kyle turned up his music. Before long, there was a contest between the 2 siblings on who could annoy each other first.
''For goodness sake.'' Emily sighed
Emily barged into Kyle's room and unplugged his stereo before taking it with her.
''Hey, what are you doing?'' Kyle demanded
''My eardrums are bleeding.'' Emily smirked
Outside, Shannon was coming with Lilly from one way. And in the opposite direction, Rhona was coming. They were both going to Kyle's. Rhona was lending Kyle some notes for their English homework. They reached the front gate and both looked at each other.
''Who are you?'' They both asked at the same time
''You first.'' Shannon insisted
''I'm Rhona, Kyle's boyfriend.'' Rhona told her ''And you?''
''I'm the mum of Kyle's daughter, Lilly.'' Shannon dropped the bombshell
''WHAT?!'' Rhona was in utter shock ''But your posh and snobby. You are so not Kyle's type and this is not his kid.''
''Believe what you want.'' Shannon chuckled ''I knew him way before he moved here and we have a daughter.''
Kyle had seen Rhona come up the street from his bedroom window and rushed down the stairs. He opened the door and saw his ex-girlfriend and girlfriend with angry looks on their face.
''Well?'' Rhona demanded, giving Shannon an evil look
John was in the kitchen, making the tea whilst Mrs James was sorting out Rhona, Shannon and Kyle. John whipped out his phone…
