(I don't own Shingeki no Kyojin. :D)
Eren sighed as he tapped his pencil against the top of his desk, leaning his face on his arm, chin in the palm of his hand. Now, mind you this, his sigh was anything but exasperated.
No, it was a dreamy sigh, a sigh of being... in love.
He had to be honest to everyone, including himself, when he'd say or think he never expected to fall in love at this age, with a guy no less. But fate has it that Eren isn't exactly normal.
His color changing eyes for example. The brunette had looked it up to see if color changing eyes in combat was a normal thing, and much to his dismay, the only times it was possible was ever only in gaming, for the pro-or an-tagonist.
No mind, it wasn't like it was crucial.
It was February. The third, to be exact. Now tapping the pencil against his lip, he looked up at the clock absent-mindedly as to figure out why exactly this month in particular seemed important.
It never seemed important, until now.
What was it, oh what was it?
Ah yes, Valentines day. He bit back a curse and refrained from smacking his forehead, because he hadn't planned anything out.
He could buy chocolates... but, wait, no... they would be more sentimental if they were hand made. But what if they didn't taste good? Levi would still like them, right? Or maybe not? If he bought some specifically, they could taste good... though, maybe Levi was the type to have affection-made food, or maybe he didn't care.
Right when the bell rang, he gave out a cry of frustration as his hands wormed their way through his scruffy hair, messing it up.
He knew so much about Levi, yet so little about the little man.
(Somewhere off in the world, Levi sneezed.)
The thought bothered him throughout the day. Eren had no idea what to settle on, and he just couldn't calm down about it. He'd feel horrible if he bought something, but even worse if he made something and it didn't taste good.
The brunette gave up and decided to make some, and if Levi didn't like them, then he'd have to deal with it until Eren could buy him some instead.
~11 days in the future.~
Eren was practically bouncing out of his skin, for once again, Levi was coming over to spend the night.
Not tonight, though. Tomorrow.
Today was Thursday, Valentine's day.
Levi had sent him a sweet text... as sweet as Levi can be, reading, "Happy Valentine's, you brat."
Eloquent.
"Eren, calm down, you look like a ticking time bomb." Mikasa stated, causing Eren to fall off the couch he was occupying.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm sorry. I just... he's coming over tomorrow, and I made the chocolates yesterday. What if they taste bad, though?" His face scrunched up in worry.
"Eren, I helped you make them. I tried one, even. They taste just fine." She sighed, pulling her scarf over her mouth and nose as she grabbed her jacket. Though it was February, it was still chilly.
"It's cold as balls out here. I can't wait for spring. Better yet, summer. Summer is good." Mikasa mumbled, directed toward Eren but making no indication of it. In response, Eren grunted, leaning back against the sofa to calm himself slightly.
"I'm leaving, Eren. I left dinner in the fridge. Cya." The raven female said, before going out the door and leaving Eren to his thoughts.
"... She better have not been lying about the chocolates." He murmured to himself.
~Tomorrow :D~
The young male, in his natural habitat, appears to be excited about something. The young male appears to be jumping around. Some believe this to be a mating dance. Now the young male has exhausted himself, and bundles up in his nest to rest. The young male is sleeping, soundly and peacefully, as he waits.
A car pulled up in the driveway, and a raven hair male now stepped out. Eyeing the house with mere satisfaction, he wasted no time going up to the door.
Knowing Eren, he'd probably worn himself doing something childish, and went to take a nap. Mikasa worked around this time, though Levi didn't know her schedule. Though, judging by the fact that his car was the only one in the driveway, he gambled that no one in the house was awake. Actually, Eren was most likely the only one there.
'No, stop.' He thought to himself, finding that his thoughts began to ramble. Opening the door without knocking and taking his shoes off, he slowly bent his cold fingers.
Too lazy to warm up the car before hand, and deciding it would be a waste if he were wearing a coat and a scarf, his car was cold.
Well, as cold as a running car can be.
He made a beeline to Eren's room after taking off his coat and scarf, where indeed, the other male was snoozing. He climbed into the other's bed without a second thought, wrapping his arms around Eren's torso, and covering himself with the blanket. The silver-eyed male practically melted in Eren's warmth, and suddenly felt extremely sleepy.
Closing his eyes, he slowly drifted off.
And they stayed like that for a while.
When Eren woke up, he nearly shrieked from embarassment as he noticed the other male sleeping, hugging him close. He didn't want to move, but then again, he didn't want to waste their time together. But was this a waste? Wait, what?
Eren's thoughts were cut off as Levi groaned and slowly sat up. "Hhhhuh...? What time is it... Eren?" The other male asked sleepily, and Eren reveled in how adorable and defenseless Levi looked.
Defenseless, huh.
Eren flung his arms around the other, cuddling affectionately all of a sudden. Levi was cute.
"Eren? What time is it?" Levi questioned again, not making any movement to push the other away or to resist.
"Uh... 7:36." He responded, voice surprisingly groggy as well.
"Huh. I guess we should get up and do something." Levi ran a hand through his hair before bringing it down and the other up to rub his bleary eyes.
"Right. Hey, wait, I have something for you." Eren got out of bed, rushing to the kitchen. Levi slowly made his way out of the bed, following behind.
Eren stopped, his back to the other. He was rustling something, and the other merely raised a thin eyebrow at Eren's antics. "What are you doing, brat?"
"Uh, here!" He turned around swiftly, holding out a small bag full of...
"Chocolates?" The raven questioned aloud. Eren nodded enthusiastically.
"Yeah! I made them for you. I wasn't sure how you prefer your chocolates, so I kind of made them all different. Mikasa tasted one of them and said it was fine, but didn't try the other ones, so I'm not sure how they turned o-." The blabbering brunette was cut off by a swift, chaste kiss on the lips by the other male.
When Levi pulled away, Eren's face was red and flustered.
"Thanks, kid." Levi said, with a small smile, before taking the chocolates out of the other's hand.
"I'm not a kid, we're almost the same age!" Eren complained, though, still blushing.
"Whatever you say, kid." Levi repeated, putting emphasis on the word. To which, Eren let out a huff of annoyance.
Levi stared at the other one, before popping a chocolate in his mouth and mumbling something as he turned toward the living room. It was soft and jumbled, but Eren heard it. "I love you, brat."
Eren stared at the other for a moment, before a small smile crossed his face, and he followed after him. "I love you too, Levi."
