I'm sorry I take so long, guys. Just hard to think of something to write, and when I do get something, I need to find the time. School's been pretty busy, with a number of different things coming up.
Hope you enjoy the chapter!

"Cammie?" I hear a small voice call my name.
"Yeah?" Courtney's head peeks out from behind the door.
"Can I come in?" She opens it a little more.
"Yeah, of course. Come on over here." I pat the spot next to me on my bed and put my book down. She runs over to me and jumps on my bed, shaking the whole thing. She gives me a big hug then sits down next to me. "So what's going on?"
"I know you and Zach said that you're not going to get married until after school, but I'd just like to know if I could be the flower girl. Like when you get married."
"When we eventually do get married, of course!" Courtney gives me a big smile.
"Yay!" She exclaims and claps her hands. I laugh lightly. "And Cammie?"
"Yeah?" She leans in a little closer to my ear.
"I've been wondering what those noises have been… so I asked Sam about it." What noises? "And he… he, um… explained it to me."
"Explained what to you?" Her cheeks flush red.
"That the two of you, um… you know…" she whispers.
Oh!
"Why would he tell you that?" I ask in between laughs. "How does he even know?" I shake my head.
"Apparently he asked your dad about it, I think." Courtney replies.
"Mmhmm." I rub my hands over my legs.
We sit in an awkward silence for a few moments.
"Well…" I clap my hands together. "Would you like to come with me to the park?" Courtney's face lights up.
"Yes, please!" She jumps off my bed. "Can we play the cute guy game?" I laugh.
"Of course." I wink at her. I hop off my bed and slide into my shoes. "Let's go."

"What about him?" I ask, pointing out a guy who looks about Sam's age, with dirty blonde hair and wearing a navy shirt.
"Hmm… Maybe if he'd turn around…" Courtney says. "From here he seems ok, though."
"What about… that guy, over there. The one in the white tank top."
"The taller one?"
"Yup. Seems kinda buff, no?" She giggles. I nudge her in the side. "Whataya say?"
"I think he's really cute." I burst out laughing.
"Just cute? Hun, that guy's hot."
"I guess he is…"
"Oh, come on. You know I'm right." Her cheeks are a bright red. "Hey! How about we shoot some hoops together? You never know. Maybe he'll come over to you…" She giggles.
"Let's go play a bit." We smile at each other. I grab my dance bag that I put down next to me (with a basketball in it, obviously) and get up.
Courtney and I walk over to the court. I put the bag down on the corner of a ledge and take out the basketball. I throw it to Courtney, who's already near the hoop closest to me.
I'm crouched in front of her, my back to the hoop. She's dribbling the ball, from hand to hand, seeing if she can get around me and shoot. She moves to the left and then to the right. I follow her. She goes to shoot- and I grab the ball from her and jog around her. I spin and then shoot. The ball hits the backboard and falls into the net.
"One point for me!" I exclaim and wink at her. "Come on, Courtney. Try and steal the ball from me." I move bounce the ball from hand-to-hand, in a crouch, waiting to see what she does. She takes a step towards me and I move to the side, dribbling with my right hand. She moves in front of me the whole, blocking my view of the hoop. I hold the ball and as I go to throw it, she smacks it form my hands. "Hey!"
"Not my fault you held it low!" she yells back at me as she runs to the hoop. She shoots- and gets it in. I run after the ball.
"Very nice shot, Court. Very nice." I go for a high-five as I walk back over to her.
"Thanks, Cammie." She suddenly steals the ball from my hands, grabbing it and then running over to the hoop.
"No travelling with the ball!"
"I don't really care!" I chuckle and shake my head. She aligns herself in front of the net and gets ready to shoot. As it just leaves her hands I smack it away. I take a shot instead, hearing the light swoosh of the net as the ball drops in. I grab the ball and pass it to Courtney. I stand next to the hoop.
"I won't steal it. Promise. Just shoot." I tell her.
"If you say so…" She stands in front of the hoop. She throws the ball and it goes in, nothing but net. I catch the ball and pass it back to her.

"Try shooting from over there." I nod over at the corner shot that's a little farther away. When she shoots I see the guy in the white tank top looking over at her. The ball goes into the hoop, hitting the rim and then slipping in. I smile widely at her, and the guy gives a little nod, studying her. He turns to the guy next to him- friend, most likely- and points over at Courtney. The friend looks at her.
I pass her the ball again.
"What about over there?" I point to the place directly across form me. She nods and walks over, dribbling the ball. She stops, looks up, and then shoots.
Swoosh!
I grab the ball and run over to her, giving her a side hug. "Awesome shot." I lean a little closer to her ear. "Plus, that guy in the tank? Checking you oouuutt." I singsong.
She blushes and giggles. She throws a small glance over her shoulder. From the corner of my eye I see him give her a small smile. She looks back at me, her blush darker. I poke her in the arm and then dribble the ball to the middle of the court.
"I want you to try this, ok?" I yell over at Courtney, who's barely paying attention. "Hey, Courtney!" She jumps.
"Yeah?"
"I want you to try this after me, ok?" She nods and jogs over to me.
I pass the ball from hand to hand and zoom in on the hoop. I lift the ball, bend my knees and shoot. The ball flies in the air, kisses the backboard and then drops into the net. I run to get the ball. I catch it and then throw it over to Courtney, who is now standing where I was.
I throw the ball to her. She takes it and copies me almost exactly. The ball hits the backboard and falls into the hoop. I clap both my hands and I jog to get the ball.
Courtney walks over to my bag, unzips it and takes out her water bottle. I trail after her and then take mine out, too. I hear a buzzing coming from my bag. I open the side pocket where my phone is and take it out.
Zach's calling.
"It's Zach. I'll talk to him real quick, ok?" I tell Courtney.
"Ok!" She says. She throws her bottle into the bag and then grabs the ball. "I'll just shoot some more hoops." I nod and click answer.
"Hey, hun." I say into the phone.
"Hey, babe." Somebody on the other side of the park yells and whistles. "Where are you?"
"I'm at the park with Courtney. We decided to have some fresh air."
"Do you mind cutting your girl-time a little short and coming back? I need help getting these pair of jeans form this low drawer that doesn't want to open…"
"We'll be there in a few minutes. I just need to pull her away from this guy-"
"WHAT?!"
"I'm just kidding! Just gotta get her to stop staring."
"Don't do that to me, Cam. She's still little. And my sister."
"I know, I know. Chill. I'll see you in a few, alright?"
"Gotcha. Bye."
"Bye." I hang up the phone and put it back in my bag. "Court!" I yell.
"Yeah?" She jogs over with the ball.
"We gotta go. Zach needs help."
"Ok." She puts the ball back in the bag and zips it. "Then let's go." I throw the bag over my shoulder and rest my other arm on her shoulders.

Next one will hopefully be up in a week and a few days. :-) I might even be a little nice and give you two- it'd be a nice Chanukah present, right? ;-) haha
Anyway, I hope you all have a great weekend!
Any ideas will be highly appreciated! And thank-you so much for all the support and ideas!
: As good of an idea that is, I'm keeping them together. ;-) But thank you!

'Til next chapter!
