First of all I want to apologize for lack of updates, I had exams then christmas and I needed the break. So I will be updating MaR today at some point but I wanted to get this out first. These are drabbles from my christmas present to howlingforklaroline

This one is from awhile ago, it is the season 4 halfway opener.

Rebekah had been undaggered and was looking for blood, she even called in reinforcements in the form of her brother Kol. The siblings had locked her group of friends inside the school and were tormenting them all in a special way. At first they were all together, Caroline, Stefan, Elena, Bonnie and Tyler all tied to a chair in Alaric's old classroom Kol and Rebekah standing at the front almost baiting them to ask questions instead of telling them what was going on.

"well are you going to tell us why we are here?" Bonnie asked icily

Kol chuckled "I was hoping you'd be the first darling, I have a present for you," he walked closer to her producing a necklace and placed it around her neck " this was given to me by an old friend before Nik shoved a dagger through me... do you know what it does?"

"no but i'm sure you are going to tell me"

"right you are little witch, this blocks all the magic that you could use to protect your little friends" He explained "so now you get to sit here and simply watch and listen"

"Twisted Kol" Rebekah praised stepping to take her turn " now since all of this is for you to learn not to cross me I've decided to take a page from big brother's book of betrayal"

Rebekah then stepped to Caroline and began to compel her "you will do nothing to protect Elena, in fact you won't even notice her in the room" she then repeated the process with Stefan and Tyler.

"what are you going to do to me?" Elena asked as Rebekah grabbed her chair and pulled it so she was facing her friends

"I told you, Nik taught me this trick... even used it on a relative of yours" The older blonde handed her a knife and compelled her " I want you to take this knife and stab yourself in the thigh with it repeatedly, when you get bored switch legs"

As soon as Rebekah finished Elena did as she was told, letting out a cry as she did, pulling it out and resumed with the command.

"Now for you three," Rebekah walked to the last remaining people in the room " most of this was for fun, but you two " she said pointing to Stefan and Caroline " are revenge. Hurting you hurts Nik and at the moment there is nothing we want more"

Kol walked to Tyler and dilated his eyes "I want you to use your lovely hybrid power and turn, then I want you to chase them down and don't stop until both have a bite from you"

He backed up and watched as the painful process began. Rebekah looked to the other two untied them and used the last of her compulsion for her plan, all she said to them was " you must stay on school grounds... run"

Caroline and Stefan did just that, they ran to one corner only to hear Tyler's growl following them everywhere they went. Soon he had caught up with them, attacking Stefan first but Caroline being selfless as she was jumped in front of him just in time to feel her boyfriend's sharp teeth slice into her forearm straight down to the bone. She screamed in pain then yelled at Stefan to run while Tyler was still distracted as soon as he disappeared the blonde broke the wolf's neck and went to find a hiding place herself. Caroline ran into the science room hoping the chemicals would block her scent from Tyler and leaned on a counter opposite the door and slid down hugging her knees to her chest. The vampire knew she wouldn't last long with the bite, between running for the past hour and not having fed since this morning the delusions would start soon. Her fever was already breaking through and all she could do was hope for help or the end to come soon.

Klaus ran through the halls looking for Caroline, after he had walked into the school looking for his sister, noticing Bonnie tied up the hybrid realized what had happened. So through a little bargaining from Kol and the bribe of a shopping trip for Rebekah he had earned their forgiveness and help cleaning up the mess they had made. Kol had released Elena and Bonnie and sped away before Rebekah could answer the question of what had happened to Caroline. After pinning Tyler down long enough for him to change back and hatefully tell Klaus that the girl had gotten bitten again. He began to speed up knowing with a baby vampire and a werewolf bite time was of the essence, all of a sudden he heard her whimpers coming from a room nearby. He rushed through the door and saw her a crumpled mess and still more beautiful than any woman he had known. Once his eyes caught hers he couldn't help but feel a little guilty for the christmas incident with the hateful glare she was giving him. He didn't regret what happened, simply that she was reminded of the destructful man he was and ruining any progress he had made before.

" Are you hurt love?" he asked

Caroline looked away from him knowing for some reason lying wasn't an option and pulled her sleeve further up her wrist to hide the bite mark from him. She didn't want to die, the blonde just didn't want to ask him for help once again but she wasn't as stealthy as she had hoped. Klaus walked forward grabbing her hand and pushing back the clothing seeing a rather nasty bite mark already red and growing worse. He growled and made a mental note to have a talk with rebekah about reconsidering the shopping trip he had promised. Klaus knew there was no option for him, he didn't need anything from Caroline except for her to simply be. A world without her light, and her life just didn't seem right to him.

The original hybrid bit into his own wrist, crouched down to her level and baited her with his blood, at first she stared into his eyes refusing to take what he was offering. Klaus being just as stubborn if not more so looked back his blue orbs never leaving hers. Soon the smell became too much for her, Caroline grabbed his arm lightly closing her eyes and drank the revitalizing liquid. She had forgotten how good his blood was from last time and moaned in approval at the taste.

Klaus eyes will closed and head dropped back in euphoria at the feeling of her drinking from him, and he reached forward and placed his hand on the back of her head and said "That's it, Sweetheart."

Then as if realizing what had happened she pushed his hand away from her mouth like it was on fire, then remembered he didn't have to give her blood. Klaus had done it because he wanted to, nothing to gain or earn, he chose her.

"th- thank you..."
